Brett made a potentially difficult trade in so easy. I was trading in my mum’s former motability vehicle. This was something I was dreading since she passed away. Brett made the transition easy and was so personable he put my concerns to the back of my mind and made the transition a more enjoyable experience.

I have recurrent issue with hybrid…been told a battery replaced less than 1 year old is defect, why should I pay for it and not manufacturer or Nissan/Looker?
I have recurrent issue with hybrid battery, which I already changed for a new one last year. In the initial diagnostics investigation, I hear from Lookers that the new battery is defective and has to be changed, and for that I have to pay in excess of £1400.In my mind a battery that should last 10 years, why should I pay for new one when the battery was replaced less than one year. They do not feel responsible to find the issue why the battery failed in the first place and insist I have to pay the replacement of battery before further investigation. As Lookers changed the battery last time, why they don’t go after battery manufacturer to reimburse or provide new battery? Lookers called Nissan to check if they would cover costs, as car is now out of warranty, but Nissan do not feel either they have responsibility for the recurrent failure. I feel this is just poor customer service as I would expect part replaced by Lookers, would drive them to take ownership on this case. Lookers told me categorically that they will NOT contact battery manufacturing…out of there scope…sorry this not good service! It feel like I will have to buy a battery every year, do not know why this is failing repetitively as they say they will not investigate further until I commit to pay for a new battery!

My review of Lookers Nissan Chester would not be as detailed as many others because I have tried to contact them regarding buying a car but it seems the sales department have forgotten how to answer the telephone ! I did email an enquiry and eventually I did get a call back but I am still waiting for the follow up that I was told to expect? I tried calling again a few minutes ago and still no answer, they should rename this dealership the “ Marie Celeste” I’ll go elsewhere clearly they don’t need my business!

Awful car and sales experience
Car was Sold with a broken key and an unsafe tyre. Broke down within weeks. Took 4 weeks to fix, asked about a complimentary warranty as car had 3 issues within as many weeks to be told no you can buy it instead. If Nissan are so confident in their cars this wouldn’t be an issue. Terrible customer service from sales. 1 star is due to the lovely service team who were great. Would NEVER buy a Nissan again and would never recommend it. Feel trapped and mis-sold.

Excellent communication very efficient car ready to drive away on 3rd day of reserving, very helpful and friendly. Customer service was great from Sam Jones at Chester all paperwork via email within 2 days completed and explained everything I needed to do. Highly recommend lookers Nissan, I now own a fantastic new car. 😃

Surpassed expectations
Following a previously unpleasant experience with a different lookers branch, i was concerned, however this branch have been fantastic so far. Kept me upto date with progress consistently. Very polite and Simon has been a great point of contact within branch. I am still awaiting parts to be delivered to complete the work on my car. So I'll nip back with a full review when the work is completed. But upto now, great service
