What an awful experience. I had a lease which I legally terminated early with proper advisement and providing more than two months rent post evacuation - They had taken money from my account for 3 months AFTER end of lease agreement, which I did not monitor as I was dealing with my mother with dementia in another country. Upon noticing, I immediately contacted Minto for the refund and to cancel all future payments. Please note, NO ONE has gotten back to me, after multiple back and forth - The building manager never returns my calls - The Minto administration also has not returned my call. It has STOLEN my funds and is refusing to take accountability. It has been over two months and they are withholding over 5K of my funds. The building itself - "The Rockhill" has continuous issues of elevators, front door security -

Do not under any circumstances go on their website. They are a predatory tribal loan shark company. They take all your money EVERY paycheck. It would be more reasonable to get a loan from the Mob!

they are give me my first time load so I have be there for a year. I work so hard paid off few time. so they told me that I am become VIP. any can low rate and raise money. so they told me nothing are same and same no change rate and raise money. bs VIP ARE WORTHLESS! well you be accept them same rate and your limit amount $ that all... no choose your need for emergeny well I do. hope soon cut off this.

I ordered sunglasses, I tok wrong color and would like to cancel my order. I provid order number and they said was wrong, I also attached documentation of the order, they said they can't open it. But now they said, if I dont want the product I can return it to them but I have to pay fee and I have to send them order number plus attachment picture of order. I am disappointed about this!

As a former small business owner providing trade services for Minto Communities, particularly at Latitude Margaritaville in Florida, I feel compelled to share my experience with the hope that others—whether you are considering working for or living in this community—can be informed.

Over the last 24 months, I completed multiple jobs for this development. However, several times during that period, I faced delays in payment. One instance stretched over 8 weeks—right around the holidays, no less. Despite professionally and politely asking to be paid for the work I completed, including most of July and August, my requests were consistently ignored. I had to note, on multiple occasions, that continuing to pay for parts and labor without reimbursement was unsustainable.

Things became untenable by the end of one week, when I had to make the difficult decision to leave without notice, as it would have resulted in another set of unpaid jobs. Fast forward 2.5 weeks, and I was informed that I was placed on a “check hold,” meaning no payments could be processed. I wasn’t provided a list of what Minto intended to pay, nor could I get any response from their team.

This isn’t an isolated incident. I know of at least three other trade groups who had to leave for the same reasons—an inability to continue working without payment. Furthermore, Minto’s Supply Pro system has continued to issue deductions from payments for work that has been completed. In some cases, the deductions exceed the amount I would have been paid.

My goal in sharing this is to raise awareness of these issues. There are numerous worker complaints, which you can view here. It’s crucial for future workers and residents to know what they might encounter before committing to this community.

I will continue to update this issue as things unfold, but it’s time to bring these matters to light for everyone’s benefit. I am hoping that speaking out will bring about the changes needed to ensure that businesses and workers are treated fairly.

I had to get this loan as an emergency. I needed money now and fast. This company is great at communicating and providing what is necessary. YES this is a horrible way to get a loan because the payout is higher than what is expected, but they make that clear!! This is an emergency type of loan, and I would only recommend getting it if you KNOW you’re going to be able to pay it off ASAP. They also recommend this though! I do not think that they hide anything, it’s just something you have to clearly READ. I would definitely get another from them if I truly needed to.

Ordered a wallet from them for a Christmas gift. Everything went through as expected and then they contacted me a couple of days later to say they could not fulfil the order - they should not have taken the order in the first place. Will never order with them again.

PLEASE DON'T GET YOURSELF STUCK WITH THEM. In the beginning, I thought they were awesome but right after the 1 month period, I was unable to get them to do anything! Multiple trades people came to do the same work and the work is not up to standard. They just do patch up work and will say no to everything you ask. I'm usually not a complainer and I give multiple tries but it's been almost 2 years and they are still fixing items from my 1month form. Their trick is to drag the work as long as possible (using Covid as an excuse), do a horrible job (after months of waiting) and then they say that's all they are entitled to do. They will not admit their fault and find ways to get out of things. They are such a nightmare to work with.

If you do end up buying a home with them, put EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING on your 1 month form because you can always go back to that if the job isnt done correctly. Even if its' the smallest item, just put it on it. Even if its not an issue now, just write up all those nail pops and all those tiny items because by the time they come to see it, defects will occur. And keep a record of their communication.

We purchased a cottage and upgraded the appliances. After the walk thru the compressor on my Kitchen Aid refrig stopped working. We moved in at the beginning of May. It is now July13, 2022. No repair, no idea when the part will be in. Checked with Mastercare, they have no answers. Sent email to Whirlpool, still waiting to see what they say. If i wanted to sell this cottage today I would have to pull the appliances out of here and sell without. Not very happy with Mintos nor Whirlpool. Still at square one..... UPDATE. I got my money back for the original purchase. Got a new refrig AFTER i contacted the Pres of Mintos. No thanks to Whirlpool

I have never bought from Minto and was just about to make a purchase. However, I noticed that they were happy to give nice comments to customers who left positive feedbacks but failed to acknowledged those you had poor customer experiences. That alone in itself raise red flags!
People need to be wary of how the company addressed these issues and consider whether they want to have these same experiences. I'd rather pay more and be happy than cheap and be let down. Many of us ignored these signs and pay the ultimate price.

BAD CUSTOMER Service: I am stuck with a £120 pair of sandles I ordered for my son which were to small! There was no returns slip so logged my return and never received a returns label. I’ve sent email after email, Instagram message after Instagram message, Had no address to send them back to we’re over 3month and still no response. This is totally unacceptable.. do not buy from this company. A refund would be nice !!

Bought 2 pairs of birkenstock sandal , recieved one and The other pair on it’s way to Mars or somewhere???? Wrote and talk to Miinto about been refundet after 5 working days 🤥🤥🤥🤥🤥🤥🤥. No money or birkenstocks ?? 😟😟😟😟😟😟
