Everything they talk about makes perfect sense!

They really care about helping my marriage. On Wednesday January 31 I had my 1st 55 minute counseling session with Jamie. I am convinced that they can help me be a better husband. They have so many ways to help my marriage from the 3 day workshops to one on one counseling to a variety of videos that deal with pies, the art of attraction,pushes and pulls,etc. And I am excited to begin this journey to a great marriage I pray.

The content about communication and understanding each other was fantastic! I appreciated the clinical approach to marriage problems, no one was judging or taking sides, and respect was shown to every participant.

The speaker went on and on - past times for breakouts. So we had limited times for breaks, lunch, to talk as a couple, do the work.

The assistant speakers tuck to the scripts and schedule.

The main speaker used such graphic examples, and could not stick to the point.

Service was good. Unfortunately divorce went through.

While I’ve given 2 stars, I do respect this company and their mission, the rating is based off of their services applied to my particular situation.

My spouse and I had a monthly subscription and we also attended their weekend seminar, so I will speak to those.

Firstly, the information they share is presented in a clear and concise manner that’s easy to understand. There’s lots of valuable information that’s applicable to many marital situations.

In addition, the information they provide to concentrate on yourself, to help heal and become a better person, is very useful. They make some difficult concepts easy to grasp and understand.

So why the lower star review?

Because their information didn’t really align with the situation my marriage is in. I also didn’t find much information on how to deal with the tactics of the person that has betrayed you.

They deal mostly with limerence when talking about affairs, so if you’re in another situation like a serial cheater, there isn’t much information to help with that. They even admit serial cheating is more difficult to deal with in some of their videos, but never come back to it or try to help with that. I’d say it’s 98% limerence.

They also don’t provide much help or information how to deal with the lying, gaslighting, blame shifting and anger from the unfaithful. Those things are some of the most painful things during this experience and it’s not covered much at all how to deal with it, just kind of roll with it and take the pain. That’s hard and very very painful to do.

While the strategies and tactics they have presented about being the best you have worked with me and I continue to do them, the info hasn’t helped my situation. :(

I hope the services do help others, they are sound, seem viable, and seem like they could work for some, if both spouses are willing to work on things together. At the very least they help you become a better version of yourself, even if your spouse isn’t into it.

The entire experience was awesome! Everyone is made to feel at ease, no pressure at any time to share more than you wanted to or get put on the spot. The tools and materials are going to be useful for life in interaction with your spouse.
Hearing the personal stories of the coaches, what they experienced was eye opening to both of us. Then having the resources to start mending the relationship and being open to listen to each other was very helpful.
The entire weekend was casual and laid-back style to put most everyone at ease in an otherwise stressful situation. I would highly recommend taking part in a workshop, because the experience is eye opening into the why of our behaviors, and how to change our behavior.

The workshop is jammed packed full of outstanding, practical, and tangible content. The staff was phenomenal. Left with hope.

Marriage Helper is great!
The program and staff offer compassion, encouragement and very practical guides on understanding oneself and one's spouse. The wide variety of online courses, support groups and coaching provide wonderful guidance.

Don't send these out so early. I haven't had enough time to evaluate ANYTHING in your program. Don't send these out until at a minimum of six weeks.

If I would have found this a year ago I would not be in the situation I’m in now. I have looked at other programs and books, this is the only one that addresses and explains how my marriage got here, and gave a roadmap to fix it. They were very upfront that this does not fix every marriage, but it does fix 70%. Although Dr Joe is a Christian, he nor his staff force it upon anyone. They also don’t tell you what to do, but offer all the information for us to decide what to do. I attended the solo workshop, and I hope I can get my husband to attend a couples workshop. During my intake call the person did not push at all, she gave me the information and told me she would send me an email and if I wanted to sign up please respond to her email. I now have hope and the best tool’s possible to save my marriage. I can not recommend this program enough! This is not a program out to get your money, this is a program the sincerely wants to help.

I am not continuing with this. My husband has zero interest in changing.

The program was great way to move forward as it was group coaching covering basics of different personalities and how they operate at baseline. So it helps the partners understand that if they are different, that’s ok and they need to put in work in any relationship-so doing it in current one makes sense, where you have history and likely children to pass legacy of healthy marriage life to!

These people are in depth. They explain things well. They understand the process of things. How it got to the point of problems. They have said things that made me think that my spouse was saying them because she has said them. Awesome program.

The content was amazing and I felt very comfortable. I loved learning about the different personality types and how everything within the workshop and the content provided eventually connected! It was all very eye-opening. I would honestly recommend this to anyone, whether they feel that they are having marital issues or not. THANK YOU!

Marriage helper has an amazing amount of information that helps one to work on yourself and your relationships. Knowing all you have taught me has given me more confidence to stand for what I believe in.
