Cheerful competent service which inspired confidence

First impressions count, two very polite men arrived, introduced themselves, as the job was upstairs took off their shoes and kept me informed as to what was needed and what they could do. Rain was coming in a bedroom window. They proceeded to fix it and so far all is really good. The men were Very respectful and tidy.

The quote was done very quickly either measuring up etc., but the installation took 2 weeks when I was originally told 7 working days..

They blamed backlog of jobs, which I appreciate happens, I would just suggest they keep the customer informed of any delays instead of having to chase them up.

Otherwise, very efficient and professional - would recommend them.

I'm so glad I discovered Montrose Glass to assist with securing the property I'm looking after following a distressing break in.
The office staff were extremely helpful and friendly which made booking the job in simple.
The job was a little complicated as it required boarding up by creating a temporary door so we can still access the property, I could not find any other company who would provide this option.
Their fitter arrived on time and was knowledgeable and skilled as well as friendly and helpful.
Everything was sorted out within less than 24 hours and I now have peace of mind that the property is secure.

Needed a cat flap fitting so I gave them a call and an appointment was set up quickly for someone to measure the glass.
Then when the glass was ready, they contacted me and arranged another appointment to fit the glass and cat flap.
Brilliant service from start to finish, and one happy cat mamma as I no longer have to keep opening and closing the door for my spoilt moggies.

Great company called the company early hours of morning and came within the time specified and would highly recommend.

Having just moved into a new property I found myself unable to lock my patio door on the Friday evenibg before Christmas. I called Montose and explained the situation and immediately was told, over the phone, that it was the locking mechanism. Although they had someone out to secure the door within a few hours, the information that followed was incorrect. I was advised to not open the door as the locking mechanism would need to be replaced which on top of the emergency call out charge of almost £300 would total almost £1000. Turns out, when I got someone else round to look at it, it was the the door frame expanding and nothing to do with the mechanism. They never charged me for coming out and no work was needed as there is nothing wrong with the door or lock!

We had two different glaziers - one to board the broken window and measure up, one to install a new one. The first was excellent, and the second did a good job of the job, but he left mess behind (and his hammer) which was a disappointment.

Made an emergency call for a damaged window and was assured that someone would be attending the following day, only to be called back very shortly after to say that this would now have to take place a week hence. In freezing conditions with a broken, unstable window. They made sure to take card details straight away, however. This I could accept, although I did feel slightly misled by advertising that they were able to undertake short notice visits. What made matters much worse was the fact that no-one turned up to fix the window on the day specified, there was no call or explanation as to why, and a text was received later to inform that the glazier had "mixed his work up". When I called Montrose Glass to complain about this I spoke to an unapologetic, dismissive sales rep who just kept repeating that it was human error and seemed irritated, snappy and put-out that I might be a little frustrated by the complete let-down and seeming lack of care. The whole experience would have been made much more bearable if the customer service had been even half way decent but this just compounded an already disappointing and stressful experience. This company are not customer focused, reliable and seem driven by profit. Avoid!

Brilliant service fitting my catflap, great communication, did exactly what they said, turned up on time to measure and fit. All team were friendly and very efficient. Measuring took 5 mins, fitting took 20mins. Cost £466 but well worth it for the standard of service.

Super fast call back and same day came to look at the window to measure it. Window fitted within a few days and really nice customer service! Thank you!

From all the drama that led to me reaching out to Montrose Glass I was speedily reaching my wits end. I expected more people asking me complicated questions that I couldn't easily answer, and for all the um and ahing that is so prevalent.

Instead, I was delighted to receive an emailed quote, steady communication and updates, no pressure when I advised them that our insurers wanted to try something else first, and then as soon as the go ahead was given everything flowed so smoothly.

The guys showed up without any fuss and started work after checking with our warehouse guy that it was ok to proceed.

I enjoyed the no pressure approach, the open and supportive customer service, and the speed and precision of the engineers.

Our patio door shattered spontaneously on Boxing Day. Montrose Glass were able to find us a very helpful, friendly glazier within the 2 hour window promised. He was able to make the glass safe and advise on the shattered glass. Great service, especially at 7 pm on Boxing Day!

The contact centre was friendly and helpful. My problem was dealt with very quickly. Prompt and efficient service. I will certainly use this company again.

Easy to contact very quick to respond little hiccup on the ordering of all parts needed for cat flap which extended time to fit new glass but other than that very efficient
