Rude and aggressive staff, no regard for attendees
On 13 June 2026 we attended the Mahmut Orhan Block Party organised by Labyrinth Events. Our experience was absolutely horrendous.
The staff were extremely rude and aggressive especially at security. They felt the need to project power to the point of making you feel like a piece of dirt despite being a paying customer.
We arrived to the venue promptly well before our 3.30pm entry but due to long queues we reached the ticket check just past the 3.30pm and they charged us an additional £30. How can anyone foresee or calculate how long queues would be? This is not reasonable. When we protested they threatened to remove us from the queue.
The staff then held my hand inappropriately at security and yelled at me when I asked why they are touching me. Then without warning I was searched aggressively and was taken by surprise when they touched my private parts. I felt violated. When I asked if that was appropriate they said I was holding up the line and moved me along.
They also yelled at my partner and took her mints and threatened to remove her for asking how come. We were polite but met with hostility and aggression throughout.
The drinks were extremely expensive £7 for a small 330ml beer. Everyone who worked there had a bad attitude and disregard for customers. Possibly the worst experience I have ever had and will never attend another Labyrinth event.
