Howdens - Altrincham Avaliações 

We have recently had our kitchen fitted by local joiners and used Howdens Altrincham.
Initially we felt that the service that we received was good but I feel that since we purchased the kitchen they couldn’t care less about their customers.
Our kitchen was designed by John and he was very prompt at responding to emails and the service was efficient. We asked him to return to our house and check his measurements which he did. However, he was only here 5 minutes and said that they were fine so we were happy to go ahead with the installation.
The kitchen arrived on time but I had to carry it all in with the driver as he was by himself. The delivery cost £60 so this felt quite insulting to have to carry it in ourselves. The driver told me that Howdens won’t pay for somebody else to help him.
Other then this everything seemed to be going to plan up until the installation when the joiners realised that after 2 days of fitting the kitchen the measurements were wrong.
They spoke with Howdens and quickly got replacement cabinets but this put them back 2 days which impacted their other customers. Howdens didn’t even offer us an apology.
The kitchen has been fitted now and we are happy with it.
I called back into Howdens today to return some spare parts. I mentioned some of the issues to the person I dealt with and he gave me a very insincere apology. I just got the feeling that since they have had our money they really couldn’t care about the service or after sales when dealing with their paying customers.
Buyer beware, shop around before going with Howdens and if you do then get your measurements triple checked.

Thank you Howdens Altrincham (and fitter Alan) for finally sorting out our kitchen worktop. We are really pleased with how it now looks and appreciate that you listened to us and did this free of charge. It is now my dream kitchen now

The Altrincham branch referenced fitters for our new Howdens kitchen, Aug 21... amongst many issues they Drilled through £500 german sink instead of granite bar behind it, fitted the poorest quality granite-worktops we've had in our last 3 kitchens, (silicone looked like it had been Trowelled around sink), integrated fridge/freezer door fitted poorly with both door-brackets bent and several screws missing, numerous other poor finish or sub-standard fitting issues, haven't the patience to list them all but have photo's for reference, we were getting nowhere with the branch management untill we decided to contact head-office and trading standards,
Pro's... cabinet quality, branch designer.
Con's... Referenced fitters, not getting meaningful replies from the branch untill going above their heads. Emails suddenly aren't being delivered... YEAH !!!,
Our third Howdens kitchen in 11yrs and the worst experience of them all, will never return to the Altrincham branch again.

The staff and service at the Altrincham branch are spot on...John got back to me straight away with a price after sending him an email and got the stock in very quickly. Great service when collected from Vickt very early on a Saturday morning. Always use Altrincham branch as always great service

I really wouldn’t bother with howdens altringham branch , I have had ongoing issues with them after spending thousands . I e mailed complaints department before Christmas and they still haven’t got back to me ! Joke setup .

Would have been 5 but for having to wait from 7:30am for first drop delivery, til 9:15, but appreciate these things happen

From the start of asking for help regarding the planning of my kitchen to the end of the process, I couldn’t have received more professional support. Chris, who came to my house to plan the kitchen, was so helpful and extremely reasonable relating to the many questions I had! He managed to compile the details of the agreed new kitchen plan and mailed them to me within 24 hours. I have nothing negative to say about my experience with Howdens and I would highly recommend them to anybody.
