Incompetant or Just Lazy....
So here is what I wrote to Harvey Norman
Dear Mr Harvey,
There is much to like about yourself and the company you have built.
Your Gordon store is my local 'go to' for my electrical/IT/Appliance shopping needs.
So after years of satisfied service, quality and price, I thought I'd try your online store - what a mistake !
15 Days to get a 30kg box from Melbourne to Sydney. And for 13 of those days it was in Sydney..
In the e-commerce space you are seriously outclassed.
Your choice of courier 'Kinisi Transport' is a poor one. They are hopeless and are liars. After several days of me trying to contact them they finally returned my call.
They stated that they had tried to deliver the parcel but were unable, implying that it was my fault for not being home. When I explained that firstly I was home most of the day, that the special instructions state: "Please Leave at front door if no body is at home" and finally that I have cameras at home which clearly demonstrate that no body from Kinisi turned up, only then did they change their story and back track.
So finally I said I'd be asking Harvey Norman for a full refund and cancel the order if it wasn't here tomorrow ... and what do you know... it turned up the next day. Kinisi used an independant delivery guy, I asked him "was he busy?" and he said 'No." Jeez! Are Kinisi incompetant or just lazy? ..take your pick?
Today, I have checked Kinisi on TrustPilot and this summer 90% of the reviews are 1 Star !!
Mr Harvey, You should sack them, and until then I will sack you... (hey you chose them, so they are part of your service offering.)
Let me know when you have chosen a reliable courier and then I'll return but otherwise I imagine that, just like the Catch, your online presence will fade away.
