Very entertaining, informative and friendly day spent tasting the gins

We went to see this distillery during our trip around Scotland and it was a fantastic experience. So welcoming and generous when we arrived without a booking. We tested several fantastic gin’s and also bought some bottles that we made some drinks in the evenings the rest of the week.

We had an absolute blast at Kinrara being guided through the tastings by our very knowledgeable host Lorna. I now have the full range of gins so eagerly await any new releases.

We had the best experience at Kinrara, not only is the gin delicious but the staff are amazing. Caroline looked after us so well and was super knowledgeable about all of their gins, we will definitely be back again soon!

Brett gave us interesting information about the making of Kinrara gin and advice on drinking it- The tasting experience was very enjoyable.

We were visiting from the States and arrived about an hour before closing without a reservation, fully expecting to be rushed but Trish immediately welcomed us in and made us feel right at home. She took her time walking us through the shop and explaining the gins, and never once made us feel like an inconvenience.

By the time we were leaving, it honestly felt like we were saying goodbye to a longtime friend. That’s the kind of place this is warm, inviting, friendly, and refreshing in every way.

To make it even more magical, it started snowing outside while we were there. It was one of those moments you don’t forget. This is an experience I’ll be talking about forever.

Would highly recommend this tasting experience, Lorna was lovely and very informative, felt very much at ease throughout it, and also the bonus was the Gin was nice too, thank you ☺️

The tasting was a very enjoyable experience, Trish made it so much more than just the facts and process. We laughed so much and we got to taste excellent gin. Will be buying more Gin as too much choice! PS love the bottles

This tour was a wonderful, inclusive experience. We brought our dog and the other couple in our group had a baby. The guide was not only very knowledgeable but also went out of her way to make sure everyone was comfortable and engaged. A truly great tour that caters to different needs.

Visited Kinrara Distillery and was blown away with Caroline and Lorna. These two are the heart and soul of the distillery. Talked us through the many varieties with such passion. Caroline did an amazing job at explaining everything to us. I would recommend you to book a tasting where you get to try their gins with different tonics or even just go to the store where they also let you sample the different gins. My favorite is the award-winning Caper because it has a really rich depth of flavor but "Ginny" or the "wild juniper" are also really good.

I absolutely loved my tasting at Kinrara. From the moment I arrived me and my dog were made to feel so welcome and at ease. The gins are fabulous and Brett was a very friendly and knowledgeable host. Would thoroughly recommend!

Fan de gin, je me suis rendue seule à cette dégustation pendant que mes amies m’attendaient devant la distillerie, sur les petites tables au soleil. Je dois dire que je ne regrette pas une seule seconde de l’avoir fait. J’étais seule avec Carolyn jusqu’à un visiteur nous rejoigne, à l’improviste, en cours de dégustation. Qu’est-ce qui rend cette dégustation spéciale : 1. La qualité des gins divers et variés. Ils sont délicats et vous trouverez forcément le vôtre. Les tonics utilisés sont tout aussi divers, variés et de qualité. 2. Ce n’est pas une simple dégustation. On vous explique chaque ingrédient contenu dans les bouteilles devant vous, l’histoire de la distillerie, comment goûter le gin, l’histoire des graphismes, etc. 3. Et enfin, ce que j’ai aimé par dessus tout c’est Carolyn. Je crois n’avoir jamais rencontré quelqu’un d’aussi solaire. Très bonne commerciale mais bien bien plus que ça. Drôle, pointue dans ses explications, douce dans sa relation aux dégustants, toujours la petite pensée, la petite attention qui fait tout la différence.
Si un jour je reviens en Ecosse, je viendrai de nouveau dévaliser cette petite distillerie locale et je referai cette dégustation même si j’ai déjà acheté presque toutes les sortes de gins de la boutique. Mille mercis pour l’expérience
