ILFORD ...not interested in customers, was there this morning and asked for Benny Eggs breakfast - requested for the eggs to be scrambled instead of poached, but told they cannot do this, I could order a side plate of scrambled eggs though! The Assistant/person taking the order said head office doesn't allow changes. Not happy to say the least, and we left, there loss of business in this so called hard times (approx £40.00)

Was in with my wife had to wait 45 minutes for my food .my wife say her was OK my food was not good 😒 some beside me ask was it worth it I say no for £35

Ordered a vegan brunch and husband ordered veggie halloumi burger. After quite a while Brunch came out with an egg on it, burger was quite small with no garnish. Brunch was sent back into kitchen, I was told by waiter that he'd picked up wrong plate. A bit later he came out with what looked like the exact same brunch with the egg just removed. Portions very small. They were not busy. Two coffees and the above over £26! Disappointing, won't return to a JB again. This one was Telford Town Centre.

Everything! Service was friendly and food delicious.

Watford Branch. Been coming regularly for over a year and it's definitely my go-to cafe in the area.

Staff are friendly and helpful, especially the manager who is the epitome of good service! Food is decent and always served quickly. Coffee is excellent.

The tables and surroundings are very clean, and the background music is kept to a tolerably low level (unlike a lot of other eateries).

My only minor niggle is that the air-con is sometimes a tad too cool, but it does depend where you sit.

Hopefully the high standards will be maintained and I'll still be coming this time next year!

I went to Jamaica Blue in Ilford for a coffee and cake. I ordered at the counter and gave them my table number. I paid for the items. This is how they set it out to the customer. I waited for fifteen minutes for the coffee. I went to the counter and asked where was my coffee and cake. Ten minutes later the coffee turned up at my table. I drunk the coffee yet my cake had not turned up. So after half an hour I demanded a refund. If this is how Jamaica Blue organises customer services then they will be out of business very soon. Best go to Costa in Ilford next time.

Visited Jamaica Blue Hempstead Valley today with a friend. Lovely blue mountain coffee and friendly staff.
Will definitely be back!!

I checked the website the night before I visited to see the menu. On the day the menu was different. I ordered smashed avocado on toast with bacon on the top. Although staff were lovely the service was very slow ( the shop wasn’t busy).
When my breakfast arrived the bacon was mostly fat and I couldn’t eat it. My husbands bacon was the same. The waitress forgot I ordered tea. I reminded her I ordered Earl Grey tea. When I arrived it was English breakfast.
There were three of us there and we all agreed we wouldn’t be back to Jamaica blue in Braehead. If we had been asked if everything was ok we would have said no but we weren’t asked.

Visited the Kingston branch the staff the service the food was fantastic 😀

Hi, I visited the Jamaican Blue in Hempstead valley,Kent. I was/used to be a regular customer.. no more though. I used to pop in for a Cappuccino -however the last four/five times my cappuccino has been weak, watery and far too hot to drink. It’s as if they are using half the amount of coffee required and topping it up with boiling water. There has been no froth - which there is suppose to be…they have lost my custom.

Visited at 2pm and placed a food order. Lady on orders said food would be about 20 mins.

50 minutes later, the food finally arrived, cold and inedible. Bacon was basically just cold fat and disgusting

We walked out and left the food. Did get a refund, but no apology or effort to fix the issue. Nobody appears to be "in charge" and just left to run itself.

Would not be back

My first and last visit to Jamaica Blue, my daughters and I went to the Kingston branch yesterday. The restaurant was busy but not full, there were empty tables covered in used dishes and I had to ask staff number of times to clear our table. We were informed that waiting time for food was 30 minutes. While waiting we had our Blue Mountain coffees. My daughters enjoyed their iced lattes but my cappuccino was too hot. We ordered 3 meals and they were all served separately with around 15 mins between them so we were unable to eat together. My daughter’s American diner breakfast was served last, when it came I couldn’t work out why it took the chef so long to prepare 1 sausage, 1 small hash brown, 1 strip of bacon, 2 eggs and few tomatoes. Blueberry pancake was missing. My other daughter had steak stacked. The steak was fried completely dry and the mushroom appeared old and dry. I ordered Peri peri chicken burger, the chicken tasted fine but there were very few chips with it and they completely lacked any taste even with lots of salt and ketchup. The rocket was limp. Overnight I experienced some unpleasant gastrointestinal problems. We won’t be visiting again.

Killing time in Telford Town Centre and went to Jamaica Blue. Lovely friendly staff, very helpful and prompt service.
Had the eggs benny which was excellent and well presented.
Will definitely be back.

Last visit to Jamaica Blue Watford. We were there at 4.40 standing in the queue when a staff member asked us if we are getting a take away. Me and my little son were going to have a quick snack and drink. We were told ‘sorry you can’t sit, we are closed’ when they clearly had just decided that they couldn’t be bothered to serve anyone.
I politely said we will be quick and I thought you closed at 5, they said sorry we decide sometimes to close early.
It is absolutely PATHETIC how they treat their customers! If you can’t be bothered to work, just close the shop or atleast put a sign outside IF you decide to close early. I was looking forward to sitting with my son for ten minutes and he wanted to have a slice of cake. We were so disappointed.
I will never visit them again on principle- they don’t deserve my hard earned money and custom. I will make sure I share this bad experience with my friends.

Disgraceful service and staff. They should be ashamed; behaving like this and turning people who have reached the end of the queue. Absolutely pathetic.

Jamaica Blue Warrington. Third visit, each one worse than before. Never again. Ordered smashed avocado on sourdough toast topped with a poached egg and chilli oil. Toast was ordinary bread barely toasted. Poached egg was hard boiled and the chilli oil was non existent. A very expensive mistake on my part. We visited about 2pm on a Saturday, the place was nearly empty. I suspect this establishment won't be around for long given the plethora of quality eateries in Warrington Town centre. Not cheap either.

Staff friendly and helpful, I’m guessing short staffed as there were 8 dirty tables and the toilets were filthy this gave me no confidence that anything else was clean
I won’t come here again .

Dreadful. Ill mannered staff at till. Luke warm coffee arrives among uncleared tables with the meal order eventually appearing on the serving counter. And here it sat with noone taking interest while staff dandered about apparently doing very little. The restaurant was almost empty while others nearby were busy. In retrospect this was not surprising.

Tea arrived after a few minutes
Meals took another 25 minutes to get to the table. Luke warm! Tasteless! Toilet out of order! Tin cans on the floor! Tables not cleared!

First time and my last to visit Jamaica Blue.
First impressions matter.
I was greeted very brusquely and told take a seat and then come back with the seat number to order.
Zilch for customer relations.
£3.60 for a large americano - quality average.
