I ordered EC63 engineered oak boards. Before placing my order I specifically asked Kevin whether the packs contained split boards and was told that each pack had two split boards. When I opened the packs - no split boards. Contacted Kevin who told me that on average there were two split boards per pack and that I could cut the boards in half if I wanted to and manufacture the tongue and grooves on the cut ends with a router! The ends of the board ARE NOT microbevelled. The plywood is not high quality and some of the T&G needed refining to get the boards to fit properly. The oak veneer itself is fine. I had to use this lot because they were the only suppliers I could find who had 15mm boards. They are no cheaper than the good suppliers.

We ordered 65sqm of wood flooring and underlay from Made of Wood Ltd. Kevin was a great help throughout the process, assisting with choosing the perfect wood flooring, answering any queries we had and ensuring a fast delivery time. Would definetly recommend.

Please avoid this company. I ordered around £1,500 of engineered wood flooring from this company last October. I placed an order for tongue-and-groove wood that was to be glued together, however they phoned and instead offered a product not listed on their website - an engineered click oak. I accepted this as I was new to flooring and thought this would be fine.
The problems started almost immediately with this company. They sent out the delivery which continuously arrived damaged - it took three deliveries to get the full order intact. I measured the millimetres of veneer on the wood, which was inconsistent and less than the advertised amount. Again, I just decided that it would be okay as I wanted to move on with the project.
We read the installation instructions and followed them to a tee - we had the floors professionally levelled, subfloors installed, etc. The first floorer said the product was some of the worst he’d seen - bad quality, cheap stuff. Again, not listed on their website. The second floorer fitted it but again said it was bad quality. Less than one year later, the entire floor has failed and is being replaced. Thousands of pounds down.
I tried engaging with the company with photos of the millimetres not being as advertised and the floor failing, but they just passive-aggressively sent me the installation instructions as if I hadn’t read them and also had the floor professionally installed. This is a disgusting scam company that has ripped me off, sold me an inferior product to the one I thought I was getting, and has been evasive and rude at every turn. Please avoid.

Made Of Wood have excellent products. I’ve purchased solid oak parquet flooring from Made Of Wood twice now and I’ve never been disappointed with the quality of the product and the customer service.
The team have always been available for advice and support whenever I’ve needed it.

Made Of Wood had the perfect solution to what I needed to fill in some shrinkage gaps on an oak table made by my late farther. Even though the original purpose of their oak strips wasn't what I used them for they "filled the gap" perfectly. Delivery was quick and the strips were very securely packed, and also at a far lower cost than some of the competition. The wooden tower toy is a gift an again is perfect.
I'll certainly be using "MoW" again when I need something they stock.
