Due to unforeseen circumstances, 5 weeks after part exchanging our vehicle for a newer model,we unfortunately found that the vehicle was not for us,and arranged to view and subsequently changed to a newer model.
Throughout both transactions we dealt with Aron Harvey,who guided us through all the usual paraphernalia associated with purchasing a vehicle,explaining everything so very clearly.
We are now entirely happy with this vehicle and would like to extend our sincere thanks to Aron for the service he afforded us.

Purchased a used Toyota with the help of Josh in sales. Non pushy but helpful in all ways and went out of his way to make you happy and not just a number. Definitely recommend.

Put my car in on the 17thjuly to get an IT issue sorted , picked the car up the next morning , seen a large scratch above the wheel arch spoked to person on service desk after taking photos and measurements , i was assured that the service manager David Bailiss would call me back to organise repairs .
after leaving several messages for i cant be bothered David.. i have still not received a call..i have been in touch with head office so hopefully things will progress.
be aware if similar happens to you , don't expect a call

Excellent from start
Extremely efficient and professional

I recently bought a vehicle and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Stephanie was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and guided me through everything step by step and made the experience completely stress free.

She also arranged for the van to be delivered which was a huge help and made everything so much more convenient. Her communication, professionalism and friendly attitude were outstanding and nothing was ever too much trouble, she is a credit to the team!

The sales Manager Matthew is a top man and although I was not happy at the start with the car I bought he has done everything in his power to rectify all issues. I recommend this dealership. I didn’t even buy a ford from them which is even more credible. Thanks Matt.

Not happy with the service and the outcome

I have always had a great customer experience at Lookers Ford in Chelmsford. I have just changed my car with them again and as always, I had great help and support from them. James Holden kept me updated on the progress of my vehicle and all communication with him was excellent.

Appalling customer service.
Our Nissan went in to have an AdBlue issue looked at. We were told at the time of booking not to worry; if we couldn't drive away, they'd sort us out a courtesy car, which is pretty normal but important for us because we're not local. I pressed and was told this couldn't be arranged in advance. Ok.
On the day, it wasn't possible to drive away and disaster - they've got no courtesy cars. They have to be booked in advance! And should only be available if you're car's in warranty? Not what they said on the phone. They were looking into it, they said. But they did not. The staff went home and left my wife and 3 young children abandoned outside a closed garage to travel over 200 miles home with low phone battery. Much stress and cost later, we get them home.
Every day from then we were promised a call back; our team are looking into a temporary vehicle for you, they said. Weeks have passed and we have nothing, with still over 3 weeks until the car is due to be repaired. I contacted central Nissan customer service, who passed me back to the garage.
You try to call and can only get a receptionist who has to email the servicing team to ask them to call you. I've explained many times the difficult position they have left us in and they do not care.
The customer service has been appalling and shameful, with no-one seeming to take ownership of the issue or even apologise for the damage their misinformation has caused. I've since heard from others, even many miles away, that their reputation for terrible care is widely known, which I wish I had known from the start.
We are so out of pocket and stressed, and a family holiday is on the brink of being ruined, and we still can't get a timely response from them; I would strongly advise against ever visiting this place.

Absolute joke of a dealership. Rude, unhelpful, dismissive staff who are not interested at all. The vehicle was disabled tax class and I was not notified of. The vehicle was not registered in my name on the VW used warranty system, they left OBD errors on the vehicle. Chunks out of the tires. The 'in lieu' tyre inflation kit is out of date and I have been advised to not use this. There's intermittent faults with the air conditioning and heated seats. Impossible that they did their whatever point check. The branch needs investigating. It took nearly a week AFTER payment for the vehicle to even begin being dispatched. I have just had to pay out for vehicle diagnostics because there is faults with the vehicle. Absolutely disgraceful. Especially when the vehicle was 25k+ DO NOT purchase a vehicle from here. Even if the vehicle is in okay condition and by some miracle the staff at lookers blackburn actually did their job properly you will still get treated like dirt. I haven't even had the car for two weeks yet. No interest in trying to help out. They didn't even have interest whilst the deal was being closed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Great experience buying our new car, Kai looked after us and was brilliant throughout the whole process.

I recently part-exchanged my car for a new one and, although there have been a few wrinkles to iron-out, I'm pleased to say that Mercedes Tonbridge have looked after me and kept me updated throughout.
