So they might get good reviews selling brand new Nissans, but they are absolutely incompetent at selling used BMWs.
I’ve had multiple ongoing issues since purchasing the car almost 1 month ago. What I risky started as a poor handover experience from Mas, to Paul getting involved who somehow managed to drop the ball multiple times with an even worse second handover. False promises made and nothing but verbal “yes we’ll sort it” but nothing ever being resolved.
My first handover I noticed the reverse camera was faulty, seat bent sensors did not work, alloys were scuffed as I had been told they would refurb these before pickup.they didn’t even clean the car!!!
So they got me a Nissan courtesy car and promised me they would rectify the issues and do a full detail..
But they only resolved the reverse camera, seat belt sensor and nothing wise that I had complained about. The car was still loppy.. it was also returned with just 45% battery so they couldn’t even be bothered to charge it up!!
Below is the list of unresolved items:
Second Handover Issues – The state of the car at handover (including the battery not being charged) has still not been acknowledged. State of the car, poor valet. No apology or response has been provided.
Bump Stop Covers – These were perished and were not addressed.
FRUNK Inspection / 12V Battery – It is clear the 12V battery was not inspected, nor was an electrical condition report (CCA) completed. I previously sent photos demonstrating this.
Main Battery State of Health (SOH) – You have repeatedly stated you would obtain the SOH for the main battery. I have still not received this.
Full BMW Service History – The car was sold under the impression it had full BMW service history. The only documents in the vehicle are a single 2023 service sheet and a 2018 bodywork repair sheet. I’ve raised this several times with no progress.
GDPR Breach – I informed you that the previous owner’s phone number had been left in the car. You have not addressed this serious issue.
Warranty Pricing Error – You have now acknowledged that the 3‑year warranty was incorrectly priced at £999. You stated that you and Tom would cover the cost difference.
No sales Invoice - No invoice received, Paul mentioned the Finance system has been down?
I think they should changer the L to an F on the lookers sign.
This is by far the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had, and my standards are low.
In my opinion avoid this place at all costs, all they do is string you along.

Adi was extremly kind and friendly. The car he showed us was amazing. The experience was very interactive, and live compared to other companies. I feel more connected to the brand!

Absolutely outstanding experience at Lookers Nissan on Kirkstall Road, Leeds.
From start to finish, Makaza was an absolute pleasure to deal with. What an amazing young man — his attention to detail was spot on, nothing was too much trouble, and he made the whole process incredibly easy and stress-free. He’s professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about getting things right for the customer.
A big thank you as well to Paul, the Business Manager, who was equally helpful and supportive throughout. Everything was explained clearly, with no pressure and no nonsense — just good, honest business.
I would 100% recommend Lookers Nissan Kirkstall Road, and especially Makaza, to anyone looking for a smooth and positive car-buying experience. Top service all round.

Avoid Nissan Lookers Leeds at all costs – shocking customer service and zero accountability.
My van was taken to Nissan Leeds by Nissan Roadside Assist after the engine light came on and the vehicle lost power. Nissan Leeds claimed they had “diagnosed” the issue and said a loose battery terminal was the cause. I explained clearly that this would not trigger an engine light and an “anti-pollution system fault,” but I was told the light had gone off and the van was “fine to take.”
Within 7 miles, the exact same issue happened again – engine light, loss of power, and anti-pollution fault. Roadside Assist sent the RAC, who confirmed that Nissan Leeds had done nothing meaningful and had simply reset the codes.
When the van was taken back to Nissan Leeds, I received a call from Richard (Service Manager) stating the repair would not be covered under warranty because the van had not been serviced at Nissan dealerships – despite me providing full, regular service history from a qualified garage. Our fleet is serviced every 7k miles, and no other Nissan dealership has ever had an issue with this; in fact, Nissan Glasgow recently carried out warranty work without any problems.
Instead of taking responsibility for the repeat breakdown, I was told I must pay £185 for another diagnosis, even though:
The first “diagnosis” was clearly not done properly
The RAC/Nissan Roadside Assist confirmed an electrical fault
The van is still under warranty
The fault reappeared immediately after Nissan Leeds released the van
Communication was poor throughout, and it felt like every excuse was used to avoid honouring the warranty. The entire experience has been a complete shambles and shows a serious lack of customer care or honesty.
Nissan Leeds has delivered one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. I will be escalating this with Nissan UK, as this is not how a warranty customer should be treated.

Reserved a car with £250 deposit on Sunday 9th and was not contacted so rang them twice, to be advised that someone would get back to me later in the day as they were busy - but nobody did. Rang them again twice on 10th to arrange the deal and was advised someone else was dealing with that car. After 2 more calls they finally got back to me on the Tuesday 11th to say that due to a system issue the car was incorrectly priced. As a gesture of goodwill they would provide another offer via email (manager, Tom) but I never received one. I noticed that virtually identical cars were still advertised by them on Autotrader for the same price.
Have since rang 5 times to ask for my deposit back, and it's still not paid a week after it was taken. When I asked why I was told "we are the sales department, not accounts".
I bought my last car at Lookers Newcastle and my father's last 2 were at Lookers Darlington. Although due to this treatment I wont be considering using Lookers again.
Thank you for the generic reply (below) to appear that somebody cares. I would appreciate if you refund my deposit, as requested. Your error and inefficient systems should not be my problem.

This is a no star review.
Reserved a 2025 pre-reg Nissan Qashqai N-Connecta this morning for £250 as seemed a really good deal. Price quoted on Auto trader and Lookers website was £21349 with only 10 miles.
Had an email confirming it was reserved, and somebody would be in touch shortly.
No further contact from them, so I chased early afternoon, and spoke to Tomasz.
He advised that he'd need to call me back in 5 minutes.
He did and then advised that the car was mispriced due to an AI issue and that 8 or 9 other people has reserved the same car (not sure how that was possible as the car immediately came off sale once I'd paid the reservation fee).
He then proceeded to tell me a manager had authorised an 8k discount on a new Qashqai but only if I took it on finance. I advised him I'm a cash buyer and he said I could pay it off straight away.
I clearly wasn't going to pay 3.5k more for the same car, albeit 0 owners, so the order was cancelled and was advised I'd get my deposit back the same day, which obviously I won't as going to take at least 5 working days.
Very disappointing experience, and no real apology from them, or follow up calls or emails.
Will take my business elsewhere, and avoid this company in future.

Collected my new Nissan Juke Tekna Hybrid from Adi. Absolutely, perfect service. Would definitely recommend asking for Adi. If you are disabled worries paper work done and all questions answered couldn't be more helpful.

We decided to pay a little bit more and enjoy the benefits of buying from a main dealer. At Lookers Leeds, you could soon tell that the sales staff had a great deal of in-depth product knowledge and were used to letting the customer delve deeply into whatever they had foremost in mind. At no time did it seem that the staff were completely sales driven - they didn't want to sell me anything I didn't want to buy. Bravo.

Choosing Lookers (Leeds) for my Nissan Juke was an overall excellent experience.
Tomas was super helpful & knowledgeable about the car I was interested in from the initial phone contact through to collection day.
I'd happily recommend Lookers for anyone considering purchasing a Nissan vehicle.

Misleading Sale, Botched Paintwork, and Dismissive Aftercare
I purchased a Hyundai Kona Iron Man Edition from Lookers Leeds with only 10,000 miles on the clock. It was sold with no mention of prior bodywork. After delivery, I discovered severe, mismatched paintwork—described by an independent specialist as the worst they’d seen, with a £2,500 quote to correct it.
Lookers offered just £250 to cover the damage. I’ve spent over a month chasing missing items (second key, service book, warranty) and dealing with slow, dismissive responses. The emotional toll, wasted time, and breach of trust have been exhausting.
I chose this car for its rarity and expressive design. Instead, I’ve been left with a damaged product and no meaningful resolution. I do not recommend Lookers to anyone seeking transparency, accountability, or professional aftercare.

From being welcomed when we stepped in through the door, to finally picking up the new car, we have had an excellent experience. Me and my wife visited with a view to part-exchanging for a vehicle very similar in value to our current car. Whilst we were satisfied with the price they offered for our car, we felt that the price of the car we were interested in was listed too high (over £1000 more than what they were willing to give for ours, despite WeBuyAnyCar and others valuing the cars only a couple of hundred pounds apart).
We felt we were well within reason to try and negotiate a lower price. However, the salesman and his manager were unwilling to budge on their price and quickly became argumentative. They produced a website to show the average value of cars compared to the price they would put them on sale for (in a bid to convince us that their car was on sale for a good/reasonable value). But by doing this they inadvertently showed us that, if they were to buy our car, they would then list it for a much higher value than the one we were interested in! Whilst I appreciate that companies need to make profits, why on earth would we part exchange our car and £1200(!!!) cash for one that they were valuing lower and are clearly struggling to sell?!?
The salesman then began to constantly refer to my wife as "she", repeatedly saying "SHE needs to understand", before both the salesman and his manager walked away without even a simple thank you for our time or a handshake.
After 6 days I received a voicemail from a salesman at Lookers asking me to call back with a view to booking a test-drive on the vehicle. Naturally, I assumed they were now willing to negotiate on the price so I was willing to give them a second chance. When I called back they were busy, but I was assured they would return my call. Hours passed without anything, so I called again, only to be told they were busy with other customers but would ring me back once they had finished. However, they never returned my call, even though the car in question is still on sale. What was the point in ringing me in the first place?
As someone who worked in customer service for over a decade, I am absolutely astounded at the rudeness and lack of courtesy displayed by this company. It is almost as though they don't want your business!

We recently bought a car from lookers Nissan Leeds a NISSAN QASHQAI 1.3 DiG-T MH 158 Tekna 5dr Xtronic 22 plate on 25.07.25, silly us we had a dash cam fitted which we paid £349.00 for,we could have bought this ourselves for about £60, it won't connect to your phone,we also could have gone to halfords and had one fitted for just over £300 a top model, we emailed Dan Cole about this issue and spoke to Paul we've had no reply at all, altho the car is good,we feel customer after sales is very poor, it's probably cause we bought a 2nd hand car not new,i will never buy from Lookers Nissan leeds again,Mr oxley

My car had its first service and I waited whilst it was done. It all worked very well. I was greeted warmly by the lovely receptionist, provided with drinks in the waiting area. One of the sales team advised me how to get the best out of my epower qashqai which was very helpful. I also received updates by email about the progress of the service. It took less than 2 hours and my car had been washed and vacuumed which was greatly appreciated. The whole team were pleasant, helpful and attentive.
