I am so glad that I chose Mew the Movers as my removal company. From the cheerful courteous lady who answered the phone to the men who packed and moved me. The men came at the beginning of the Coronavirus outbreak and were prepared to wash their hands each day before starting work.
They were hard working, well organised, careful and friendly. Thanks to them moving was less stressful and nothing was damaged I can’t thank them enough and would highly recommend them.

We needed some help dismantling a heavy oversized table and reassembling it in a different room . I called and the following day at 9.00 Mew’s sent their two main Men who effortlessly did the move of the furniture - professional and thoughtful service

We used Mews as they had moved my sister the year before and she was very pleased with their service. They are prompt, polite and friendly when you communicate with them, nothing seems to be too much trouble, including 'oh my god, can you move us next week?' They arrived on time, and the two young chaps who actually shifted all our belongings were also polite, friendly and funny which made us feel so much more relaxed on what could have been a very stressful day. They worked hard and fast, bless them, and we couldn't believe how quickly, and carefully our mountain of boxes, furniture and bags disappeared into their lorry! As our sale and purchase are split, we are really looking forward to seeing them again for round two! Thank you, Mews, you truly are the Gentleman movers! :)

Brilliant service, made the whole experience of moving easy and stress free.

Oh John what a lot of lies you tell. You said it was first floor that was my original move, you really ought to listen, I had to find another apartment and what I said to you was that I didn’t know it was the top floor, it was three floors. I didn’t have one piece of flat pack furniture, there were three boxes, each with one piece of furniture in each, I gave your lovely men £20 for that. They did get me a box of Paracetamol which was very kind and at the most they are 32p. You shouldn’t tell lies £4.50p is exorbitant. I told you I had an invalid bed you replied no problem. I also wrote to the suppliers of the bed for instructions for you which were not used.That large tv was new, but I had two other small tv and never worked after they had been shoved into very small boxes with lots of other unsuitable packing accoutrements, Most removal firms wrap televisions in blankets. I didn’t have any white goods, my removals was reduced by two large fridges, a washer, and at least three sideboards and three large cupboards plus many boxes, and you hardly reduced the cost at all. I would have thought you would like to tell your young man that he had a personal problem to save an uncomfortable situation with your customers. I have proof of all this, you really should treat people with more respect. Your staff were very nice but should be trained better by you. Then to tell me that I was a trouble maker when I wrote to tell you of the things that were broken, you really ought to get some training in customer relations.

In December we moved from Bedfordshire to the Isle of Wight, due to a number of changes in the dates contracts were exchanged we lost our mainland removals and at short notice engaged Mew.
They did the packing for us and were waiting for us on the island while we waited for keys. Everyone was really helpful and worked hard, almost totally unpacked now and no breakages. Thank you and apologies for forgetting to pack the kettle....
