Great service and pleasant attitude

I service my Mercedes every year at this Shrewsbury Mercedes Garage. I have no complaints over the last 10 years over the quality of service here.
The added attraction had been the care they have shown in bringing my car back to me after service in pristine condition.
Alas, I was disappointed for once as the car was returned washed and cleaned but not spotless inside and outside leaving cobwebs surrounding the mirrors and the car boot was not even touched, doors not properly vacuum cleaned, after having emptied my car to allow the cleaner for their ease of work! I am disappointed!

Outstanding service. Customer service at Shrewsbury is superb. Advised clearly on what was required and given options of payment options which saved us a considerable amount of money.
Video that was sent to me prior to collecting my vehicle was clear, succinct and very helpful. Everything that was carried out, I felt happy with. Genuine parts fitted, felt the garage was trustworthy in every aspect of the service and MOT. Have booked again for next year already.

I went to buy a Range Rover from this dealership and from the time I walked into the showroom I was ignored by the sales team even though they weren’t busy. After looking at a few models I stood around waiting for a sales person and eventually I decided to sit down and wait whilst a few of the sales team were sat around talking with each other . Eventually one was walking past and asked if I was okay this was about 40 minutes after I had arrived. I told him I was interested in buying a Range Rover so he said someone would be with me soon and sent this very pleasant young lady to deal with my query whilst all the guys in suits were just sitting around chatting . Granted I want dressed in a suit so maybe I didn’t look like the kind of person who could afford to buy a new Range Rover but non the less I was still a potential customer. The young lady started to go through the finance deals when I told her I would be paying cash . Long story short I did end up buying the car and when I went to pick it up the handover was a very nice experience the way it was done . I wouldn’t recommend this dealership and I wouldn’t ever go back there .

Nightmare experience. After a very small accident in September 2024 ( I was not at fault) I contacted our local Mercedes main agents , Lookers in Shrewsbury, for a repair estimate as my car was still under guarantee. They told us "we will sort it all out for you" as they had people who could deal with it all on our behalf. These people turned out to be an Accident management company called AX . A very long and stressful process then ensued for my wife and I resulting in a tedious legal battle between ourselves and the insurance company ( AA) who refused to pay AX's inflated costs . I had to attend two court cases having first to wade through two bundles of legal documents weighing 1.2 kgs each time ! All this for a very small "no fault" accident and if this is Mercedes's way of "sorting it all out" its best to handle it yourself and deal directly with your own insurance company.
