Live Your Message's Experience Master Class was the beginning of the HUGE elevation of my coaching business. I have taken many, MANY other programs both in person, hybrid, virtual and online so I have many experiences to compare this to.

I have read many of the negative reviews here so felt compelled to share my own 3-year experience with Marisa and her programs. First of all, the clarity piece.

I was not sure what my course would be when I joined EPM and I was inclined to lean toward something that was more in the personal growth category. Although it was uncomfortable to hear, the team helped me learn how to test the concept with the people who ultimately would be my clients. A couple iterations fell flat. THANK GOODNESS that they had shared that test of concept (and how to do it) is a critical first step. If I had been stubbornly attached to a specific version of my idea, I could have wasted a lot of time and money (and hope) on something that simply needed iteration.

I did have to be willing to get out of my comfort zone and actually talk with people but the team at EPM showed me how to do it and (brilliantly) how to begin talking WITH my potential clients versus AT them. Teaching messaging is a super power of this team and it doesn't mean teaching bait and switch at all. It means learning how to really understand at a deep, deep level what your clients need in addition to what they feel they need. For me, this meant not only that I was able to be of more value to my clients but that ultimately translated into more sales.

Her systems are easy to learn when you are committed to putting in the work. The time investment translated for me into financial return but maybe even more importantly an understanding of how to translate what I love into an actual business that can truly benefit others at the same time.

I have never seen a program in this price point that offers such detail and coaching. Do you have to be coachable? Yes you do. That means that you have to be willing to be open to the insights and expertise that they share. Do your customers want to understand what the tangible finish line will be even if you are offering something like inner game or weight loss? They do and my coaches helped me figure out what in true authenticity that could look like.

My results were so empowering and exciting that I then enrolled in her Momentum higher tier program. I could go on and on about the resources that were available to us... one on one coaching (with the capability to email our coaches in between sessions), expert videos on just about any question/topic, SPECIFIC strategies and techniques based on where we are in our business (start-up businesses cannot focus on the same strategies and 6-figure businesses), etc. Within 3 months, I was ready to progress into her highest earning group.

Again, I had to be willing to do some things that made me uncomfortable like getting out there and doing videos, literally having conversations with people to spread the word, etc. NEVER was I encouraged to do anything that felt like a scam and NEVER did I ever regret the significant financial investment that I was making in this program.

And then her quarterly accelerators... wow, just wow!! I recently was able to start scaling my business to the point where I am bringing on an actual team to do my logos and marketing. They said that they have NEVER had a client have such a grasp on the mindset messaging for their ideal clients. That was ALL thanks to this course.

The written marketing content examples (that I had written at these accelerators and inspired by what I learned at these accelerators) also blew these guys away. And these are guys who have done work for major name clients. They are not newbies.

What has also been invaluable is to learn how to craft my clients' journey so that I continue to add value which means I continue to keep them in my world.

I can honestly say that Marisa's programs have saved me DECADES of trial and error and helped me (sometimes painfully) see where I was getting in my own way.

True, these are not programs for those who want the most with minimal action. And honestly, of all the folks that I know who solidly and consistently have businesses that maintain 6 figures or higher, minimal action is not what gets you there. However, it's possible to take tons of action that is the wrong action or the right action in the wrong order and still see no progress. For me, Marisa's integrity, generosity of time and insight prevented me from barreling down many wrong turns.

I have accomplished what just a few years ago many said would be impossible. I would HIGHLY recommend LYM and Marisa to the serious entrepreneur who is looking for real answers, not hoping for a magic wand.

Not worth the money. There was a few good lessons but one would have gotten more by simply going to a city college entrepreneur night class or a entrepreneur certificate class online. They don't really help you find your niche they just basically tell you to keep changing it. Have to agree with everyone else, she is definitely about the self hype aspect. In the Facebook I asked if other people regretted getting the class and there was actually quite a few people that did. The return on investment would have been better if I had just bought a funnel program. I think it was my fault that I thought you would be able to build a online class people just take and learn from. But actually it's more one-on-one coaching or talking to people. The class doesn't show you how to scale your business or idea. The majority of the time they reject your idea and tell you to go do it again until its completely watered down and cheesey. It's more of a marketing class than anything else. The other problem is they want you to change to a topic or aspect of what you have expertise in to something you have no experience in. It more or less teaches you how to scam people out of money based on cheesy gimmicks. Don't get me wrong they presented ideas in a different way that was simi interesting but nothing you wouldn't learn in a free Ted Talk. I definitely regret wasting my money on this. I could have put a down payment on a car or got a $15,000 business loan and that would have been a better return on investment. The program should really be called click and bait to success. I'll save you over $2,000 and tell you the live you're message secret that you pay for: Pitch 1,000 people to get 3 for One on One coaching. Thats it they tell you you cannot create a large program for the masses and that you have to do live one on one coaching and personal selling of your product. I started the class 9/24/2022-01/2023.

This program advertises its for anyone, and in my experience it’s for very specific niches - which would already be designed and operating prior to enrolling in EPM. Inside the course are mass group calls (1000+ people), and when people would speak or ask questions, it was clear and visible which businesses could use the material - because they were already launched in the world, versus those who were struggling to formulate their idea. The program markets as helping someone formulate their idea but… if it’s not done within the first week, things keep moving on and you’re left behind.

It’s expected to put your product verbiage to align with their templates. Which on the surface sounds nice, and when I used them to apply to my business, I was told that they wouldn’t really apply and to pick something else. Which… I still didn’t understand. (I teach Pilates, it’s not complicated).

The biggest message I got was that you have to market your program with a promise in x amount of time. While this will absolutely work for some businesses, it just won’t for others. (Ie I can’t guarantee someone’s weight loss or energy boost in 30 days, everyone is different).

In general the narratives they advise to implement are highly sales-y. I didn’t feel comfortable using it because it presented as forceful and in-authentic.

There were some odd choices… there was a lot of talk of the genius-ness of Marisa and how exceptional she is. I’m sure she’s wonderful and very talented. This constant narrative was over the top, like why do I need to be told this over and over?

One of the bonuses was access to another webinar; which you later learn that if you want to attend you have to pay 100$ to get a box on paper goods.

There are big cheesy parts, like matching your verbiage to say “Your mission, should you accept it…” and doing presentations in pilot costumes and win pilot wing trinkets for program “take off”. But for some people that’s their thing…

While these are non-important things, maybe this shows how much information I learned and walked away with.

There was heaping piles of material and various document downloads that didn’t add to clarity, but instead confusion.

I think she pays for companies and influencers to give positive reviews because completely unrelated niches are reviewing the program and they all say the same thing.

Was it worth the money? No, I would have rather put it toward a certificate in Branding or Marketing at Cornell or some other educational institution, rather than some persons high ticket offer.

I spent nearly a year full time, living on savings, seriously trying to build and sell my own online courses and a year before that dabbling in online courses (and starting my own tech startup as an expert software engineer). I made a lot of progress but I didn't know what I was doing or where I was going. I'd find a random tip online, do it randomly, for a random amount of time and then find a new random tip. EPM (The Experience Product Masterclass) gave me desperately needed structure, coaching/feedback and a complete process. I sort of knew some part of it all already (and all the ideas are laid out in her free webinars) but I needed to buy and go through EPM to actually execute it. EPM is the thing that I desperately needed. That said, this is the kind of course that you use as leverage: it really helps to already have your topic, done as much as you can on your own and then you wring everything you can out of EPM to force your own online courses to make money. This is not the kind of course that you take for fun or to get an "A". You shouldn't be a total novice and just trust Marisa; you'll likely fail. It's totally on you to make a money-making course and you use EPM as a jumping off point and a resource to get your course to success. For me, EPM is 5-stars but, for lots of people, it's hard for them and will be a poor investment. Be warned: the money back guarantee is very strict and you shouldn’t expect to get your money back. Be a smart buyer.

I just attended one of her webinars. It was so unbelievably scammy and click baity -feeling, I had to write a quick review! Don't fall for this. This is NOT real.

Anytime someone tries to pull a fast one, they have fast slides and fast talk and their numbers won't add up. All you need to do is just do a bit of research.

The 1-star reviews resonate with me. The course was a marketing scam. The materials were full of beautiful language but lacked structure. Learning was hard because I was inundated with superfluous information and multiple nice-sounding names for simple concepts. In the end I could not put to use 98% of what I have learned. I was misinformed as to what is the number of hours I will have to invest. It was not possible to keep up with the pace of the course. The numbers Marisa quotes for success of the students do not add up. But she has a powerful marketing machinery supporting her. I know many from my cohort who have given up. Do not take this course!

This course is by far THE worst course I’ve ever taken. Overwhelming, redundant, lacking concision, although Marisa keeps saying how important it is to be concise, and yet in her videos and coaching calls, she goes on and on and on saying the same things over and over again. A big part of what she talks about is how amazing and smart she is and how she has so many famous, and financially successful friends.
That being said, there were a few interesting learning points, but it could have been summarised in a few hours course. But for $2500, I expected less fluff, more powerful content, and above all results.

I suspect her to try to drown her students (customers) under the amount of redundant content, so that they lose their ability to think critically and just join into the personality cult that she had going on during the whole program.

There were so many of us in the program that comments on the FB group were drowned and thus, impossible to create and benefit from a supportive environment. I never felt lonelier than during this course.

The worst, however, is that despite this overwhelm and signs of burnout, I followed their process to the T, applied everything I learned, and went all in. During the final section of the course, we’re supposed to chat with potential prospect and sell them our experience product. Well, I talked to more than 100 people in 2 weeks, and besides loosing my health and mental health (I couldn't get up in the morning, and I was crying everyday by forcing myself to apply their technique, I could feel I was losing my life force, and was having very dark thoughts) over the process, didn’t manage to enroll ANYONE. Even my assigned coach told me to stop and that this method doesn’t work for everyone. I was pushed to ignore my intuition and to adopt a message that wasn’t mine, but Marissa. Instead of being given the tools to find what worked for me, I was just treated like a little soldier, to use Marisa’s words, Marisa’s strategy, Marisa’s templates, etc… so at the end, we were all like little robots, exhausting ourselves, on a hamster wheel, being told that it’s the only technique that works, and that we should try harder. Of course, it doesn’t make sense because as a human species, we’re incredibly varied and different, and resonate to different strategies and wording.

Their process didn’t work at all for me, and so I applied for the Make Your Money back guarantee. It was refused! They told me with a poker face that I didn’t try hard enough. A gaslighting and patronising attitude.

What a joke!

My experience was not "Live Your Message" but "Die Your Message". And also "Live Marisa's Message".

EPM was a con and fraudulant advertising. Marisa had a lot of us on the line to sign us up at the last day of sign up We all were beginners with no experience and the money was too much for us to lose if we failed. Maris told us we could do this with no experience or following etc and not to worry at all about the money as there is a safety net! the safety net is if we do not earn it back she will give it back if we finish the course and then she said so just sign up, no risk at all. We all did. I did based on her money back guarantee as i did not know if i could succeed with no experience or following or social media. The course began and in the first week i knew it was impossible to keep up with the amount of new content and short deadlines. it became clear shortly that the money back guarantee was almost impossible but i could not lose it so i got sick trying to keep up and i managed to make it and get it all done and in on time but they refused my claim anyway, saying i did not submit it all and i did, and i have it all to prove it. i was sick for a while recovering from the stress of keeping up and tired of their rhetoric that it was me resisting change that was the matter and me not wanting to grow. the dopamine button was garbage and a con too. i was miserable during the entire thing. other students said it was crushing and brutal and words like that. i am guessing there were a lot of people who lost their money and marisa made a lot of money on failed students, if half failed that is a million and half dollars. a lot of motivation to overload new students. they get to keep the money and not pay coaches to coach them,,,what a scam

A very good and well structured programme designed to keep you working, engaged and progressing.

The weekly pod sessions are good.

The content is a bit much to go through week by week. It can be a lot to keep up with, but you do get a mot of information. ...and you have to work to progress. It is as simple as that!

I was invited to the EPM Webinar, probably one of the dozens of freebies I signed up for. I usually ignore the subsequent emails inviting me to a webinar. On the day of the webinar, I was out running errands, I received an email inviting me again to the webinar. I was about to ignore the email as another waste of time, as I spent many a time on other course creation webinars on "how to make six-figures' following thier programs, as I was bored I decided to tune in. I already spent some time attempting to create my own course, but needed someone to bounce ideas off and if I was on the right track. As we continued to run errands I continued to listen on my phone. I was thinking to myself, this is pretty good, she's making a lot of good points. In the end, this is where they lost me, the price. It was too steep and as a salesperson for over 2 decades, my "bull" meter went up. Too rich for me. I received another email for another course they offered, about 10% cost of the original, it seemed interesting and I can afford it. Halfway thru the new class, I stopped and realized that they knew their stuff and mulled over the EPM class again. I was given permission to join after the enrollment period ended, with the caveat that I was not eligible for the guarantee, I thought that was fair. I hesitated again, having spent another week mulling it over. I am very grateful that my wife asked me "If it wasn't for the price, would you do it?". One of the best decisions of my lifetime. They do a great job of everything they do. The content is on point, the people are fantastic (a little quirky, in a genuine way), the structure is perfect, and group coaching and personalized feedback are helpful.
I would recommend this program to anyone that is serious about creating their own online course. If you're not serious, don't do it. The content is great, it's just a lot. I wish it was longer, more time for the marketing aspect. This whole program can fit into a college semester. The program is built around the idea to start the process of quickly creating and marketing a course and a foundation and process. I get the reasoning behind the time frame and agree with it. You made a fan, more than that you made a cheerleader. Dare to say, I would pay more for the EPM course (don't tell them, they'll raise the price ;-). Good luck.

I have done several courses over the past few years and without a doubt, this has been the best. Marisa is a powerhouse of knowledge and energy. She has wisdom and insight which she shares to keep new business owners moving forward towards their goals. Marisa's Experience Product Masterclass was amazing! I've take quite a few courses with several of the masters in online course launching. Marisa's course supports learners to work through the steps to create a Minimum Viable Product, in a way that makes it manageable and viable. Marisa provides weekly coaching and her wisdom and ability to zero in on the underlying issue alone is worth the price of the course. The course includes a weekly session on learning the very basic technology needed to launch a course, and there were so many gifts and nuggets shared in those sessions. The weekly coaching sessions with a smaller group were great opportunities to be coached or to benefit from hearing others being coached and learning. This course helped me work through all the steps and working towards very specific milestones, which I'll be able to use over and over.
