One of my best friends worked at this company for a few months. He was extremely hard-working and dedicated to the company's success. However, not only did he not receive any bonuses or rewards for his efforts, but he also wasn't paid his regular wage. A company and owner that are dishonest with their employees are definitely unreliable and pose a risk to customers. I suggest that everyone stay away from this company.

If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay far away, this company is a disaster.

🚨 Warning: Unethical Business Practices 🚨
I, along with four other former employees, were unfairly dismissed and are still owed 2.5 months’ wages. The owner has a history of breaching contracts and failing to pay staff. She has now disappeared, leaving employees without pay.
I believe the company is still operating, as there is an active house extension project in London—a sale I personally made. This is not an isolated incident; she has been engaging in these unethical practices for several years.

This company were professional from the beginning to the end of the project keeping me informed every step of the way. Nathan the young gentleman who came to design and sort the project was kind polite and prompt and very professional and a pleasure to deal with. The plumbers electricians tiler and painters were equally fab. No mess. Always cleared up and I am over the moon with my completed bathroom. Thank you.

The entire process was one of the easiest home projects I've ever managed. As is my habit, I sourced 3 quotes for the job, Caroline was the most helpful and knowledgeable of the three companies quoting. My experience with Caroline and the competitive quote made the decision simple. I experienced the same level of service, professionalism and expertise from Matthew. Once the project started he followed through to completion with no interruption. This was important to me because I have had other contractors start a job and then leave it for a few days to work on something else and it drives me nuts. I am so happy with the end result that I have no hesitation recommending Modern Luxury Design . In fact, they're coming back to built my patio next summer!

Having a loft conversion is a big thing but modern luxury design made it as smooth as possible. I don't think I would have 'weathered' the experience as well with any other company. Modern Luxury design & their team, either the sales team, interior designer & the project management team, were fantastic - respectful, tidied up after themselves, worked very hard, shared a joke now and then, and really cracked on to get the loft build quickly. The quality of the finish is excellent. My neighbour had already used MLD so I was able to see the quality of their work before I decided to use them and I'm so glad I did.

Modern Luxury Design was recommended to us from other compagnies, and we were pleased to discover it was the best choice we can make. they provide excellent communication at all times and we were fully informed of costs and timeline. the team is friendly and highly experienced, and the finished bathroom as absolutely beautiful, way above my expectations.
