I am not entirely happy about my experience at Nat. Tyre, LS19. I was supposed to be in a “premium slot”, but it still took 1.5 hours, with a £3 extra charge. In 2021 I had 4 tyres put on there. I waited less than an hour and don’t recall paying a slot charge. To me that doesn’t spell progress. Also, and importantly, I thought tyre pressures were quite important in car ownership and tyre management, but maybe this is not a view shared by some of National’s staff. I found all my new tyres had been inflated to just in excess of 40 p.s.i. This is higher than what is recommended even for a heavily-laden vehicle. The front ones should be at a higher pressure than therear anyway. On picking my Leon up I asked specifically if the pressures were correct and I was assured that indeed they were.

I needed 4 tyres for 2 different vehicles and after a disastrous visit to Protyre in Horsforth (seriously, don't go to protyre!) I had amazing service from Zane at the Yeadon branch of national tyres. Really friendly and helpful. He is a credit to the company.

The team at Yeadon National Tyres were so helpful and came to my rescue when my tyre burst, even staying open late. I had had a very stressful day and they were brilliant. Thanks Sam and team

Visited the Yeadon branch today after booking an appointment online last night for the next day as had found a screw in my rear tyre. Surprisngly when they removed the screw they advised me that it hadn't gone through and I didn't need to buy a new a tyre after all which was very good news! Exceptional service and will definitely use again. Many thanks to Zane

Quick break test not charged or told anything I didn't need great attention from the staff.

I always get great customer service at my local branch in Yeadon. It's good to know that I can have my tyres or brakes checked without being charged and honest advice. It makes me feel safe.

Pre ordered (and paid) 4x Yokohama tyres online on 25th for fitting on 29th at local centre. I turned up for appointment to be told the tyres hadn’t been ordered and therefore can’t be fitted at the allotted time. I have to rearrange my plans for a reappointment on Friday. Dissatisfied with the lack of communication regarding my order. Store manager has apologised and will source an alternative for Friday

The site needs more information not obvious how to book fitting of tyre and I was unclear if the true was coming to me or the chosen fitting site
