Service department Receptionist was very polite and very good understanding of my vehicle.

Lookers were helpful and efficient, they listened to my requirements and gave me regular updates about the car's arrival.

professional , friendly and extremely helpful. Lewis came through with all I needed and wanted in a car. Overall very happy and satisfied with the whole experience and car . Think this will defo be my new car dealership to come too.

I've been using Lookers VW Battersea for a few years now and am very satisfied with the service. I'm always able to book an appointment that suits me, they are reliable, and also very honest. If I need to wait with my vehicle they have office space, wifi, and complimentary drinks so I am able to be productive even when out of the office.
I have similar VW service centres much closer to me, but am more than willing to travel across London as the service is great!

I recently bought a car from Lookers Battersea and dealt with Peter throughout.

I sent a lot of emails and asked plenty of questions. Replies weren’t always immediate, but he always came back to me with the information I needed and followed things through. He was respectful, professional and patient the whole way, which I appreciated.

On collection day he took the time to properly show me around the car, explained everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable before driving away. I left feeling happy and confident with my purchase.

Horrendous expensive experience. Bought a 2016 VW Polo GTI in 2019 from VW. Had it serviced with VW ever since and it has a complete VW service history. In December the car went into an emergency mode and would not go beyond second gear and max 20mph. Took the car into Lookers. They took it apart and said it needed a new gear box and cost would be £8k. They said I was free to get a second opinion but they would not put the car back into the state I brought it in i.e. it could not be driven (they charged me £180 for this). I had to arrange a low loader to pick up my car (another £120) and take it to another garage who were amazed at Lookers behaviour (leaving my car in a state where it could not be driven). They looked over the car and said it would cost £650 to put it back into the state it was in before I took it to Lookers. So now I have my car back in the same emergency mode but £900 worse off. Crazy. My car was bought from VW and serviced its entire life by VW and it now does not work due to a VW technical error. To add insult to injury the last thing VW said to me was 'you could just scrap it'. The car was worth £14,500 before this happened....

I purchased an approved used Velar (23plate) groom lookers and the whole process was seamless! Rob the sales manager did an amazing job for me. Super happy customer and very pleased with the car.

Sold a car that could have killed me and my children. VW have confirmed the fault was there before I was sold the car. They knowingly let me drive away in it at 35 weeks pregnant. Knowing I’m about to give birth and that this has caused stress and impacted me financially, they don’t care to let my local VW fix the issues but want it back as it’s cheaper for them. They will ‘check the tyres and brake pads’. Checking isn’t good enough when my local dealer have confirmed brake pads and tyre needs fixing. This is in addition to the mechatronics failure.

DO NOT deal with Lookers in Battersea. They sold us a car with known faults. Too complex to go in to detail. Now they are not returning calls.
Faults like Emergency Gearbox , Not starting, Tyre not passing MOT standards. Thousands of pounds of faults.

Lookers have now refused to fund the repairs that are required.

VW Warranty have refused to pay for the Warranty work as Lookers knew of the faults before we bought the vehicle.

This is my second time to purchase from Lookers Battersea in the last 5 years.

Jack offered a smooth transition for the part exchange of my original VW Polo and the purchase of a used TCROSS.

As a single female, purchasing cars alone is a big decision and requires trust in the dealership.

I would not hesitate to recommend Jack and Maurice at Lookers and don’t doubt I will return in the future.

I was very impressed with the customer service I received from Lewis at Battersea Volkswagen. He was extremely patient and understanding, especially as I went on holiday and wasn’t able to finalise my car choice straight away. The entire process of sorting out the car was smooth and stress-free, with Lewis providing plenty of helpful information and being very hands-on throughout.

I’d also like to mention the receptionist at Battersea Volkswagen, who was absolutely lovely..unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name. Overall, I’m very happy with both my purchase and the excellent experience I had.

I booked in for a diagnostics test, and was greeted by Rachel on arrival. She looked at the problems we had listed, and solved them herself immediately. No need for diagnotics, and we were not charged anything. Absolutely amazing. She then took our keys and replaced the batteries in them for free. This was a terrific service, and both Rachel and Jay were not only friendly, but extremely helpful. I will definitely return to Lookers Service centre for any future problems.
