Friendly service. Good price.

Had I been writing this review 2 months ago, I'd have been giving a 1* review because after a kitchen design consultation, a promised quote via our builder and an illustration of the design, we heard absolutely nothing.
Last week, out of the blue, the new manager called to follow up on our appointment 2 months ago, and was extremely apologetic when she learned that we'd basically been forgotten about. So, at her suggestion, we attended another design consultation with Jocie, who was absolutely outstanding in her attentiveness, attention to detail, customer care skills and she followed up on the promises she made.
Between Sharon, the manager, Jocie, the Design Consultant, and the rest of the team, they have turned us around and we are indeed opting for a Howdens kitchen and look forward to taking delivery of it in October.

I have been dealing with Becca for over 10 years and she never fails to disappoint. Her customer service is great and her care and attention to detail is fantastic. She always goes above and beyond and has not failed to help me during this period.

Ordered a kitchen as our installer only used them, what turned up was vastly different from discussed. After a lot of returns and ‘purchases’ to get what we need, was told we owed more money than was returned but they wouldn’t charge us. The purchases were just replacements for what didn’t turn up… refused to provide an itemised bill despite repeated requests and was told ‘it was all sorted and the contractor had agreed everything’. This didn’t happen. Avoid.

Edited to add: After receiving the invoices from the builder for the units, we calculated we had overpaid by nearly £1000, I have contacted the email address as requested by Howdens but am still awaiting a response...

Always welcomed and a happy bunch that work at Howdens nothing is to much troble just grate to shop there

If I could give Howdens of Petersfield 6 stars, I would. The planning and fitting of my kitchen extension has been a smooth and stress-free experience. From my initial talks with Chrissy Lambert, who was so very helpful, to fitting and completion, everything went like clockwork. The whole project was finished to the highest standards within two days, thanks to Derek's joinery skills and experience. I couldn't be more pleased.

Super helpful kitchen designer. Kitchen delivered during sale so saved lots of money.

Placed a reasonably large order over the phone, everything arrived as ordered and even got a call from the delivery guy to tell me he would be with me in half an hour, as requested by me but hasn’t happened with any other delivery from other companies on this job….

I can’t praise the team at Howdens Petersfield enough – they’ve completely restored my faith in customer service! From start to finish, my experience has been exceptional.

Aria designed my stunning new kitchen and absolutely nailed the brief. She worked tirelessly alongside me, always available to answer questions and offer helpful suggestions. Her creativity and dedication were nothing short of magic – she didn’t just design a kitchen; she brought a vision to life. From design to ordering and even sorting out storage, she went above and beyond.

When I hit a snag with an internal door, Becka was an absolute ray of sunshine over the phone. Nothing was too much trouble, and she handled everything with humour and efficiency. Her friendly approach and excellent service really stood out.

And then there’s Chrissy – my “lady in shining armour”! She sourced last-minute materials for me and truly couldn’t have been more helpful. Her can-do attitude and warmth made all the difference.

This team is a shining example of what great customer service should look like – friendly, solution-focused, and genuinely committed to helping. Head Office, take note: these people are fantastic ambassadors for your brand. I even wrote a letter to tell you just how brilliant they are, and sadly, you didn’t even acknowledge it – a real letdown (2/5 for your effort).

To the Petersfield team – thank you! Keep doing what you do so well. You’ve made a lifelong fan out of me!!

Brought some Brace and ledger door's, hung them and painted . They look great

Skirting and architraves getting thinner. Skirtings are now as thin as the old style architrave. Now use proper timber yards so have at least 20mm thick timbers
