Lack of transparency and poor customer experience
I had a very disappointing experience with this remapping company in Belfast. Initially, I was drawn in by their apparent convenience, but red flags emerged quickly. When I first contacted them, the email communication contained several spelling mistakes, which made me uncertain about the professionalism. There are also no other visible reviews for this business, and it appears to be run by a single individual.
After agreeing on a price—£40 for a scan plus £140 if a delete was needed—they completed the scan, but afterward the car felt noticeably sluggish and much slower than before. I called him immediately, and he said he would contact "the guys in London’, but I didn’t receive any clear explanation as to what the problem was. When we met in Glengormley, I asked for a refund as I wasn’t happy with how things had gone. He stated there was a bug in the software and that he does not offer refunds, which had not been made clear beforehand. After a lot of back and forth, and only after I repeatedly asked, he did eventually reset the car back to its original state. He refunded £60, which was less than half of what I paid. Overall I was left very dissatisfied with the experience. I can’t recommend this business due to lack of transparency, poor communication, and limited accountability.
