My pond has suffered for years with Blanket Weed and I have tried many different products to control its growth without success.

Then I discovered Blagdon 'Clean Pond Pods'. My word, what a difference! I put in the first pod and within 48 hours my Blanket Weed had all disappeared!

I was absolutely delighted that it so quickly resolved a 12 year long headache for me. Superb product and I highly recommended it.

I purchased Interpet's hair algae treatment for my temperate tank as it said it was completely safe for fish. Immediately after the second treatment, one of my algae eating fish died. Within days my other algae eater had died along with two of my orandas which I had had for 8 years. The remaining three were gasping at the top of the tank. With an emergency water change, I managed to save them.
After months of toing and froing between the retailer and Interpet, they decided that it was not their treatment which had caused my fish to die, even though I had no issues for the 8 years prior to using it, nor since. Of course it was a complete coincidence.
Do not touch this treatment unless you want to anihilate every living thing (apart from the algae) in your tank.

I purchased a new pond liner for my blagdon affinity octagon pond.
As I removed the old liner that was 5 years old half of the plastic screws holding the liner to the frame had perished and became weak and broke.
When I took new liner out of the package there was no new screw that are required to attach liner to the frame.
I can not get replacement screw pack anywhere on line not even blagdon website.
I can get some for square ponds at £25 a pack of 10.
When I emailed interpet about this the reply was we will pass it on to the development team as feedback.
So my liner is attached with only half the amount of screws.

Blagdon grand affinity pond.
We recently bought one the grand and it’s been nightmare from start to finish. Everything is so tight to fit and I’ll fitting. One of the hooks broke when we added water. The liner is a bad fit and add strain on the hooks the plant bags have three holes but only two on the pond and your supposed to maybe use one of the hooks but the hole is two small and out of alignment. Overall for the cost it’s poorly designed. No reply from Blagdon so I guess their customer support is non existent. Thank god for world of water that supplied replacement parts.
Let’s hope it lasts but I am not convinced. Is it worth it nope

Problem with spare non return not available however interpet have supplied me with a new hose free of charge I still would not recommend buying the pond vac as spares not available but customer service have been very good

I can’t recommend this company enough. From start to finish Tim and Andy couldn’t have been more helpful. From pick up in spain , we were contacted with updates on progress and photos.
And collecting a happy dog and the end of the journey in the UK . Thankyou Inter Pet Travel.

Bought 2 aquarium heaters which both

I had an Interpet aquatropic 300w heater in my aquarium which housed my pair of Angel fish and their 10 part grown babies. I went away for a few days and when I came back there was condensation everywhere and the water in the aquarium was too hot to touch! Obviously my fish were dead and the heater had a thick layer of calcification on it. I sent the heater back to Interpet with a complaint and they came back with the fact that the bi-metalic strip was stuck in the on position causing the heater to overheat, but concluded that 'the product itself was not responsible for the loss of your fish'. How can they say this when it obviously was?? I am so angry and upset, I replied to them saying I didn't accept their conclusion and I will NEVER buy another Interpet product again!!

I purchased a Blagdon 16000 Clean Pond Machine on 17th August 2022. The transformer for the UVC light has failed and I have been told by my supplier that they are no longer available. Although I am very pleased with the performance of the product, I am surprised that there are no replacements. I have emailed Interpet 3 times and they are yet to reply. I have had to purchase another one.

interpet fungus and in rot. added to tank and all fish became listless. they were lying on their backs. sinking to the bottom, sometimes dropping like a stone. looked like they were drunk. found forums saying the same thing, so this is common. no warning on the bottle only on their website. PLEASE AVOID THIS MEDICATION.

This product almost burnt my house down. If we would have not been home we would have lost our home and our pets. I expect a call back ASAP or I will get a lawyer. I have pictures of the plug and the outlet and my wall. All were burnt. I want you to pay for the damage and also the anxiety that it caused myself and my husband. This could have been very bad. Take this off the market, to save other people from a worse fate than what we had to endure. We could have been asleep when this happened or at work. We would have lost everything including lives of myself my husband and my pets.

Bought a heater for my aquarium. I always wash new items in salt and rinse thouroughly. Put it in my tank, and within a few hours all of my fish had died. Do not take a chance with these products. Customer service wanted to replace the unit. No thanks.

Terrible company, bought an aquarium filer/pump and the instructions/trouble shooting are a joke !.
Section 2 states if pump noisy then lower the venturi in the tank.

Section 3 states that venturi must NOT be under the water !!

Impossible to do as water level minimal tolerance.

E mailed customer services....NO advice

I have purchased 4 over the past 7 years of the Blagdon 5W UVC water clarifier. ALL have failed after filling with water. This last one, fitted only a few weeks ago, all at a cost of over £70 each, failed straight away. I contacted Interpet customer services who, after several emails are adamant that they WILL NOT replace the item because I am not in possession of the receipt. It is quite OBVIOUS from the physical condition of the item that it is brand new, however, Interpet are not interested, they would sooner have their name tarnished on here. I have stated to Interpet that, from experience in a similar field, that there is a design fault that could easily be overcome but again, Interpet are not really interested. I will be purchasing a much cheaper Chinese clarifier that should do the job much better. So, be warned, Interpet customer services are well below a standard I would have thought should be far higher.

The instructions are a joke. I bought a river reef 94l. And nowhere does it say... "to stop the filter chamber flooding your house open the hidden gate in the second chamber. "

Just to give update on my Interpet Easy Read Aquarium Thermometer.
Bought over 2 years ago, and found rubber sucker started to wear and thermometer falling out.
Contacted Interpet to see if could order new rubber sucker, and as not a spare part available, sent me full replacement unit free of charge.
A First Class Customer Service, not many companies out there would replace after 2 years.
Very good Thermometer, with clear view, and green section to highlight temperature warning zone.
Very easy to attach to side of aquarium, easy to read, and would recommend this product.

Bought a Blagdon water feature pump from CMC Aquatics which failed after 3 months. CMC said I would have to return the pump at my own cost to them so that they could examine it, and this would not be refundable despite the 3 year guarantee on the pump. I then contacted the manufacturing group direct (Interpet Ltd.) and they immediately offered to replace the pump free of charge and arrange collection of the faulty pump. That is what I call excellent customer service and I would not hesitate to buy from the Interpet Ltd. Group again, or to recommend them. However, i will not be using CMC Aquatics ever again.
