Started working with The Leading Group on April 26, 2022. 11 months later, we've tried multiple products and countless ad variations, receiving very poor results. I earned $1,914.47 in revenue during all that time. I spent more than that on product costs + TikTok ads alone. That of course does not include the service fee paid to The Leading Group. All in, I took about a $6K loss on this experiment over the course of 11 months.

I recognize the risks of drop-shipping, eCommerce, and investments at large. That's life. But, I've never experienced the level of incompetence that has come with this investment.

There were four items that The Leading Group failed at miserably:

1. Order fulfillment. They would often not fulfill orders until 3-4 weeks after they were placed. With drop-shipping, the processing and shipping time can be 2+ weeks to begin with, so I routinely had customers not receiving orders until 6+ weeks after they were placed. This led to unhappy customers, multiple disputes on PayPal, and a stressful experience for me, the end client.

2. Communication. It was excellent when talking to sales. Then, once they have your money, it falls off a cliff. 95% of the time when you ask for an update (on which product we'll be selling, when they're fulfilling orders, which ads we'll run next, timeline, etc.) you would get the same response: "I'll let you know when we do X.". Weeks later, after no response, you'll reach back out, and they'll magically do it on the spot - which was beyond frustrating. No explanation of when they were going to reach out to you.

3. General Quality. Typos on the website they built. Getting multiple TikTok ad accounts suspended. Having the website contact form lead to me instead of them (not quite as passive as they make it out to be). A customer service email that when you forwarded any customer complaints to they would not update you or give you any indication they actually responded to the customer.

4. Feeling valued. As an investor in a store with The Leading Group, I felt valued up until they received my initial investment. Then, at that point, every question you ask receives an often delayed, labored response, as if you were being a burden. Generally speaking, when I give someone my money, and the investment is underperforming after several attempts, I want there to be a sense of urgency or to believe that they give a damn and at least want to fix it. They didn't.

EDIT: In the reply to this review, they say I did not follow guidelines in a timely manner. That is a complete lie. Over the course of 11 months, I routinely waited weeks to hear anything from them, and would then take action within a day.

Take your eCommerce investment elsewhere. They are not worth the hassle.

I have had a really positive experience with the Leading Group so far! I have been working with them for a month and a half and my store is already receiving several orders daily.

I began working with The Leading Group back in October. It took a few products before sales began rolling in during the holidays, but it is possible to break even eventually. It's not as hands off as I was told during the initial call, so be sure to get clear expectations during your onboarding calls. You'll also want to keep an eye on your orders and push them to process it where necessary.

I began working with the leading group three months ago. I have made approximately $4,000 in sales, and $2,800 of that has been profit. While I am not far from breaking even, I am not overly concerned with that because I am happy that the business is functioning well. From my experience, I have learned that a good product or website and effective advertising are crucial. I would like to express my gratitude to the leading group and will make sure to inform my friends and family about your company.

3 months in sales are ok, not expecting to make crazy money yet. But I do see it working. We tested about 5 products, so far my 5th product is doing well. What I am seeing is their system works well only if you have the budget to keep it going. Don’t expect to sign up and expect to make millions with a small ad spend. It will make you sales here and there but the real stuff happens when you start spending more.

So I’ve been a client of leading group for about 10 months exactly. It’s definitely not a get rich quick thing. I used to work a 9-5 job and didn’t really had time to work on this myself. I was required to do some tasks on my end which I wasn’t fully aware of when onboarding which is totally fine nothing like running the shop all by myself. It was mainly paying for orders and ad spend. Communication was great not as good as I wanted to be some times but it got the job done. These guys are helpful and definitely know what they are doing just know you aren’t going to be rich right away. My store is currently doing about 300-400 net profit per day I was asked multiple times if I was ready to scale the store to bigger numbers but I was just scared to deal with more customers because of shipping delays. I am sure it’s possible but I’m not just ready to pull the trigger yet. Once I feel comfortable enough that’s when I can really get to big numbers that they advertise on their instagram. I would’ve given leading group 5 starts but I am very picky. Again I know a lot of people will see this review I am letting you know you will not be rich right away.

Thank you the leading group. I’ve been a client of theirs for 10 months! And it’s been great so far. I finally wanted to do this on my own but since the holidays are coming up I decided to stay and spend my last Q4 with them. My store looks amazing and the daily sales we get are even better!

My experience with the leading group so far has been amazing. I am now on my 8th month as of now and my store has been really consistent with sales. Yes it took them sometime to find a good product to sell other than that I got nothing to complain about. 👏
