Great holiday lovely hotel
Stayed at this hotel a week ago and had a lovely time. I was with the Saga group who looked after all of us so very well, thank you Mary and Tony.
The Hotel was very big and not really suitable for people with mobility issues. The pathway to the promenade and beach through the back gate was very long and steep with steps at the end.
The hotel is very central with lovely walks to the Marina one way and the Paloma Park the other way, Nice shops in the Marina if you like a bit of retail therapy with stops for coffee.
Food was good and varied with two restaurants open during my stay with just one of them closed for lunch service as the hotel was not all inclusive except for Saga guests so many were on half board.
A good clean hotel and pleasant staff. Just two staff that need to find a job they are happy with but it is not at that hotel!! one on the bar service and one of the chefs. A pity as they tend to spoil the whole experience.
On the morning of departure the water was turned off ready for pipe cleaning. The notice said 10:30am which by that time most would had showered and were ready for the day. Unfortunately it went off very early morning and caused problems to all leaving that day (me and other guests) and to those wanting to freshen up for the day. The reason given was it would finish earlier, that doesnt help those leaving for the airport during the morning. That was disappointing
However all in all I would recommend the hotel it was good value for money very central, clean, food good and plentiful. Everything you want from a holiday hotel. I had a great time thank you Best Triton
