I purchased a Nikon 300 mm lens from the London Camera Exchange, and had excellent service from both the Southampton Civic Centre and London Strand branches, both of which were involved with this purchase. I was contacted by phone after placing the order online and was very satisfied.

Speedy response to my initial enquiry and dispatched my order the same day - with DPD, my favourite carrier !.

I needed help with attaching straps to my new Swarovski binoculars which I had bought in the US. They helped quickly, efficiently , and without charge. Very kind and a great help. Highly recommended.

Helpful and knowledgeable staff and fair price.

Visited this shop last Friday after reading previous reviews. I was after a pair of 8x42 binoculars (belated Xmas present) but had not made a final decision on make/model. Robin was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable and after trying several pairs (including taking them outside of the store onto the Strand for a test run) I left the shop with a pair of Hawke Frontier ED X that fitted (exceeded) my requirements (and not a model that I had previously considered). Straight on to lift 109 at Battersea Power Station and the binoculars were fantastic to view the London skyline with. Would totally recommend this store and their most helpful staff. Thank you Robin. My expectations may be high, but the process for a refund was slow. The camera was returned on 21st December and refunded on 27th this may have been because it's Xmas.

Everything went very smoothly. Perfect support from the Strand team. I requested a quotation, details were forwarded with a payment link, as requested, and arrangements were made for delivery very promptly. The prices were good for ordering the entire package of parts, when considering the additional cost and concerns about reliability and warranty... if the good were ordered direct from abroad or through an overseas stockist. LCE Strand tends to be my go-to supplier. However it would be good if they stocked the entire range of Leophoto parts, e.g. L-brackets, Nodal rails... This order had been for a new tripod set-up.
