I would warn anyone thinking of taking on their services to look elsewhere.
Unfortunately, my experience is the same as the others that had to leave at least 1 star, when a zero would have been more appropriate. From the first call things sounded like Sam understood what i was asking and what would be the next steps and was told that 'Lexie is off currently but we'll get her to call you back when she returns on Wednesday'. I called on the Thursday as there hadn't been a call, only to be told by Sam that that was not what she said, and then got very aggressive on the call, accusing me of talking over her, which was because she was the one talking over me before I could finish my sentences. A deep breath and I allowed her to finish but we were still no further forward. I eventually got an email from Lexie with many promises, stating that my father had purchased the Ultimate package;
"I am writing in response to your call notifying us of the death of the late xxxx xxxx I am very sorry for your loss.
I have attached our Estate Administration Process guide that might answer any questions you may have.
After locating the original Will and the Will instructions, I can confirm that The late Mr xxxx held our "Living Wills" service. This service includes:
• An Executor support meeting
• Prepare all documentation and liaise with financial institutions, pensions, local authorities, etc.
• Track progress with Executors
• Prepare estate for Probate submission
To begin the process, please provide us with the following:
• The death certificate
• We are required by law to check Executors' identity for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) purposes. We require proof of your Identity and address; We use a secure online platform, InfoTrack, to verify Executors identity and carry out anti-money laundering checks. The cost of this service is £15 per person. I will send the link to you shortly and this will be sent in an invoice to you.
• All executors Details : Phone numbers and email addresses.
Please confirm your address so we can get the paperwork sent out to you.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about your duties as Executor or the process general."
No link has been sent and no reply to my request for another.
I would warn anyone thinking of taking on their services to look elsewhere. A local solicitor will handle all of the things they do and far better. The service they are providing at a time when you need support and help to wade through the paperwork and bureaucracy related to a loved ones passing is disgusting.
