Our busy auctioneering practice is without internet connection for over two weeks now. Our staff have resorted to working from home and the doors of our office are closed. As company director, I cannot express my frustration at the position that we have been left in at the hands of your company. I wonder if I will be afforded the manners of a return phone call tomorrow to finally get a resolve to this nightmare.
Reading some of the reviews you couldn't blame people questioning this company, however after dealing with them today i couldn't recommend them highly enough, we had a problem and service was suspended, totally our fault but they went above and beyond to get the service up and running again for our elderly parents, Eileen in Accounts couldn't have been more helpful and it was such a pleasure to deal with someone who cares and went above and behond her job to get things sorted for us , for this we applaud you and sometimes you just have to be nice to someone on the end of the phone and explain your case instead of giving them abuse , they will try to do their best and that she did so thank you very much , Also a little mention to Philip in Technical support who explained everything to us when under pressure to a global outage from Microsoft and must have neen having a stressful day , so thank you Magnet you should be very proud how your staff helped us today .
Would be no stars if available. Was with this company for at least 10 years and had few problems, always dealt with speedily and professionaly. However over the last 12 months the service has been abysmal leading to me having to cancel my contract after I had no phone for 3 weeks and no sign of it being fixed. They continued to bill me and I now have a third party contacting me for non payment of a service I didn’t have. Grrrr!!
To say bad customer service and not giving a ... about customers is like to say nothing.
They kept cancelling the installation for the third time.
Joke, not a company.
I pay 60 EUR a month when i signed up with them i emphasized the importance of fast internet and that i want the premium version as i work from home and cannot afford slow internet due to business meetings, etc. The internet constantly keeps dropping, sometimes it doesn't work at all. When i called them they told me that the maximum speed my broadband has is 18 MB but when i do a speed test i mostly get 5 MB. Also it dropped during a simple zoom meeting or when i stream something on you tube the internet does not even work in my bedroom. All i was told is that i should get an extender, completely disregarding the fact that i have told them several times that i am sitting directly next to the router or using a wlan cable! I actually ended up using the data on my phone a lot of times as it is faster and more reliable.
It's 4 stars for a reason they don't upgrade my broadband speed in my location for the last 5 years. It looks they are behind the competition hence I'm looking for a replacement for a different provider. However, their customer service is second to none, never had serious issues with my broadband for the last 5 + years and this is something you won't see very often. For the moment I need a speed up to 21st century and magnet is too slow for me so I keep looking for anything that can match magnet quality and provide with better speed.
Very bad customer service, very unclear billing methods. Very expensive and not in line with other operator prices. Terrible experience, magnet even bills you once they have ceased providing services! Watch out people!
It doesn’t deserve any star at all.
Trying to set up a second account with them for the past week, extremely poor customer service, all the called back that I was promised we’re never returned, staff on annual leave without out of office email set up so you can stop talking to the walls, extremely poor professionalism and transparency.
Will cancel my account and will use another provider to set up the two accounts that I’m looking for.
For the sake of a fiver or tener extra, please avoid and look elsewhere.
The worse people that you can deal with
Very large amounts of down time.
Inconsistent line speed.
Slow customer service.
All round bad to deal with.
These guys are just an absolute horror and nothing but pain to deal with.
I tried to get a connection setup almost two months ago now, and I'm still waiting..
Their technician takes about two and a half week... and if you're lucky, he may even show up on the first scheduled time! - in my case, though, I had to wait for two and a half week twice, before he showed up, an even then, he was unable to get me up and running..
another thing is their sales team - omg, I cannot even describe them...
don't EVER expect to get a callback from them...
I've lost count, but at leats 8 or 9 times, I've called to their dedicated sales line, ended up with their technical support team, who can't do anything about the sales stuff) and been informed that someone from their sales team will call be back...
I wait.. a day, two, or three..... call again, being informed by the soulless auto voice that it's a dedicated sales line... I'm again with a tech dude, who can only tell me that he'd have the sales guys to call me back.. and they never do...
from mid september, now into november, I've spent hours calling, and never gotten one person that could actually do anything..
If you're looking for a new internet connection, do NOT pick these guys...
what you'll get is:
- No internet
- No callbacks
- A lot of broken promises
- No help
- All the time in the world waiting, with nothing happening.
really, I've been so patient for so long... but even I have ended up spashing my fist in the wall, door and metal p*le in frustration from talking to their absolutely useless people..
