From the moment I picked up the phone to discuss potential purchase of a Discovery, Lookers were very responsive and helpful. Steve Reynolds the Salesman I dealt with was very professional, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. A very easy purchase and with a competitive price on my trade in. I love my new car!!!

Three vehicle health checks and an MOT completely missed badly corroded brake pipes that eventually failed and brake fluid ran out and onto the road.

One vehicle health check revealed a dangerous rear tyre, but despite asking for it to be swapped over, they still sent my wife home in an unsafe car. The subsequent health check also missed the dangerous tyre.

Great to deal with Lookers Buckinghamshire. All of the staff were fantastic - efficient and swift with fair pricing on both the purchase and the sale of my old car.

Possibly the worst customer service I have ever received. My vehicle still has issues, and now no one is responding to emails, or phone calls.

We had excellent help and service from Denis in the Sales Dept, who was first class from initial enquiry right through to our final purchase. In fact everyone we met at the location was extremely pleasant and the welcome from reception was delightful on our three visits.

I recently purchased a Land Rover Discovery and the service I received was excellent. Unfortunately, when I collected the vehicle there was a minor fault with the locking system. However, Chris Thompson dealt with it swiftly and professionally—he set me up with a courtesy car and had the issue resolved by the next morning.

These things happen, but it’s how they’re handled that really matters, and this team couldn’t have done any more. The Branch Director, Kirk, and Sales Manager, Dan, also took the time to introduce themselves, which was a great touch. Most importantly, Chris, who managed my purchase from start to finish, was superb.

So many dealerships—especially within JLR—fall short, but this team (especially Chris) exceeded expectations. I’ll definitely be using them again in the future. Thank you!

Our experience with the purchase of my partner’s Defender 90 began with a few minor issues after delivery. However, after some initial communication problems, we were reassured by the professionalism and responsiveness of Micheal and the service technicians. From the outset, their dedication to customer satisfaction was clear. They addressed our concerns promptly and provided a resolution that exceeded our expectations.

LR Defender - used. Without doubt one of the best buying experiences out of the 60 plus cars I have privately owned. Denis at Sales and Colin at Finance were impeccable ! Car was pretty much immaculate too.

Title: Poor Experience with Finance – Unprofessional and Misleading

I bought a Land Rover Discovery Sport in March 2022 and never missed a single payment in over 3.5 years. Recently, I saw a Range Rover Velar I was interested in upgrading to. However, I was told by Colin, the finance manager, that I had been refused finance – which didn’t make sense given my spotless payment history.

To double-check, I called the finance company myself. They confirmed there was no reason I shouldn’t be approved and advised that an appeal should be submitted. After a few days of no update, I rang Colin back and was bluntly told, “it’s a no and that’s it.”

I contacted the finance company again and spoke with an underwriter who confirmed that no appeal had ever been made. I later received an email – with no name or real explanation – just a couple of vague lines saying the finance was refused.

It became clear that Colin either couldn’t be bothered to go through the appeal process or didn’t know how. Less than a week later, I was approved for finance within 10 minutes at a different garage, with no issues whatsoever.

Really disappointing experience. If I’d taken their word for it, I would’ve missed out. Won’t be returning or recommending based on this unprofessional and lazy approach.

Very Disappointed – Poor Service and No Resolution

I'm extremely disappointed with the service I've received from Land Rover Services (Lookers). I've sent my car to them three times, and on two occasions, they provided a loan car — but only to ask for it back soon after, without actually fixing my car. They returned my vehicle in the same faulty condition simply because the loan car was due back.

This clearly shows a lack of care for resolving issues properly. The team seemed more focused on managing their loan car fleet than on actually repairing the cars they're entrusted with. Total waste of time.

I raised a formal complaint, but unfortunately, that process is just as ineffective. No one followed up, no resolution, and no accountability. It's clear that Lookers’ complaint system doesn't work.

Despite selling prestigious brands like Land Rover and Range Rover, they clearly don’t know how to fix them, nor do they seem interested in doing so. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend their services to anyone.

Nick did a great job of ensuring all of our expectations were met with room to spare. He is knowledgeable and not pushy. I would highly recommend him and the dealership to anyone considering purchasing a Land Rover or one of its brands.

The garage could not have been more helpful Steve Reynolds was great at keeping in touch and nothing was a problem. Also the after care has been excellent. I would highly recommend
