I must have been round the hat rack ordering from you! Letting my bank sort it for us (Pensioners) took our Money with Next day delivery...what a lie that was ... Phoned you no Answer! Shocking product - virtually no airflow and noisy. Returned but they have refused to confirm receipt or refund money. They suggest refund is discretionary and make you pay for the postage. Even AliExpress provide 100% refund and return postage. Absolute sham outfit…..countless emails sent….no response. . IMPORTANT. Vortex a trading name - the company is HOTSNAP.

Now progressing MoneyClaim given they also ignored a Letter Before Action. This is a sham company who use fake reviews and false claims. Avoid at all costs any company who you can't phone, email or talk to and refuse refunds after making you pay to return the shoddy goods.

I placed an order on the 2nd of June for 2 Vortex Air Pro Plus models. At the time of placing the order the website stated nextday delivery. As soon as the order was placed immediate payment was taken and the confirmation email states delivery would be the 15th June. This day came and passed. I emailed hotsnap requesting the order to be cancelled and a full refund issued. They eventually replied offering a £30 refund and a lesser model. This offer was refused amd again requested a full refund. Despite clearly stating g in my emails I was cancelling the order they have refused to acknowledge. Y refund requests and to date no refund has been issues.

On the 1st of July I ruled a claim with HM Courts amd Tribunals Service (small claims court) this is for the full cost plus interest amd court fees.

I would not recommend anybody to order from this company as they clearly do not have stock and point blank refuse to engage with customers.

It's all a scam. They take your money straightaway, do not respond to email requests when you need to return an item. How is this legal? Who are you? How can you defraud people like this?
If you are reading this as a potential customer and think this review is a one off then please read the other reviews.
Sadly my 90 year mum didn't read the reviews and is now £350 out of pocket.

Same as many other reviews - next day delivery , a week later and nothing. Sent their support team an email, got a ticket and no reply. Scam?

i like many others ordered fans for next day delivery and they are obviously not being delivered next day and when you ring customer services you get through to an answer machine. Email them and that goes to a black hole.
The customer service is none existent and begs how this company can continue to trade.
Requested a refund through paypal and await outcome.
My advice stay clear.

ordered a fan from Vortex Air on 28 May for £134.99, which was advertised as being available for next-day delivery. However, by 2 June, their courier had still not received the item.
Despite repeated attempts to contact the company by telephone, their calls went unanswered. As a result, I cancelled the order on 8 June via email and Vortex Air immediately responded offering me a £30 discount if I agreed to proceed with the delivery, which I declined.
The following day, 9 June, I unexpectedly received notification from the courier, DX, advising that delivery was anticipated around 11 June. I postponed the delivery directly with the courier and informed Vortex Air that I would not be accepting the item.
It is now 19 June and I have still not received a refund for goods that I have never taken possession of. My emails have largely been ignored until I advised that I would be seeking legal advice and requested a clear date for repayment. Their response was simply:
"I have instructed the courier DX to return the consignment - we will refund on return."
No indication was provided as to when the item would be returned to them or when I could expect my refund.
In my view, this is unacceptable. I have today contacted Citizens Advice, who will be referring the matter to Trading Standards. In the meantime, I have had to initiate a chargeback through my bank, a process I have been advised may take several weeks to resolve.
Vortex Air's recurring explanation is that they are "a small company" and are "extremely busy due to the heatwave". Whilst I appreciate periods of high demand, this does not excuse poor communication or delays in issuing refunds.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to exercise caution before purchasing from this company. If obtaining a refund for an undelivered item is this difficult, I can only imagine the challenges customers may face should they need support with a faulty product during the warranty period.

Ordered a bladeless fan off them on the 31st May, got sent an order confirmation email, a "Jules the founder" thank you email and Paypal confirmation email. No sign of the fan 17th June so emailed them via "reply" to their own email - they replied saying they have no record of my order, please send info, which I did and now they're not responding and ignoring me. The telephone line has you on hold for an hour, then when you get through, automated voice tells you to email them and disconnects the call.

Thank God I paid through Paypal for the extra protection!

AVOID AT ALL COST, SCAMMERS!!!!

Full refund issued by PayPal after the company tried to fob PayPal off with a fake tracking number!!

Terrible. Can't return my fan I ordered. Can't get through to anyone leave you sat in a queue and then tell you after 30 mins to email support. I've done that too without a reply. Avoid at all costs

I ordered a Vortex Air on May 25th, with next day delivery. Received an email on May 28th (!) to say it was on the way. It is June 10th and still no sign of it! Customer service is almost non-existent and the company is shady AF!

Worst Company Ever.........Ordered a Vortex Air expecting next day delivery. Advised after purchase that delivery would take 3 weeks. I then asked for the order to be cancelled 7 times and through pay pal When I finally received a reply, I was told that the order could not be stopped even through it has not even been dispatched yet. Totally disgusted
They offered a refund of £20 and I could keep the fan, but it had not been delivered I’m waiting for a refund DONT BUY THROUGH THEM

Customer service is appalling.
I ordered two vortex fans on 26th May, I received no tracking details or any information of when my order would arrive. I found by chance after purchase that due to “high demands” the order would arrive by 2nd June.
I emailed to find out when my order would arrive but received no response. I then rang the company and was number 5 in the queue, got to number 1, 30 minutes on the call where an automatic voice message asking to contact by email.
I emailed both Vortex and Hot snap to be sent a tracking number, for DX for one 1 fan not even both and there was no message, no apology, but to date DX are still waiting for the parcel from Hot Snap.
I have requested a full refund.
The customer service is appalling and the communication is nonexistent. You can not get in touch with these companies. They should not be allowed to be in business.

I ordered my Vortex Air on 25th May still no delivery when this company garranties next working day delivery i have emailed and rang several times with absolutely no response from them.
This company is full of lies and broken promise.
I strongly recommend anyone thinking about using this company to look elsewhere and use a more reliable trustworthy company.
This company is a total embarrassment on how they treat their customers.

Cannot get hold of anyone to return the product! Not by phone or email. I am now £179 out of pocket. Will be taking it further.

My partner and I ordered two fans on the 24th May one white and one Black, on the 27th got a confirmation email stating both had been dispatched which there is two black ones (not what was ordered) for next day delivery.
It’s now the 29th and the courier still has not got it. Emailed them asking to cancel got the reply some fans won’t be ready for dispatch until mid June without actually answering our query. These people are advertising goods for next day delivery they don’t have in stock and once they have your money they don't want to know.
Avoid this company like the plague and go to Dyson ok costs more but better customer service and by going on other reviews of the vortex fans much much much better quality.
Have asked for a refund but just ignored the request.
Avoid, avoid, avoid,,woeful company.
My partner received a reply from Demi from customer support after she asked to cancel the order and issue a refund. Their reply was
they are having problems be patient but not a mention of the requested refund. They just send a stock email to everybody.
What a crappy company who have little to none customer service or business ethics.
It’s now June third.
Rang three times on hold for 30 mins get to No 1 in the queue and then told to email and the call is disconnected.
I have asked for the order to be canceled three times and each time I got the stock email saying it’s a busy time. Not once acknowledged my refund requests.
I think the next step is to report these con artists to the trading Standards.
Hotsnap are con artists. And scammers.

I purchased an vortex h2 oasis water machine at the end February. Having had a disaster with delivery, which in fairness was a DX delivery error, they kindly gave me a discounted price. Fast forward 2 weeks and the machine started to have lots of issues. I contacted hotsnap and they suggested sending it back. This happened and after an inspection it was deemed unrepairable and a new one was sent. The time from first order to receiving the new machine is over a month. The original machine had its warranty activated and upon receiving the new one we requested a new warranty. This has been declined and we have been informed that the original warranty, for a machine which has presumably been dumped, is still active, even though that machine has been returned and deemed not fit for purpose. Having lost some faith in the quality of the product and exchanged emails with a customer service rep called Demi, being openly honest about our issues and questioning the product and level of customer service, I have been informed that they will no longer respond to me. I was told in the very first email that I would no longer be entitled to a refund as I was outside their timescale for returns ( less than 3 weeks after purchasing the item). The product, when it is working, is good, but in the month and a bit of owning one im not convinced the new one will have much longevity either and knowing that im now being ignored, I have decided to come on here and deliver an honest review. Stay away from this company, they are appalling!

I have ordered 2 fans from HotSnap and couldn't be more pleased! The delivery was exceptional, form the communication to the quickness of receiving the fan. I am extremely pleased with these fans and with HotSnap and would highly recommend! Top customer service too.

I purchased the fan via vortexair.co.uk, but payment was taken by HotSnap. I was not aware of this at the time, and only discovered the merchant’s identity after payment.

I am currently in a dispute with HotSnap regarding faulty goods.

I formally exercised my final right to reject under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, specifically Sections 19, 20 and 23, after the trader failed to provide a remedy within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience.

Despite setting clear deadlines, I have received no response and no refund.

The matter has now been escalated via Resolver. I am sharing this review to raise awareness of consumer rights and the process.

I ordered catridge for my Vortex water purifier, it got delivered but I didn't receive it.
I contacted the support team, they peacefully listened to my query and guided me to do the next steps.

Later I realized the package was kept in a letterbox instead of the courier room, so I closed the request but I am highly impressed by the patience and good will of the team to help and support. Thank you!!

Woofheim / hotsnap have lost / refusing to accept they have received my return (a massive dog crate that cost £25 to post back) and won’t refund the money as I lost my receipt. I take full responsibility for losing the postage receipt, however it’s quite clear they have no control over the warehouse as every response I have had so far is ‘I’ll ask the warehouse to conduct a search’ - never ‘we haven’t received it’. I made an error telling them from the start I didn’t have the receipt as they will now just repeatedly say without tracking number there is no proof until I eventually give up. £225 gone. They are scammers evident by the other reviews here - do not trust woofheim.
Happy to update this review if I receive a refund but not holding out any hope ☹️
