The company is an absolute scam. Offer you a website for £99 to which is done. But then come the add-ons. This year alone I have spent £500 to keep the website active. It’s an absolute con and they keep you paying 100 here and 100 there and tell you that’s it for the year every time. Do not be fooled by them and stay well clear. As someone else mentioned they call from mobile numbers instead of a dedicated office line which is also very unprofessional in my opinion.

It started with a offer for a website for £199 a year
Then they kept adding extras which was hard to say no to. They sell you the easy option take your money then keep adding extras
Like listing on google, not secure tags lifted etc
Absolute waste of money never spoke to the same person twice
But once you have made the financial commitment you are scared to pull out and waste your money
So don’t sign up in the first place
Avoid like the plague

Paid my £99, website finally got designed which I agreed. Needed to get my email domain transfered and since then they don't wnat to know. So instead of saving money switching from my current provider I am now paying for two with no website! Vicki in customer services I was told is supposed to be very reliable. Vicki needs retraining.

Very disappointed. Started off with a cheap deal that was too good to miss. Once they had me hooked, they presented a very basic 5 page web site. Then all the sales started, google search need to pay, google security need to pay.
Not a good experience.
I am going somewhere else.

Do not use! Scammers!

Contacted me to offer a design and hosting for £99 per year but then kept adding on extras which were hard to say no to, when asked is this the last thing to pay for and they said yes, a couple of months later they called me to take more money off of me for something else. They are very good at sales and upselling - be cautious! I am like many others, well and truly scammed and about £1000 down.

DO NOT USE! They are just money grabbers, completely over priced, cow boys. Service isn’t good. Do little for a lot of money. Much better alternatives out there.

Absolute scam!!! Initially sold me the dream all I had to pay for was the domain then the next time I need this and that. Always a different person rings you and tries conning you more and more money. Ive spent £800 with them and my website looks awful and they don’t care still saying I need something for my website to be accessible. Honestly stay away they are scammers all nicey nicey on the phone awful company. Take a look at my website if you want and look how awful it looks it even pops up with a silly message that you can’t get onto it!!! Type in mpelectrical.uk you’ll see how bad it is.

This company has conned me out of a lot hard earned money,
They constantly call from different numbers luring you to pay more money and eventually texting to chase up more to save you money 😂
Keep your money for yourself and go to a local recommended website design person/company who will give you a product that won’t cost you more money at every turn.
What’s started out at £99 turned out to be a nightmare and a scam,

I don't no how much I've payed this company over the years it's a shame as I liked my website but the constant moving of goalposts this year I've payed for ssl and all the other bits a website could possibly need but I got a funny call about a website domain I had to pay for this has lasted for a month now with them telling me it needs to be done now I've been ignoring it as this year it seems im getting rather a lot of calls asking to pay for various items related to my website that I have grown suspicious of them so did a little more digging my website domain doesn't run out till November so why am I getting desperate calls about this now in the middle of July saying there going to stop my website if I don't pay -Needless to say I didn't pay and yes they have now stopped my website I don't no why seems there is no regulations even though I have ssl and all the other bits a website could possibly need and my website domain doesn't run out till November but they can still turn off your website I would not recommend new world to anyone

Had a call from New world digital media.
The guy didn't even sound serious, laughing most of the time (silly laughs) like he was stoned.
So why they call first?
The answer is simple; They need customers!
And by going through the reviews on here,
I guess it's to scam newbies!!

Corrupt company just wants your money stay clear

Initially started with company saying they would set me up with a website for £99 + vat.
I have now been charged £599+vat and also £299 + vat.
Stay well clear if you want to keep your money
Shocking trickery to get people's hard earned cash

I’ve been with these guys for the longest time, I came on board for the £99+vat and honestly I’m in love with my website, yes I did have to pay for other services but it was made clear that this was optional so yes I have paid for search engine optimisation but i am very much aware this isn’t a free product and yes I had to pay for ssl certificate but it was made clear to me that it was optional and of course I would like a secured site, I am ranking on the top of the google search engines , so very much money well spent, the team at new world are very helpful and have don’t many amendments to my site. Thankyou all very much.

Honestly the worse media company I've had the displeasure of coming into contact with .... you'd think that if they were the ones being proactive and approaching companies for business... they'd take care of things professionally.

Be very aware of the additional unnessessary payments , Sales tactics and more additional payments WHEN you realise you don't want to work with them .

Steer clear

Another person scammed by this company! Fell for the £99 website offer thinking not much to loose and they said it would rank higher than my squarespace website as it was designed from the ground up (I had heard this could be the case so decided I would try it). Next call they want £600 plus vat for search engine optimisation but they had already told me it would rank higher as was custom built so surley not needed. Was annoyed at this point as was clearly becoming a scripted set of tectics to extract money from me. I hadnt even seen what they had put together. On seeing it the design was ok so I though £700 total with optimisation would be ok. Another call for more money £300 plus VAT to be listed on google places, Im almost certain this is normally free as my initial site is listed and didnt cost anything. Then another call because unfortunately my new website they had designed was displaying unsecure (what a coincidense, and clearly designed in by them as a way to ask for yet more money) At this point I told them I wouldnt give them anymore money. They told me they would redirect my initial site to the new site which was never comppleted, and guess what it doesnt rank at all on google (even after £600 on google SEO, I doubt anything was payed to google I have no proof) where as my old squarespace one ranks highly. What a waste of money and stress. Has anyone managed to successfuly take them to a small claims court?

Told the caller multiple times that I don’t want a website. He just carried on trying to force me to get a website.
Put the phone down in the end.

This company promise you the world then delivers nothing. Yes they built me a website might look good. but won't bring in any work for you! and then want to charge you more money for ssl and other products loads of hidden charges and still nothing! Then you tell them you leaving and they carry on calling to sell you stuff what a joke. Gone to a new media company they charge 4 times the price of new world digitalmedia . And I can't fault the new company I'm working with

After initial £99 offer, the calls keep coming for more money. I’ve now spent a total of £2200 and they still call for more. They just keep calling for more and more.

Con artists!! Do not use them always calling for more money I'm going to ruin there company now they have wasted my valuable time
