I have owned Lasko box fans for many years, and have found them dependable overall. I like how they come with a one year warranty. Also, how relatively inexpensive they are. The one thing I don't like though, is that the plastic handle on my wife's Lasko box fan broke soon after she bought it. Today when I contacted the Lasko chat platform, attached photos showing the receipt and model #, in order to get a replacement plastic handle, they did not help me. But Aljon of their email customers support has been very helpful and shipped me a replacement box fan handle within a few days.

Overall, I recommend Lasko box fans to others.

I used to buy Lasko products for years had their tower fan 2654 was perfect never heard the thing run all the time now that's all you hear is a loud home Lasko why are you not concerned about your loud fans being the quality issue I had to replace my 15-year-old fan and that's all I can get as garbage now sex what is wrong are your tecks deaf they cannot hear how loud these are why

I inquired about the procedure for cleaning out the inside of my tower fan, and after looking on their site it was stated that it was not necessary to get to the inside. Just a brush and a blast with some air was all it needed, the site also mentioned that if it was seen that the unit had been taken apart it voided the warranty. Well I decided that it was already out of warranty and after looking inside the fan with a flashlight I saw mounds of dirt just packed in there tight that wasn't coming out with just air, a leaf blower wouldn't even move it. I laid it face down on a bench in my workshop and attempted to remove all of the screws on the back, 8 of them were philips head screws and the other 4 were tamper proof screws. 2 were a triangle head and the other 2 were a slotted head with a stud in the center to prevent a regular screwdriver being used. I did after googling these screw heads find them on Amazon which I had to buy two sets of screwdrivers to get these 4 screws out and they put them in the deepest most inaccessible holes in the back cover. I finally got it taken apart and there was dirt packed in there like I have never seen, around the motor, the fan and the inside covers. I may add that this is after a monthly blowing out and brushing the vents out front and rear for over 5 years. No pets in the house, no kids, just my wife and I. I did take pictures of the fan when I got it apart and I also oiled the fan shaft bearing. Now I have the cleanest and quietest fan in town. I think that this rotten company Lasko does this purposely to prevent the average guy cleaning it, just have them go out to buy a new one. I will keep these tools as I have another Lasko fan that I will need to do the same job this weekend. I would never buy another one of their products again.

The fan worked well initially, but after some time the motor at the base makes a weird noise when the fan oscillates. I wrote an email to Lasko asking for a replacement of the motor, I was even willing to pay for it. Zero response from the customer service. The best part is after sending the email, I started receiving promotional emails. They spam my inbox for things I don't need and ignored me when I needed help on an issue. Classy.

The remote control also comes with the most garbage batteries you can imagine. They leak after some time and damaged the remote control.

Never buying another product from them again.
