NICK (Northampton ) This Man is a great instructor, went above and beyond training me this week. Very patient and informative. I couldn't have passed without him, I Walked in Hughes Yard Northampton with no idea how the Truck operates and zero experience but Confidently today the 8th July 2026 I walked out of that Yard as a Confident Professional Truck driver.

If you’re looking for the best instructor, Andy B is the man. In less than 5 hours, he took me from knowing nothing to passing my test today!!! This guy is incredible! If you want someone who will give it their all to help you pass... it has to be Andy B.

Eamonn made my experience very easy. Passed within the 3 days and would highly recommend him to anyone coming to do there heavy good test. All aspects of driving

Be very careful before paying this company any money. After I passed my theory, they asked me for a single date to start training (I said Jan 2nd). Instead, they booked me for a whole week without my permission. They sent a reminder exactly 7 days before the start date, and I replied instantly to tell them I couldn't do the whole week. They then claimed my reply "didn't count" as a cancellation notice, stole my money, and refused to rebook me. Unfair, misleading, and terrible customer service.
0 Star don't even deserve 1 star should be ban from amazon portal.

A good experience. The trainers were incredibly helpful. The only thing I would change is staying with the same instructor throughout the entire process, but that was out of the manager's control. But nonetheless, I got to meet everyone at Northampton. Thank you HGT and Zara, Mark, Heidi, and especially Keith and Nick.

My driving instructor made me feel comfortable from the offset, by giving the right advice, that he may have done on so many previous occasions, Keith is friendly, chatty and very knowledgeable, with his communication and instructions, Keith only raised his voice, once, as he is softly spoken, on me making the same stupid mistake, time after time,
I would highly recommend Hughes, HGV driver training, while they have such competent instructors

Just passed my Class 1 Driving Training and Test through, Hughes Driver Training. My training hours were short due to work commitments, but I was very lucky to do my training with, Eamonn. He was a fantastic teacher! Very good at keeping things calm and straightforward. Nothing was over complicated. Thanks to him I was able to pass both my tests first time. Thanks Eamonn!

Had a brilliant week training with Nick, got me to pass. Great bunch of people and very informative.

Learning to drive with Adrian was thoroughly enjoyable experience. He made the whole experience very relaxing. Superb instruction throughout the week. I cannot recommend Adrian enough. It was like having a mate teaching you to drive. Thank you very much.

I had a great experience learning to drive trucks with Neil Ball from Hughes driver training Leicester. He is an excellent instructor and teacher who made every lesson enjoyable and easy to understand. Neil was always patient, professional, and supportive, which helped build my confidence behind the wheel.
What I appreciated most was how he made the lessons fun while still ensuring I learned everything I needed to know. His clear explanations and positive attitude made a big difference, and I always looked forward to my driving lessons.
