Best Marketing Partner

We were honestly quite skeptical at first, especially because of the €5,000 setup fee. As a smaller company, we had to think carefully about whether this kind of partnership would make sense for us.

What convinced us was the performance-based approach. Paying based on actual ticket sales instead of just paying a fixed monthly agency fee felt much more aligned with our goals.

Over time, the campaigns became way more effective than what we had seen before. The longer we worked together, the better the system seemed to understand our audience and optimize towards real ticket sales.

What also stood out was the service. Even though we are a relatively small company, we were treated very professionally and received strong support throughout the process.

Overall, NYBA delivered a very solid experience and a clear performance-driven approach.

Setup fee charged – no operational delivery:

We engaged NYBA Media GmbH for performance marketing services focused on TikTok, Google and Reddit campaigns for a time-sensitive live event.

A setup fee of €2,250 was paid at the beginning of the collaboration. According to the contract, this fee covered strategic planning, account architecture, tracking setup and operational preparation for scalable campaigns.

In practice:
• No campaigns were operational within a reasonable timeframe.
• TikTok tracking was not fully functional (no purchase event properly integrated).
• Reddit setup was not completed.
• No written strategy document, architecture overview or structured deliverables were provided to us.
• €300 in ad spend was triggered without our explicit prior approval.

The collaboration was marked by delays, shifting explanations and lack of clarity around account ownership (ads were operated through their Business Manager, not ours).

After terminating the contract due to non-performance and loss of trust, we requested a refund of the setup fee.

We are sharing this experience so that other businesses carefully clarify:
• account ownership,
• tracking responsibility,
• and concrete written deliverables before signing.

We cannot comment on other projects, but this was our experience.

Der Zusammenarbeit mit NYBA ging ein Pitch und eine Testphase, bei der verschiedene Agenturen gegeneinander konkurrierten, voraus. Bereits beim ersten Pitch wussten wir, dass NYBA unser neuer Partner sein wird. Dieses Gefühl wurde von den überzeugenden Ergebnissen aus der Testphase bestätigt, in der sich NYBA mit großem Abstand durchsetzen konnte. NYBA hat sich für Live Nation als relevanter Partner im Bereich Performance Marketing etabliert. Die junge Agentur steht uns mit umfangreichen Fachwissen sowohl bei strategischen Fragen als auch bei der operativen Umsetzung zur Seite und übernimmt die gesamte Online Vermarktung für unsere Künstler, Family Entertainment und Festivals über alle Kanäle hinweg.
Herr Hetzenegger und sein Team sorgen mit innovativen Ideen und perfekt abgestimmten Kampagnen dafür, unsere Ziele und Zielgruppen effektiv zu erreichen und erzielen dabei eine überdurchschnittliche Performance.
