Service from first contact to handover was first class. Luke managed the whole process, following my initial call Luke sent me a comprehensive unique video of the vehicle, I then visited the site for a test drive which was all set up ready for when I arrived. There was no pressure selling or rushing of the process, just quality customer service. The vehicle itself was in superb condition and fully valeted and well presented, a couple of minor blemishes were dealt with before I collected. Plenty of time was set aside for the handover which was straightforward. The whole experience was comfortable and enjoyable, exactly as it should be. Can’t recommend MB SW online and Luke enough.

Could not fault the entire experience. The car was ready for inspection on arrival at the dealership and I was able to have a thorough test drive. The sales team were very informative and any queries were answered clearly. There were a couple of minor details to be addressed and a new MOT was planned. When I returned to collect the car all was in order and it was presented in excellent order. A really professional operation.

I was looking for a particular aged red model of a GLB, not so many around the Country it turns out but when I saw this one, I called Alex, he filmed the car for me including any imperfections. We then had a very honest chat about it, I had to be sure he was being transparent as he was in effect my eyes. I paid a refundable deposit. Alex waited for me to sell my car, go on a short holiday & then train it down to Exeter for collection. It was straightforward with Alex no silly sales flannel, the messing about was me & busy life! One further comment, I saw the car on the Mercedes website under used cars but you then go through to an on line platform & actually collect from the BYD show room in Exeter, all totally legitimate but it’s confusing.

My third time buying a car from Mercedes Benz South West. As always the staff were very helpful, and communications are very clear. The timing of my purchase was important to me and that was understood and respected. The quality of the cars is very high.

A very pleasant experience supported by Alex Watson and Leigh when buying my C300. Their customer service and detailed knowledge made the process from initial enquiry, test drive, to collection incredibly smooth and easy.

Outstanding experience using Mercedes South West for the second time around! It was an absolute pleasure dealing with the team for the purchase of our brand new GLC 43 and part exchange of our old car. Fin and Georgia were fantastic from start to finish, especially as we are over 150 miles away from Exeter. The car even arrived earlier than expected, and on delivery day, Doug made the exchange seamless. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Mercedes South West again. Highly recommended!

I responded to an AutoTrader listing from Mercedes, but that’s not who I was dealing with which was instead another brand called Tangelo Cars. As soon as I received contact, there was a drive towards taking a deposit to “secure the car” as “there are many other enquiries”. The vehicle was not onsite when I paid my deposit. Tangelo struggled to confirm the location of the car for 5 days after I had paid a deposit. The vehicle needed work before I could collect, and was not ready until 11 days after I paid my deposit.
It took three different attempts to get accurate figures in the Mercedes finance paperwork, (unfortunate but always in Mercedes favour), I lost confidence in the Mercedes finance and quickly and easily found finance cheaper elsewhere which was accurate first time.
There was further pressure for me to pay for the car fully in advance of collection. Whilst I understand this makes collection quicker as Mercedes don’t have to wait for the money to arrive it did mean I felt obligated to take the car regardless of how I felt when I physically saw the car. I was not offered a test drive when I collected the car. I collected the car as arranged from another site that is not Mercedes branded and is instead a separate brand called Tangelo, which is not an official Mercedes centre.
Within 7 days I contacted Mercedes via Tangelo to note that the vehicle I had purchased did not meet my needs and I would like to return it. I was advised this was not possible. I enquired if 14 distance selling arrangements applied and was advised that they did not.
Mercedes, via Tangelo, offered to “help me out” by buying the car back from me, this was at a price £9000 below what I had paid 7 days before, which was just too greedy in my opinion.

My advice to potential customers of Mercedes South West is:
Check that any vehicle is genuinely comparably priced to the market.
Satisfy yourself on doing business with Tangelo on behalf of Mercedes South West.
Check the finance rates to satisfy yourself they are competitive.
Check any finance paperwork thoroughly, then double check, then check again.
Only drive away if you are totally satisfied with the vehicle, and after a test drive.
Only pay deposit or in full when you are completely happy.
If you find yourself unhappy after buying a vehicle, you may find achieving satisfaction difficult.

I own a chauffeur company in London and recently purchased a V- class from your branch in the South West. Vehicle was £65,000 and fully paid upfront. Now surely at that price you would not expect anything but the best from Mercedes; this being the fourth i have purchased. The dealerships in London have a certain standard and I have become accustomed to that. Attached to this email is the photos of the interior of the vehicle I was sold. Now I have been informed by your representative that this is an "acceptable standard" in the SouthWest. If so, this is a disgrace to the brand name and I for one will be taking it up further with your head office, trading standards and all the other chauffeur platforms that I am on will also be hearing about this. My chauffeurs have been put out of work because the vehicle will not be onboarded onto a luxury platform that instructs us to only get vehicles directly from the showroom so as they are showroom standard. KR24 was NOT show room standard and that is the reason the vehicle will not be on boarded onto the platform. You are greatly inconveniencing me let alone costing us money every minute the vehicle is not serving the purpose it was purchased for.

This is the second time I've used MBSW and both times the experience was so easy had a look at the eqc premium plus and decided to order it picked it up a week ago and very pleased with it

Kaydee at Tangelo was excellent. Service was great, very happy customer.

Do not trust them especially when shopping online! They delivered my EQE to me. I did check the car but forgot to double check if the boot is opening/closing properly although I was concerned about it.
I realised the problem on 2nd day after having the car.
Emailed them but they replied saying the car is under warranty and take it to your nearest service centre!!! That's all I heard from them. They must have been certainly aware of the issue.
Do not trust them otherwise you will start loosing your time ( and of course money) because of their irresponsibility.

Very good experience having selected a car online which was a year old. I had always bought new before but this time bought a year old C.200 estate. I was a bit worried as I had not seen or driven the car before paying. The purchase went through very smoothly and efficiently with all paperwork thanks to Georgia, Finn and then Robbie who delivered the car on the day and time designated.
