Guy came out just over an hour after AA contacted them as he was already on another job, it was late on a Sunday, so he kept me up to date where he was and roughly when he would be with me. He carefully replaced my tyre, great service thank you

Had a tyre puncture, needed a replacement urgently.
K2 tyres helped, very good service and pleased.
Recommend for anyone to go and visit.

Going to K1 for the last 6 years for multiple tyre changes

They are able to source all kinds of tyres and have multiple mechanics at their service so the turnaround is quick. Genuinely recommend them as have used them multiple times on multiple tyre changes

My experience is very similar to the other reviews here.

I went to k1 in Woodford to replace a leaking valve of my wheel.

They returned the car and it was still leaking.

I proved it myself at home by removing the wheel and putting it in water.

I went back and they tried with the leak detector and couldn't find it.

I then forced them to put it in the water tank and indeed the valve was leaking again.

The valve was then "repaired" and the wheel returned. I asked to put it back into the water tank to verify but I was told "we don't have to" it's fine.

Then the wheel went back to the car, after 2 days, the tyre was flat again.

I checked the tyre on my own again and the valve was leaking again badly.

I went back to Woodford (3rd time) and I was greeted by the manager, who very arrogantly accused me to over tightening the valve myself and damaging it.

I wouldn't even know a valve has to be tightened nor would know how to do it, nor I would attempt to do it.

I told him to fix the problem and I would stay there to make sure they do it properly, particularly as I saw them putting back wheels on cars just using the pneumatic gun, whilst, instead, particularly on expensive cars like mine, first you have to screw the bolt back briefly by hand to avoid damaging the thread.

I was told to go away and stay away while they work, so I stood outside the workshop checking what they were doing.

The wheel was then returned to me and I forced them to put it back in the water tank to verify that it was indeed not leaking.

I got shouted, and insulted, and I have heard swearing to me, in all possible ways.

I'd advise everyone to really stay away from this place.

It may be fine if everything is ok and if you have no issues.

But at the slightest of the problem they are arrogant and they insult you and rude and they swear.

I was accused to mess about with the valve myself, whilst obviously I never did, that's why I went to "professionals" to do it.

Please stay away and go elsewhere for your own sake.

They will try to scam you one way or another. Best to avoid them and go somewhere else. I visited K1 Tyres Woodford to repair what i thought was a slow puncture for the last few days, but it turned out to be a cracked alloy. Shahid Hussain greeted me on arrival and this is the guy that runs this branch. As I had my family with me, and we live 2.5hours away, I decided to take the opportunity to upgrade the alloys with a refurbished set they had in the shop. They swapped the tyres, and i took my old set with me. It seemed all good, but the moment I got onto the motorway, I could feel a strong vibration over 60mph. I suspected the old tyres may be the problem and had them changed locally a few days later, but during the tyre change, I saw the buckle in one wheel. I went for a test drive to confirm the vibration was still there and called K1 to explain everything. Shahid didn't want to pay for the cost to repair the buckle and insisted I bring the car back so they can see the buckle, which I just couldn't understand. They didn't care in the slightest that i lived 2.5hours away and the unnecessary cost of new tyres, which is money I can't get back. Now, because of how they handled the issue so far, I decided to get the crack repaired and had the tyres swapped back to my old alloys. I absolutely didn't want to spend any more time than necessary when i got to their shop. When I arrived at K1, Shahid inspected the alloys and agreed to give me a full refund. We went into the shop but the card machine was out of charge and I was asked to wait a few mins, so I thought I'll go and move my car out of the workshop instead of standing around. When I walked back in, I was confronted with "there is a problem we've found" and I was taken to the machine and shown a small scratch on the side of the alloy next to the buckled section. The scratch had apparently been the cause of the buckle, and it had somehow appeared when I was out moving my car. We argued for a while, but I could see the owner was just a fraud, so I accepted to have the cost of the buckle repair deducted from the refund. This is when Shahids own excitement of winning got the better of him, and instead of refunding me, he charged my card for the second time instead! He then refunded my card correctly, and I finally walked out. I was being completely transparent and tried to explain everything, but he didn't want to listen at all. They are quick to charge you for their service, but when something goes wrong, these guys are the last place you want to be going back to. See the other negative reviews before you risk taking your car to these fraudsters.
