I would give 0 stars if that would be possible.

They force auto-renew on all subscriptions, you can't avoid it.

You can't cancel your subscription without contacting them. When I did that, I didn't receive reply before they charged my credit card. When I informed them that I cancelled on time and want them to refund, they just said that "we can't refund you". Really?

I think this kind of business is illegal in the EU where I live. The customer must not be forced to remain a customer.

And when it comes to magazine selection, it has become worse during the last year.

Stay away from them...

The selection of content is great and the price is unbeatable but the support is really good with really fast turn-around and excellent results.

It’s a phenomenal app, you need extra time in your days to enjoy the multiple magazines they have, the app never fails or has any trouble, they are super clearly with the payments and customer service it’s very fast, congratulations and many more years of digital life! Love it!

Impossible to get refund after scrolling through their site and suddenly found i had a bill for 149 kroner for a months subscription! I did not sign up to anything and although i cancelled straight away.they continually wrigle out of returning the payment. Is this what they call a scam? Give me back the money! Beware of this unserious company, They will take your money and run.

As of this writing on September 2025, Magzter has proven to be an amazing digital service with great selection and prices and beyond that they have a fantastic costumer service. Highest recommendation!!!

Stay away you can't cancel the subscription via their website, asks you to contact customer service. Did that many times and was ignored, the only time someone replied to say they will only cancel once they know my reason. Told them countless times I don't want the subscription and can't afford it but still no-one has cancelled it. I will be contacting action fraud here in the UK to report them and also see now if my bank can block them. Don't use it is a scam.

Magzter has a pretty good collection of news and magazines covering a broad spectrum of topics. The android app is pretty user friendly.
Additionally, the customer support team is very supportive of their user base.
