My experience was perfect. Fast and convenient.

Been waiting since November 30 for a total balance payment to post to my account and as of December 6th it has not posted. Called customer service repeatedly December 5th left 4 messages to call me back and nothing. Call customer relations (collections) and they transferred me to a customer service representative that could only answer 1 of multiple questions, with no direct explanation why it has taken this long for a payment to post to my account. All she could do was quote company policy which did not answer my direct question of why it takes 7 to 9 days to post an online payment that is processed in 5 day.

Was Easy and Quick to sign u, had no issues whatsoever

Depositing bad cheques in my account and how I am -3000 bank is trying to tell me to pay it back but this isn’t my money at all, I think LendDirect should fix this for me, with two kids and Christmas around the corner with my accounts at my bank locked.

PLEASE FIX THIS WITH MY BANK NOW!!!!

Predatory lender. My loan wasn't even with Lend Direct originally, it was just miraculously transferred over one day without warning.

I had 2 missed payments for this month and I talk to the Branch Manager (Widad Akinola) from Calgary branch if she could help me out this time by asking her to take out the outstanding balance on the 12th of next month with the regular payment. But she was being so rude not a good customer service satisfaction. I totally understand that they have helped me out with the 2 payments being added to my existing balance but I’m not satisfied with her service!! Thank you .

I have to wait 2 weeks to close the account . I will never ever deal with lend direct again plus their interet is so high

issue accessing account, system would not text the 5 digit code. quick call to customer service line got me the desired draw, but have to try later for online account verification{ will prob get a fistful of text/emails later in the day}

They're very helpful. They explain everything clearly so their customers, so they can understand all the policy of the loan.

I’ve been a long-time customer who trusted LendDirect to operate fairly under Canadian banking laws. What I’ve experienced instead is a pattern of predatory conduct, unauthorized withdrawals, and systemic disregard for federal financial regulations.

effective annual rate exceeding 47%, They . recalculate multiple times without disclosure. Manual payment through the bank and LendDirect processed it as a duplicate PAD debit and was charged interest.

Despite formal notice, they continued debiting funds, ignored compliance requirements, and re-amortized the loan to inflate interest. This behavior falls within the scope of Criminal Code s.347 (charging a criminal rate of interest).

When I contacted customer service, staff refused to provide management contacts, requested redundant personal info, and later disabled my online portal access — effectively blocking visibility into my own account data.

In my opinion, LendDirect’s actions demonstrate criminal-rate lending, consumer deception, and obstruction.

Recommendation: Avoid this lender. Monitor every transaction, revoke PADs in writing, and document everything — once you dispute, expect pushback.

I’d like to commend Angie and Jalynn for helping me get a loan. They were very friendly, kind, and took the time to go over every detail and piece of information with me. I truly appreciate their patience and professionalism!

Easy to apply and you find out right away only issue i had was that you have to call in to get the loan approved/finished and I didn't know that there was an extra cost for loan protection or something like that which I didn't want and the person I talked to first didn't say anything so my original loan offer was no longer there and I got a smaller loan offer, and then had to call in again to do the process over and said i didn't want the extra and was upset that my original offer was gone. Other than that they are great, very helpful, and I would recommend. There are some who get denied tho.. thats only the other issue I have. Some debts you have might not be your fault and your still stuck with them..
