Nock Deighton manage 2 rental properties out of a wider portfolio of over 200 BTL properties we own.

I requested an annual rental statement for the 2 properties they manage and waited 1 month for a response to be then told there was a charge for this of £36 per property plus vat. This is in addition to the ongoing monthly management commission they take.

Bunch of jokers and we're now removing both properties from them.

Unprofessional and Disrespectful Service from Nock Deighton Telford Lettings

I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the appalling service provided by Nock Deighton. I am a tenant in one of their properties, and I was shocked to discover that they have put the apartment up for sale (sign outside the property) without even bothering to inform me. I received a voicemail saying that ‘There is a gentleman who wants to view the property’.

The lack of communication and decency shown by this company is astounding. They are advertising the property online with the phrase 'may have a tenant in situ', which is not only unprofessional but also inconsiderate. I am appalled that they would treat their tenants with such disrespect.

I have requested a copy of my tenancy agreement, which I am still waiting to receive. I have also asked for an explanation as to why I was not informed about the sale, but so far, I have received no response.

I would strongly advise anyone thinking of using Nock Deighton to think twice. Their poor communication and lack of respect for their tenants make them a company to avoid.

I have asked the letting agents not to enter the property, and I will only allow potential buyers to view the property without their representatives present. This is the only way I can ensure that my rights as a tenant are respected.

We instructed Nock Deighton IronBridge to market my late fathers property.
What a wonderful team and an excellent service. Darren, Molly and Ellie extremely professional, friendly and so helpful, they all handled the sale so sensitively.
The communication was excellent and all would go above and beyond to help advise and assist us with any concerns or queries.
Nock Deighton come highly recommended and would certainly use the team again in the future

I used Nock Deighton from Ironbridge, The team there are soo polite and helpful they go the extra mile to make sure everything goes to plan I dealt mainly with Ellie she put herself out a couple of times to deliver a couple of items I’d forgotten they also gave me a lovely bottle of wine. Offer accepted & Sale agreed. Paid for ID checks and did our upmost to provide all documents outstanding, even went with the recommended solicitor. Once all of this was done we were notified via email that our the vendor had decided to go with another offer that had swooped in after our offer was accepted.

Appreciate these things can happen but no phone call to deliver this news, just an email. Reason being was it was better to digest over email, which I couldn’t understand. Considering the house purchase process is stressful enough, I found this extremely unprofessional of the branch and how this was handled by the office manager.

Waste of time.

Amazing team in Kidderminster, they went above and beyond. Found them to be friendly, more than helpful, approachable, proactive, yet professional at all times.
Would throughly recommend them.

My review refers to lettings department, Bridgnorth branch only.
At times I found a somewhat terse attitude, also with a certain amount of ageism
Contact is difficult, a 0800 number, rarely with live connection. Futile to leave a message as usual response is no response.
On my viewing of a property the agent was freelance, knew nothing of the property, Also agreed with my assessment of Nock Deighton [contact and lack of] Having informed I would be running a little late [no fault of mine] they did not inform the viewing agent, consequently I had literally two minutes to view as she had to be elsewhere re ''overbooking'

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Emily in the Telford office and her team have been faultless and professional throughout. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

Bridgnorth, well what can I say. They say one thing and do another lie to potential tenants and I’m guessing look after people they like. Told about up and coming rental after missing out on one. No info sent applied when it went live told applications are being looked at then told veiwings have already taken place…disgusting agents

After a successful viewing, my wife and I agreed verbally with the vendors to buy their property. I confirmed the amount with the Nock Deighton sales agent the same day and asked how we should proceed. To my amaizement a phone call from Nock Deighton the following day informed me there had been another offer and the venors had decided to take this offer as the buyer was more proceedable. I informed the sales agent when he called to inform me of the u-turn by the vendors that a verbal offer and acceptance by the vendor was legally binding. He disagreed. Maybe Nock Deighton intervened because I had found more competitive sales fees than Nock Deighton and told them this, who knows? In any event legal advice will be considered as I find the whole process very unprofessional and underhand.

Abigail Anderson was our point of contact at Ludlow Nock Deighton sales team. Abigail was always happy to help, easy to contact and always returned our calls. Abigail was excellent at mediating communications between ourselves and the vendors. Thank you Abigail.
