Well had a service today, yes they reduced it by £20 as it was my first service but to have to pay £100 for literally some grease put on the rail and check that it works ok, which I could of said it was just fine.
What a complete rip off, yeah I will NOT use this company again and would highly recommend future buyers to possibly look elsewhere! Not happy being ripped off like this. I can say though the initial installation was fine, this service was a complete joke.

I recently had a complex mid foot fusion operation . I hadn’t realised how difficult it would be to get up and down the stairs as I was none weight bearing on the foot . I contacted north east stairlifts . They came out the next day and I had the chair lift fit the next day . The lads who fit it were great . Quickly installed and no mess . They also talked me through using it and watched while I gave it a try . This has been a fantastic for me and I couldn’t have managed without it . I hired it for 1 year at £350 . I won’t need it for the full year but it has been invaluable for the first 8 weeks . Would definitely recommend north east stair lifts .

Parents just recently got stair lift fitted by this company. From the lady on reception, to the lads that measured up & the chap that fitted it, all very helpful & kind. It was ordered & fitted in just over a week. No mess, no damage. Very good service from this company at Fishburn. Would certainly recommend.

From first phone call to installation every thing was perfect. The lady on the phone and the installation engineers were top notch polite and efficient. Only took a short time to fit and was given full instruction. Cannot praise them enough

Excellent customer service…from the girls taking the telephone call to book us in and to the lovely fitters who came out to measure and fit the stairlift .. the best customer services we have received in a long time well done and thank you so much

We have just had two stairlifts fitted by this excellent company. They are wonderful. The salesman took the trouble to recommend which product suited us best..not the most expensive as seems to be the norm these days.The young man who fitted them was thorough and took a lot less time than we expected. He was very careful of our safety (Covid 19) and made sure that I was fully understanding of how to use them. Their prices couldn't be beaten. Would highly recommend.

We got quotations from three companies for stairlifts and we were dismayed to see that 1980's double glazing salesman tactics were rife (e.g. "we have one here you can have at a discount if you act today - but be quick, there's another couple interested" & "I'll call my manager to see if we can get you a discount"). Yes, another company that quoted actually used both of these in front of me!

North East Stairlifts were different. They had been recommended to us by a friend who had used them. We found them to be really up front, with no flannel, no fake discounts and no pressure sales tactics. They just provided the cheapest quotation that we got (by far) for exactly the same product. I recommend them highly.

I rarely leave reviews for companies (this is only my second) but it's heartening to see that a good old fashioned honest approach to business is still alive and well. If you 're looking for a stairlift and you're in the North East I'd start with these guys.
