Quite disappointed in the whole experience with Clark Commercials Aberdeen due to severe lack of communication between sales team & customer. The lack of knowledge in the product/extras available & car being delivered without chosen extras which they didn’t even notice until I pointed this out on collection. I was promised unreservedly that these would be added to my vehicle asap only to discover that one of the chosen things is not compatible with my car. (Here lies the issue with salesperson knowledge). The promise of a refund of the cost still has not been issued & I’m going round in circles with the dealership. I’ve lost faith with them & would be put off from dealing with them in the future.

No issues. Purchasing process was simple and easy. Last minute changes to vehicle body colour and internal leather colour were accommodated. Received vehicle as per originally advised date.

Salesman was attentive, helpful and welcoming. Delighted with my new car.

A stress-free experience when buying my care

Good service, I kept getting regular updates on the progress of the build of my new car, esp with the worldwide shortage microchips.

Excellent customer service. Helpful and knowledgable staff. Smooth operation to firstly buy and then deliver/handover the vehicle.

Harriett was exceptional throughout the sale. I had quite a wait from order to delivery however I was kept upto date with constant communication. Went out of her way to ensure all my expectations were met. I have had 4 minis now and can say I will now use Mini Aberdeen going forward. Great service that should be recognised.

I am purchasing a VW California and I put in an inquiry to Clark Commercials. Initially the salesman was very helpful and courteous and things were going well; unfortunately that gentleman went on holiday and was replaced by a pedantic, rude salesman who spent 10 minutes on the phone try to persuade me that the 6 month warranty he was offering was not a statutory right I have anyway and actually has some value, which is not the case. He was wrong and eventually admitted it so clearly he was simply trying to take advantage of assumed ignorance, which is a very cheap sales tactic.

Moreover other VW dealers I am speaking to are offering minimum 12 month warranty on similar age vehicles and have very polite sales people. Let's face it - when spending 60k on a second vehicle you at least want to be talked to politely and not have a salesman think he can nickel and dime you over a statutory warranty! If this is what they are like at the sales point how will they behave after they have been paid if there is an issue?

I'd strongly recommend avoiding the Clark group after this experience - you'll get a better warranty as standard and more enjoyable sales process elsewhere in the VW deal group. Shame as I liked the first salesman and the vehicle.

Excellent service from Jacky Chan throughout. Explanation and demonstration at all stages was exemplary particularly as he was dealing with us as fairly aged individuals!.Beyond the sales aspect achieving funding approval from BMW was protracted and frustrating at times. But all was well in the end.

Exchanged my five year Golf for the new polo. Sales staff were very helpful, especially as it was during covid. It was a little difficult to find a car I liked, supply seemed short. But Wilson Stark was able to organise things, a very helpful and pleasant chap.
The Polo is fine, but for a couple of small issues that, due to continue viral infection, cannot be resolved.
