Family vacation

We had a very good time. The stuff was very friendly. Jalil and Sid served us very nice through the days.
The all inclusive part has it's interesting parts ...like how you need to pay for an ice cream, or some simple alcoholic drinks. No bites without a charge between the meels, it wolud be nice when you have kids.
It has a variety of program to offer, but nothing that special, maybe the Gocart on an island is interesting, but we don't try it.
Also the evening before we leaved, we discuss 4 a clock in the morning for pick up, they showed up after 20 minutes of waiting with a 1 and a 4 years old. Like this we dont have time to go eat breakfast. It would be nice to serve you at least with some water...
The massage is asked almost every meal from you (almost like bagging for service)

A fantastic relaxing holiday

We visited in November and from start to finish ish had an amazing time . The manager Dermot met us at the landing point and looked after us so well . Nothing was to ouch trouble and the staff were so friendly and helpful .Our room boy and the IT manager made our stay perfect . The food in the buffet restaurant was lovely and very varied

Absolut nogo für 5 Sterne

Absolut no go für 5 Sterne Personal Unaufmerksamkeit Glas ist leer niemand fragt ob man noch was will essen keine Auswahl keine Beilagen ind den Restaurants unglaublich kinderportionen habe 50 kg geh mit Hunger ins Bett Sauberkeit Katastrophe buchte mit Pool bekam nach 5 Tagen eine Villa mit Pool 11000 e bez für nix es sind keine 4000 wert swirlpool jakusi eiskalt nur paar düsen sind gegangen im Zimmer viel kaputt schnorchelteise dauerte 1,5 Stunden das 6o dollas ein Alptraum dachte 5 Sterne kann man nix falsch machen oh doch mein schlimmster Urlaub in 45 Jahren absolut nicht zu empfehlen 3 Sterne ok keine 5 ägypten 5 Sterne habe ich für 2000 e ein traumirlsub hier 5 Sterne 11000 e Katastrophe ratten laufen einem wärede dem esse über die Füße kann nicht sein schau ins Land bis die reagieren ist der Urlaub rum

Il paradiso sulla terra

Il paradiso sulla terra! Posto meraviglioso e personale estremamente gentile!! Abbiamo avuto un problema con un bagaglio e si sono fatti in quattro per aiutarci!! Il cibo eccellente sia a buffet che ai ristoranti alla carte. Tante attività da poter fare se se ne ha voglia, altrimenti è incantevole fissare il mare dalla meravigliosa spiaggia. Anche se il resort era pieno sembrava non ci fosse nessuno. Un grazie particolare a Lucy per l'assistenza che ci ha dato per soddisfare le nostre richieste e aiutarci a risolvere il problema del bagaglio!!

Katastrophale Flitterwochen & Parasiten

Wir haben sehr lange überlegt, wie wir diese Unterkunft bewerten sollen.

**Positiv:** Die Insel ist sehr schön und das Personal vor Ort (nicht das Management!) ist sehr freundlich. Das ist aber sicherlich bei den meisten Inseln der Fall.

**Negativ:** Davon gibt es unzählige Punkte.

**Kinderfreundlichkeit:** Das Resort ist extrem kinderfreundlich, was für Familien ein Traum, für Paare in den Flitterwochen jedoch ein Alptraum ist. Kein Restaurant, in dem man in Ruhe essen kann, kein Pool zum Entspannen, nicht einmal die „Adults Only“-Bar war wirklich nur für Erwachsene. Bitte nicht falsch verstehen, wir lieben Kinder, aber wenn 40-50% der Gäste Kinder bis 6 Jahren sind, ist das im Urlaub bzw. in den Flitterwochen einfach zu viel.

**Kommunikation:** Die Kommunikation mit dem Resort ist eine Katastrophe. Wir haben oft über eine Woche auf Rückmeldungen gewartet. Unsere E-Mail, die wir neun Tage vor Anreise geschrieben haben, um den Transfer zu klären, wurde erst nach unserer Ankunft beantwortet. Bei dieser Preisklasse ein absolutes No-Go.

**Gesundheitsprobleme:** Das absolut Schlimmste: Mein Mann bekam ab dem zweiten Tag einen schlimmen Ausschlag und später eine allergische Reaktion auf die Ursache des ursprünglichen Ausschlags. Der Arzt vor Ort hatte keine Ahnung, was es sein könnte, und tippte erst auf Windpocken, dann auf eine allergische Reaktion, und verschrieb irgendein Medikament.
Als ich ab dem 4. Tag vor unserer Abreise einen Ausschlag bekam und der Juckreiz unerträglich wurde, mussten wir in Wien sofort nach unserer Ankunft in die Notfallambulanz fahren. Dort bestätigten zwei Ärzte anhand von zwei Befunden, dass es sich um Bettwanzenbisse handelte. Wegen dieser Bisse und des Ausschlags konnten wir die Zeit gar nicht genießen und haben uns dementsprechend an das Resort gewandt.Das Resort hat natürlich alles abgestritten und eine Bestätigung präsentiert, dass alles in Ordnung sei. Nach 2,5 Monaten Streit haben wir von der Unterkunft gar nichts und von Booking ein großzügiges Angebot von 25 Euro Gutschrift erhalten, was nicht einmal 0,5% des bezahlten Betrages entspricht. Nebenbei bemerkt: Die 7 Nächte haben 5.620 Euro gekostet. Unsere Forderung nach Entschädigung wurde mehrfach ignoriert, da drauf beharrt wurde, es wurde ja bestätigt, dass keine Bettwanzen mehr vorhanden sind. Das wir beide ärztliche Befunde und sichtlichen Ausschlag haben wurde komplett außer Acht gelassen.
Zusammengefasst: Flitterwochen in der Hölle und der schlimmste Weg, wie man Geld beim Fenster raus wirft.

The Maldives is Special, Kandima is Very Special.

The Maldives is Special, Kandima Maldives is Magical!

There are many types of paradise and Kandima, Maldives is certainly one. The island is about 3km long, the beach accommodation is discretely woven within the Palm trees. We stayed in the over water villas, definitely worth the upgrade, you can swim off your deck to say hi to Nemo!

The watersports are fabulous (chasing doplhins, parasailing, jet skis, snorkelling) the restaurants are first class but the real gem is the Kandima Crew - they are so happy, helpful and really make the holiday.

Highly recommended, you will love Kandima.

I was in Kandima for 1 weeks with my family

I was in Kandima for 1 weeks with my wife and our 2 boys age 2 years 6 months and age 5 months. Our overall stay at Kandima was first class. From the staff that are very attentive and always happy to help with whatever your need might be. To name few names of the staff(Kuma, Mizy, Dhoj, Desi, Elsa, Anita, Shafiu, Shifan, Haanu), We had lot of delicious food, with plenty of choice, activities (yoga, gym, water sports, fishing, chess, table tennis, pool, football) and beach (expansive, beautifully soft sand and warm waters) we had a lovely relaxing time at the resort. For any young family looking for a holiday to the Maldives this would be a resort that i'd recommend. It offers both privacy but also provides enough spaces for people to mix especially around the centre of the island where the longest swimming pool is situated. A place where i doubt you will regret your decision to visit. I will definitely come back. thank you to every one. The Head Chefs and the kitchen director are all fantastic.

Relaxing Kandima vibe

Our overall stay at Kandima was first class. From the staff (who were all very helpful and attentive to our needs), the food (plenty of choice), activities (yoga, gym, water sports, fishing, chess, table tennis, pool, football) and beach (expansive, beautifully soft sand and warm waters) we had a lovely relaxing time at the resort. For any young family looking for a holiday to the Maldives this would be a resort that i'd recommend. It offers both privacy but also provides enough spaces for people to mix especially around the centre of the island where the longest swimming pool is situated. A place where i doubt you will regret your decision to visit.

Kandima Resort, a fantastic holiday destination.

We had a fantastic ten days at the resort. The resort was very quiet due to the corona virus restrictions but we are sure the resort would be a great place to enjoy the beautiful Maldives at their busiest times also. All the Krew were fantastic but we would like to give particular thanks to Suresh and Rasil from the Breeze bar. They are lovely people as are all the Krew at the Kandima resort. Highly recommended.

Kandima- Everyone's K'nd of Place!

Just spent two amazing weeks at Kandima. This is a new and distinctly different Maldives resort. We were treated like royalty and special mentions have to go to Laura, Jeremy, Charlene and her girls, Tim the barman and the chefs, Ken and finally Janaka in Zest, yes you did cook the best French Toast and grilled pineapple!
I loved the contemporary buildings and accommodation which matches perfectly the laid back and hip vibe they are cultivating. Our Ocean view villa with a pool floating out over the sea was stunning and the best place to watch the wildlife go by, 24 baby reef sharks, rays, turtles and spinner dolphins in one day.
We were treated like VIP'S by Laura Hawkins, the PR Director, the General Manager Jeremy and his team, truly wonderful people who made a really special holiday.
The food was amazing, the buffets varied and it was a treat to have fresh naan bread cooked in front of you. We were half board which gave us the freedom to choose between the Sea Dragon, Azure and Smoked. As a fan of grilled food the latter was my favourite, but the Azure beach BBQ was the best meal. Tables on the beach, lighting effects and fresh food for you to pick and have cooked there and then was amazing.
They have a fantastic children’s area called Kandiland and focus activities at Breeze Bar which meant the Beach Club on the island was effectively child free - wonderful! Also wonderful was the spa. The ladies were there with cold towels as we got off the boat and we treated ourselves to a couple of treatments. Imagine a little treatment room right next to the ocean with the sound of gentle rolling waves and the relaxing as someone removes the tension from your flight and modern life.
