Stay away from MidWay
Stay away from MidWay! MidWay is a real low point in what are mostly excellent firearms and firearms accessory companies. MidWay failed to ship an order I made. After over 10 days of waiting, I emailed MidWay. MidWay offered absolutely no customer support to remediate their error. Instead, they referred me to their third party shipping insurance company telling me that I was lucky I purchased their shipping insurance and to wait another week, and then “file a claim” for the product. I have an FFL and spend about $30,000 annually on firearms, ammo and accessories. Thus, I have experience with a large variety of firearms related companies. The vast majority, such as Ruger, Henry, and Vortex, treat every customer like a member of the family and immediately resolve issues beyond normal expectations. I have also had other issues with the quality of products that MidWay has shipped to me in the past. I have had a few instances where the new product, when I received it, had obviously been an “open box” product or a return for major manufacturing defects that had been rebranded as new and shipped out again, especially the products they ship through AMAZON. MidWay’s inexcusably shoddy “customer service” is at the rock bottom of the many firearms, ammo and accessory companies I have done business with. STAY AWAY FROM MIDWAY!
Shipping via UPS results in slow service
Ordered an Air rifle on April 7 in the morning before business hours opened because the delivery date stated April 10 Delivery to Pennsylvania and I was hoping it would ship same day. The item did not ship that day but did ship the next day on April 8 and UPS set a delivery date of April 11. on April 9, UPS delayed the package delivery from April 11 to April 13 stating the trailer could not depart on time. Yesterday the package location was updated to received at my local hub and delivery would be today on April 13. I just got notification that the package is now delayed and will not be delivered today with no update to delivery date. On the same day (April 7), I ordered 2 items from 2 different merchants with free shipping. One via USPS and the other via UPS. The USPS came from Florida and the UPS came from Utah. Both to Pennsylvania. I recieved the UPS on Thursday and the USPS on Friday, April 9 and 10, respectively. Shipping from Earth City, MO to Pennsylvania is closer than both Florida and Utah but now will have taking 7 days or more (don't know yet) vs 2-3 days. So, Im thinking Midway's contract with UPS setup for lowest priority as this many delays for an order is very unusual. This is my first order ever with Midway USA. I order this here because the price was better. I believe Midway USA's estimated delivery times on there products are more than misleading but intentionally fabricated. I am sharing this so others can be on notice and level their expectations when ordering form Midway USA. I will not order from them again and will pay more elsewhere to avoid this level of frustration. I did read the reviews about Midway USA which were mixed on this topic. I rolled the dice and lost.

MidwayUSA is by far the only company I will go to for EDC, shooting sports, or anything related to firearms/ Ammo.
#1 They ship extremely quickly.
As soon as your order is put in, they create the label within 24 hours, and ship the next day or day after.
#2 Their customer service representatives are super helpful and easy to work with. Kari and Chris got back to me quickly, provided solutions to a problem that UPS had, and they were very forthcoming about next steps and what can be done.
#3 The variety they have in my opinion is the best you can get in the firearms/ Ammo space. Frangible ammo, defense ammo, ammo reloading, firearm parts and accessories, etc.
I will be a lifetime customer of theirs and I appreciate their entire team very much.

Midway plays a shipping game..
Midway plays a shipping game... will ship for free over a certain amount. ALL free shipments they sit on for days before providing to the shipper. Shippers have gotten smarter showing they are "waiting on the item". The reason I say they are playing a game is because Midway has a state of the art shipping warehouse facility. These items could be picked and shipped immediately and provide real customer value... instead they delay trying to get people to pay increased shipping (premium shipping). Also, NO military discount even though Larry claims to have served in the Airforce. There are other places to buy from and be treated more fairly.

This is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. Ordered almost $1k firearm from their website to be shipped to my local dealer. They claim they reached out ONCE, but my local dealer never heard from them. I emailed and called Midway MULTIPLE times with no response. They ended up canceling my order. What a bunch of dopes. Do not do business with Midway.
Midway USA is a company of crooks
DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE!!! I ordered January 2nd and I am one boarder state away from midwayusa (Missouri). Was supposed to be delivered the 9th, no delivery. Changed to the 10th, no delivery. Bounced all the way across my state and now shows no movement and its now the 14th. Contact midwayUSA and they offer NO SOLUTION saying its on me because it left their facility. Really? So quick to take my money but offer no help to get me my order. These guys are crooks, if they are veterans they are a disgrace to veterans and the shooting community. DO NOT BUY, I AM WARNING YOU NOW.

My order shipped was wrong, customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with because it doesn't exist! They respond with a BS chat bot with no answers. I'd give a better review to the Biden administration than MidwayUSA!
The worst customer service ever
I purchased products from MidwayUSA on 12/14/25 and they charged me for additional shipping insurance through a company named Extend and shipped the single package through UPS. I don't recall actually selecting this additional insurance but it appeared on the order details.
UPS reported package delivered on 12/18/25 at 7:40pm yet no package was delivered and no proof of delivery photo was provided (unusual)
12/19/25 I reported undelivered package to UPS and contacted MidwayUSA via email as well and Midway responded via email telling me to file a claim with Extend
I attempted to file a claim with Extend on 12/19/25 and was denied stating I needed to wait 5 days after delivery date to file
12/24/25 I attempted to file a claim and was denied stating I would need to cancel the claim with UPS before they could process the claim. No disclosures about this was provided during the claim process.
I finally was able to cancel the UPS claim on 1/2/26 and attempted to file the claim with Extend once again on 1/3/26 only to be told that they require a police report to be filed as they "confirmed" delivery on 12/18/25 and I needed to file a stolen property police report.
Filing a stolen property police report is illegal when I know for certain it wasn't stolen yet they insist it is their policy and cannot be waived.
MidwayUSA customer service staff yielded no help whatsoever stating I needed to resolve this with Extend. This morning, 1/4/26, I filed a dispute with my credit card company and began writing this complaint. MidwayUSA's neglect and casual avoidance in helping to resolve this issue is unacceptable for any business. ZERO response from upper management including Larry Potterfield and a couple of other executives and ZERO offers to escalate and resolve my concerns are a stark departure from the majority of merchants I work with. Very disappointed as I have been a customer for over 17 years.
Midway USA is not what they profess to be!
Midway USA is a scam. I recently purchased a high end thermal monocular that was advertised as only having cosmetic defects. Instead, the camera had a fatal flaw- the batteries would not hold a charge. I exchanged the unit, and had the exact same problem with the second unit. Obviously Midway does no quality control. They also do not stand behind what they say. I was told by Customer Service that I would be receiving a new unit, but I just got a call saying the only thing they could do is ship me a replacement battery. This is a hermetically sealed unit that is submersible, so suggesting the battery could be replaced by the customer in the field is ridiculous. Mr. Potterfield, your company does not live up to your feel good family national commercial that you present on TV. This is both my first, and my last, purchase from Midway USA.

I ordered something from a different company and for 2 weeks it didn't ship. I canceled my order and saw midway USA. I ordered it. It shipped almost immediately and I received it in just a couple of days. Amazing. Thank you Midway. Now its here for Christmas.
They Send Items that Have Been Returned and Missing Parts
I received 1/2 of my order today from UPS. I'm very disappointed to have either received an item that was previously returned, Viking Solutions Double Gong Target System Combo 10" Gongs with 2 Stands 3/8" AR500 Steel, or was opened by UPS and the Gongs, Chains, and instructions were taken from it. You can see where someone had cut the item box open (The UPS box didn't look opened), and retaped the item box shut. I tried to contact you, but I received a "technical error" when submitting the request. Your customer service hours suck for those of us who work jobs that call you during those hours.

I was finally able to reach someone at Midway USA I think his name was Thomas, and he treated me like crap. His tone was that I was lying about the item, and he refused to let me send photos showing the item had been returned to Midway USA with missing parts. He directed me to Extend, for my insurance. I will never buy from Midway USA again because of this. I guess "family-owned" these days means "screw the customer," at least for Midway USA.
Slow shipping
I have not had any issues with midway other than their shipping. Place an order and and it takes 12+ hrs until a shipping label is created. They then claim that it shipped but it takes another 24 hrs until ups receives the package. And yet they claim less than half an hour from order to the truck?
