Refunds may be difficult
I had ordered and received cabinet pulls from MyKnobs before and it was fine. Recently I ordered a towel ring and toilet tissue holder and the color was different despite ordering the same finish and metal within the same collection as instructed by the website. There was also a slight weld defect on the towel ring. I sent pictures and awaited a solution. They always answered my emails promptly and courteously but failed to follow up in the timely manner they stated such as "3-5 business days", "a few days", and "soon". Each of these required a reminder email from me at the 1.5-2 week period when I didn't hear back. After an unsatisfactory resolution suggestion from them, they authorized a refund. It took about 6 weeks and about 3 reminder emails from me to finally be refunded. I truly had hoped for a product replacement solution, but when they were unable to provide that, things became, what I believe to be, unnecessarily difficult.

"Processing" is on website, but promised yesterday, no show. This delay is costing me plenty on final inspection of home for sale. What do I hear....nothing, more excuses. Forget this place, do not depend upon their middleman supply model.
Long and inaccurate lead times
Their processing times and lead times are much longer than they say. When you ask to be find out the tracking status, they tell you it takes 24 hours to get an answer to that.

Requested all locks be keyed alike when order was placed. Upon arrival, all keys were different. Customer service has been of zero assistance to resolve the issue.
After being approved for a return…
After being approved for a return (weird process, but ok) and incurring $100 to ship the item back, 3 months later and I still haven’t received a refund.
On another refund, the “restocking fee” was more than half my refund. Had I known, I would have kept the product and resold it to recoup costs.
They have some great products, but terrible customer service and an even worse return policy/procedure. Order with care.
Correct Hardware
It can be challenging to order the correct hardware on line. Your website provided good specifications. I have the high quality lock installed and feel the house is much more secure.
Sent my order to the wrong location
Sent my order to the wrong location, did nothing to correct the problem. They first switched carrier from UPS to FedX which is a terrible action itself, FedX in NJ is awful!! UPS Always does a good job. No notification about any issue, no phone call to advise me there was trouble with the shipment - crickets - until I chased it down a week later to find out the status of my order. I'm a startup custom cabinet manufacturer and was hoping to use MyKnobs as a mainstay parts distributor - NOT NOW!!!
Order processing
My order is still “processing” after three weeks. I have called customer service twice and been told to give it more time for them to contact the manufacturer. They have no estimate as to when I will receive an update.

We ordered thousands of dollars worth of knobs for our home project. When we discovered a color difference and reordered replacement products from them, they would not take back product because we went over their 30-day return policy. This company should be ashamed of itself. Had we been aware of these strict return policies we would have gone elsewhere. Any company that is selling building hardware has to understand that these terms are too strict. Contractors get delayed and things happen. It wasn’t that we didn’t replace the product. We just wanted credit for what we couldn’t use. We are building a home so it wasn’t easy to align timing like a simple remodel in a kitchen.
Beware of these ridiculous return policies. This company needs to reevaluate how they do business. I would never recommend them.
Unprofessional and unethical
This company does not stand behind their products when they have made an error and will still insist you pay for return shipping. They are extremely slow in communicating, unprofessional, and lack integrity.
The worst customer service, zero accountability
I've been purchasing from myknobs.com as my main source of door hardware as a contractor. After a decade I had my first customer service request when they sent all of my exterior knobs without key matching them. They blamed it on me and the customer service process was atrocious. The worst I've ever experienced as a professional contractor. But I am a professional and I ordered from them again. For the second order in the row they sent the knobs out without having them keyed to match. They then blamed me again even though I had photos of the notes I sent with the order and refused to fix the situation. Emtek the manufacturer of the knobs stepped up and immediately solved the proble, also suggesting I use build.com in the future

It took a long time for my item to finally arrive and I know that part of it was lots of bad weather, but I had to connect and find them to give me an update. I wish they had been more proactive.
Not a good experience. Don't order.
No communication between whoever updates status of product and the shipper. Status was never accurate. Product was weeks delayed. They did not follow keying instructions they also failed to list important measurement specifications for the entry set. Emtek included those measurement guides in the box when it arrived, but those measurements were never listed in the product specifications. I would have known this entry set was not compatible with my door if this was listed on the website when ordering. Between the keying instructions being ignored, the lack of important details on the website, rude customer service and no communication between myknobs and their shippers/producers, I would say do not order from this company. I ordered another entry set from a different company that had clear measurements and appropriate choices for each measurement listed on their website.
