Very friendly and understanding of my needs. Made me feel valued as a customer. Made the whole process feel easy and stress free.

We bought a van which was delivered to us. Two of the tyres were not road worthy and I had to have them replaced straight away. When I telephoned the salesman he agreed from the photos I sent that they were right on the edge of being legal but would have to refer it to his manager. I was offered a free service as compensation which I declined as I do not trust this garage. I have not heard anything since even though I was told he would ring back the next day. I do feel scammed that I’ve been sold a vehicle that was not road worthy. I’ve had to buy a new battery within a couple of weeks as well, so after forking out £30k, I’ve had to spend more on top which wasn’t ideal! I would not buy anything from them again, the trust has gone and communication was terrible. Once youve paid I don’t believe they care. How this got through an MOT I have no idea as the wipers also had to be sorted. If you’re thinking of purchasing a vehicle please bring an expert with you to look it over. There were other issues but communication, trust and a roadworthy vehicle should be at the top of your agenda not grab the money and ignore.

I see there is the standard response received from Lookers just now from my review and they’ve even forgot to remove the “template” for 1/2 stars at the top! I had already made a complaint through the website and no response ……. Says it all to be honest

Tim at Lookers Chelmsford went above and beyond for both myself and my Mum when we were both purchasing used cars, hence the reason for returning to Tim. For my Mum he delivered the car to her door and took her old car and even helped with the paperwork that had been lost by sending off for new forms as she isn’t particularly technically minded and didnt know how to obtain replacement documents. For myself, I had test driven a car at another branch of Ford where customer service was dreadful. I wanted the car but didn’t want to deal with that branch again. I contacted Tim and explained the situation and he went to collect the car for me and made the process incredibly easy. Will always return to Ford in Chelmsford and ask for Tim as he is honest with his thoughts about levels of cover required, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. After having the car for a few days I reached out to ask a few questions and he was straight back in touch with advice. Can’t recommend Tim and the team at Lookers Chelmsford enough!

Somehow dropped car off at 0900 for service, called at 1400 hadn’t even gone in yet, then 2 hours later car was done.
For comparison, Hyundai Toomey Basildon and Southend managed to service and mot our other car in an hour and a half - less time than a service here. Would not own a ford again nor come back to this branch.

First class service from both the reception staff member and from the workshop especially as they sorted out a problem with a new spark plug which had a serious manufacturing fault. All in all brilliant customer facing and caring service, fully recommended.

Paul at Lookers Chelmsford was really good, knew his stuff about the New Kuga that I had ordered. Friendly and made to feel special by Paul and Lookers Chelmsford.

We dealt with Craig Davidson at Lookers Ford Chelmsford. Craig was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely patient throughout the entire process of purchasing the car. All in all a very good experience. We have no hesitation in recommending the Chelmsford branch of Lookers and Craig Davidson in particular.

Easy booking, date and time available for my convenience, staff very friendly and helpful, courtesy car ok , service price reasonable, break fluid price a bit steep, car was serviced and ready for pick up in good time,

The delay between receiving the video from the mechanic advising that my car had passed it's MOT until the Adviser confirmed it was available seemed excessive as about 40 minutes. I think a better focus on the customer experience would benefit the expectations of all customers.
This reply from 'Head Office' is exactly the problem regarding customer service. I am NOT making a complaint at the service from Lookers Chelmford just purely making an observation at just how you could improve customer service. I would suggest Head Office should forward this information to their service department at Ford Lookers Chelmford rather than expect myself to manage this suggestion on customer experience improvements.
Once again it is not a complaint but a response to the email received from Ford's requesting feedback.

Work was completed but it is the first time that I have collected a car and it has not been washed. Disappointing given the high cost of having work done at the dealership

It is always a pleasure to deal with Richard Marsh. Very professional and courteous. The Car's MOT was carried out again with the minimum of fuss while I waited.

The sales executive was very helpful from the initial purchase of the new car to the handover. All my questions were answered and he spent time making sure I understood all of the features of the new car.

Quick service, costs covered with monthly payment plan do nothing to playboy the day.
