Poor knowledge of their own products.
Tried to buy a policy over the phone, saleswoman couldn't answer question about coverage, was transferred to claims who subsequently hung up on me while i was explaining my query. I did call back and got an answer but I'm glad I didn't have the stress of poor service during a real claim.

Used a comparison site
Used a comparison site, quoted me the price I paid for my travel insurance with £0 excess fees. Come to claim and showing I only have basic insurance and excess would be £195. Poor

Thank you for your review, I am sorry you are unhappy with your recent encounter with Insurefor.
I am sorry to hear that there was some confusion over your policy excess. We have 3 levels of cover available Economy, Standard and Premier. The economy cover has a £195 excess, the standard cover has a £95 excess and the premier cover has £0 excess. The policy that you purchased was the Economy one and therefore has a £195 excess. All of this is covered in your policy wording booklet.
