Do not trust this company

Do not trust this company. I purchased a vehicle overseas for delivery stateside. My salesman missed adding an additional $500 rebate and I was assured it would be added on the final agreement. It was not. I was told don’t worry it will be put in and when I pick up the vehicle I should get a check for the $500. I didn’t. Going on 6+ months now being mislead and given promises they don’t intend to honor. Escalated it to the wecare management team and they basically told me I’m not owed anything and to kick rocks. Even though I have multiple emails and messages stating I should and will receive the additional $500. When I got stateside even though the car had been delivered 2 months prior to my arrival they said there was a recall and couldn’t release it to me. Finally said it had been taken care of a week later and to come get it. Had me come in, do all the paperwork and pay taxes and fees at the DMV. And then said oh actually it’s not ready you can’t take it. Effectively leaving me stranded without a vehicle for yet another week+. Said they’d deliver the vehicle once ready and then the day of delivery said we can’t deliver come get it. MAS said that once it’s in the dealerships hand it’s not their problem. But if these dealerships are approved MAS pickup locations and that’s how they are treating your customers your absolutely should care and do something about it. So I was making payments for 4 months without actually having the car in my possession and was stranded without a rental or any compensation when they wouldn't let me pick up the vehicle once stateside.

The company is a fraud

The company is a fraud. Purchased a car last year and have been given the run around about the sunroof not working. Went to the company they referred us to, and was told they couldn't fix it. Now we have to take the van back to MAS to see what they can do. Which will be nothing because they don't care.

Disastrous Experience with MAS

In November, I purchased a Jeep through Military AutoSource (MAS), but the car was delivered with warning lights on. I immediately reported the issue, emphasizing that this type of problem should not have been handled by the insurance but was a pre-delivery issue. The vehicle should have been delivered in perfect condition, without warning lights.
Additionally, the car was delivered with a battery that does not meet the standards for the auto stop-and-go system. This only adds to the overall disappointment. MAS promised to handle the issue, but instead, they passed it to customer service in Germany, who redirected it to Jeep in Naples, leaving me to deal with the situation myself.
What has been most frustrating is communicating with MAS management and sales representatives. I have spent over a month exchanging messages and phone calls, receiving promises but never a concrete plan to resolve the issue. All they do is delegate responsibility elsewhere, leaving the customer to handle everything.
Now I am forced to pay upfront for insurance reimbursements and a replacement rental car. My experience with MAS has been nothing short of disastrous: poor vehicle quality, inadequate customer service, and unsatisfactory management that fails to provide solutions and shifts all the responsibility onto the customer.
I strongly discourage other service members from purchasing through MAS. Organize your car purchase through other means, especially if you are deployed to Aviano or Naples. MAS overprices their vehicles and does not deliver the quality or service they claim.

By far the worst company I dealt with…

By far the worst company I dealt with In my 37 years active duty in the Navy. The company enjoys a special vendor status within the DoD and Exchange system, but takes advantage of military members.

I purchased a 2022 Ford F-150 from them while stationed in Germany. While the person who took my order in Germany was great, most of the process was handled by the team in New York. I have never been treated so poorly by a group as I was from them. They never answered the phone (always sent my calls to voicemail) and never returned them. They also never returned emails.

They took my $62k in June for a delivery in August. I didn’t get my vehicle until the end of Nov. Again, they could have made it much better by simply communicating with me, but they didn’t want to because they seemed to have known up front that Ford was behind schedule but they took my money and promised a delivery date of August anyway. More critically, I told them I was PCS’ing my family home in August and was counting on this vehicle to meet our needs when we settled in. Instead I had to buy a second vehicle in the US because I couldn’t get any information on my F-150 delivery plan. That second vehicle was never planned and would not have been purchased if MAS had delivered as contracted.

AVIOD Purchasing Vehicle at MAS!

Military Auto Source is the worst car dealership you will deal with. They have terrible customer service, non-transparency throughout the entire process and don’t care one way or another if they completely drop the ball and you are left with expenses, such as paying interest on your car loan for a car that isn’t delivered after more than 6 months and rental car fees because they keep telling you that the car will be delivered but string this story along at your expense.
Specifically the Naples Italy office is completely disorganized and nonresponsive to any problems you may have. I should have backed out of the deal after my first unacceptable encounter, where my vehicle sale was agreed upon and I made full payment through my bank. My sales agent ended up taking a 5 day weekend vacation in April after informing me that he would send a confirmation as soon as the bank wire went through. I waited 7 days before I heard anything from him all the while thinking the large sum of money went somewhere else. He also promised a delivery date which we never saw the daylight of along with assistance with helping us pay for a rental car should any slight delay occur, which also never occurred. After lodging a complaint within a company survey, his manager never bothered to even get involved and had the original sales person deal with it, which was where all the problems were stemming from to begin with. The regional manager took a back seat for the majority of the time were were having many issues with this company. They don’t care about the customer and they certainly don’t care about delivering anything that is promised on their website. In fact, in retrospect, I think it is really interesting that they post a sparking page of 5 star ratings that they obviously censored and curated themselves about Military Auto Source, and haven’t opened up any official site with true customer ratings.

If you are looking for car sales, do not go to Military Auto Source! They are scammers who will take your money and never deliver your vehicle. We had the worst experience with them, they care nothing for the customer – all they want is a swift sale and your money. You can get a better deal when you negotiate with a local dealership and you’ll get much better service and care. Save yourself a lot of stress and don’t trust them.

200+ Days Trying To Get Them To Honor An Order Agreement

I signed an order agreement and was promised Model Year 22 pricing for my order of a Model Year 23 Ford Maverick when the order banks opened and they have done everything they can to deny that fact. I have it in emails and in my order agreements. I completed the purchase to avoid losing the vehicle and I have been fighting them for a refund of that amount for 200+ days.

Don't believe anything they tell you.

A dysfunctional company taking advantage of military members

I had a disappointing experience with Military Auto Source. Despite being promised a vehicle pickup in May, it was delivered two months late. The lack of transparency and clear communication was frustrating, leaving me worried about the status of my car. Our delivery coordinator was consistently unavailable, making it difficult to get in touch. Whenever I contacted her it would go to voicemail or someone would tell me she was out of the office for the day. While requesting rental car coverage due to an overseas PCS, they initially declined, but after repeated requests, they agreed to cover $600. Frustrated by the uncertainty of delivery, I asked for coverage until the car arrived, leading them to agree to a full 30-day rental coverage. We ended up not using the rental as the closest one they could get us was a 2 hour drive away, even through there is a rental company in town. Although they eventually provided $600 compensation for the late delivery, it arrived a month after I got the car. The Sales Consultant was the sole bright spot, offering transparency and honesty. Unfortunately, due to the treatment from others in the company, I won't use and can’t recommend Military Auto Source again.
