Oakmasters has supplied us with a vaulted Garden room and porch,they look absolutely fantastic. Our house is stunning, but now with a Wow factor!! Many in our village have been asking who supplied them. We first used Oakmasters over 20 years ago and would not go anywhere else.

Oak Masters are a fantastic company to deal with a supply a great product. I have just completed an install of a double garage with a log store. Everything went as smoothly as it could have, the team were on hand to answer any questions however the drawings provided were self explanatory and everything went together without an issue. The delayed delivery in the garage doors worked out well as we didn't have to safely store whilst the main build was going on, they turned up and were fitted the same day. Looking forward to the opportunity to working with them in the future

Great company to deal with. Ed has been very helpful throughout the process from order to delivery. The design/install package is flawless. The product delivered is very accurate, so it’s easy to erect the frame quickly. Oakmasters would be my go to company every time.

Our 3 bay bespoke car port from Oak Masters is perfect! It was designed and machined to a very high standard. We could not be happier with their process from start to finish. Highly recommend and will certainly use them again!
They helped me arrange everything from start to finish - Design, through to delivery. Ed was very quick to get back to me and comms were overall great. The quality of the product was just what I needed for a quality oak truss feature I a residential extension.
i have used Oakmaster's on two of my builds now they work out the calcs for structural use instead of steels so everything can be on show in the rooms they make all wooden structure in a flat pack for Ease and cheaper shipping and when we come to construct the build EVERYTHING and i mean every thing fits perfect they also run of a rough estimate which is pretty much 98% correct they are great to deal with and go out of there way to satisfy and when finished it looks great thanks so much

Only 1 star because there is not an option for 0 stars. Avoid this company or the directors and family at all costs. They took a large 40% deposit from me for an oak garage in December 2020 knowing at the time the company was about to go into liquidation. The directors now plan to rise like a phoenix having stolen cash from many customers like me. I challenged the directors personally in this via email and have given him sufficient time to rectify the situation which he has not done. The director runs the company with his family so avoid any companies with the same directors. Including the wedding business. Easy to research the web of companies they run on companies house website. Just wish we had know before losing so much money. The recent reply from this company goes no way to rectifying the situation. I have been offered no compensation at all or been contacted personally by anyone at the company to explain. They are just trying to downplay a negative review. STILL AVOID!

The period leading up to the liquidation in early 2021 was one of the most challenging and painful times in our business’s 25-year history. The combination of financial strain from substantial investments in our factory and the sudden, unexpected impact of COVID-19 left us in an extremely difficult position. While it was never our intention to mislead or disadvantage our customers, we recognize that the timing of these events created a perception of wrongdoing. We want to take this opportunity to provide clarity on what transpired and to acknowledge the reality of your experience.
At the end of 2020, we were working tirelessly to stabilize the business amidst ongoing disruptions to our supply chain and significant financial losses. Despite our best efforts, it became clear in early 2021 that we would not be able to continue trading and we were forced to make the incredibly difficult decision to enter into liquidation. This was a heartbreaking moment for our family, marking the end of many years of hard work and dedication to a company that had been a family legacy. The liquidation was not a choice made lightly, nor was it without personal and emotional cost to everyone involved.
Following the liquidation, the brand and factory were acquired by an investor, and we now hold minority shareholder positions in a newly structured business. Our goal in moving forward has always been to rebuild on stronger foundations to ensure such issues do not arise again and to continue delivering exceptional quality and service to our customers.
We understand that it may be of little comfort to hear these words after the hardship you endured, but we want to be transparent about the journey we’ve been on and the substantial changes that have taken place since then. Our commitment to integrity and quality has always been a cornerstone of our business, and while the company name and leadership may appear similar, the structure and model have changed significantly.
With regards to our other business ventures, we can only assure you that we are applying the same commitment to quality and integrity in everything we do. We are constantly striving to earn back the trust of those who were impacted by the difficult circumstances of the past and to deliver the high standards that our customers deserve.
We thank you for your understanding and for giving us the opportunity to address this publicly.
I have delayed writing this review as I was hoping to resolve things amicably, but I feel I have a duty to future customers of Oakmasters to warn them of our horrendous experience from start to finish. 2 years and 3 months ago, we ordered and put down a deposit for a 2-storey 3 bay luxury oak garage costing £44,000. We are still battling with Oakmasters to come and replace the inadequate featheredge board they used having promised in writing that they agreed was unsatisfactory and that they would resolve back in March 2019. I have had hundreds of emails and phone calls between myself, James Rice and Stewart Newell, repeatedly waiting up to 3 months between correspondences. We should have acted sooner when alarm bells started ringing having parted with a £13,000 deposit in June 2018 and received no correspondence from them for 3 months. Chased a further 5 times and finally a further 3 months later, they arranged a meeting and set a new installation date. The installation was 8 months late - staircase didn't turn up for a further 3 months. Every single date promised by Oakmasters was pushed back or cancelled due to staffing or transport issues. Shoddy installation with awful materials including large splits in the wood, different thicknesses, unclean joins, glue everywhere and a garage covered in oak featheredge board which is mouldy and black, having been inadequately stored - cleaned with acid twice and it still looks horrendous. Building regs won't sign off the building due to 2 outstanding issues (one with the structure) still unresolved. 2 of their freelance installers informed us this wasn't the first job they'd had problems with the company. A truly shocking experience I'll be glad to put an end to some day, I hope. (September 2020)

Since this time we have undergone significant changes in both our business structure and operations. The impact of the pandemic, coupled with internal challenges at the time, created circumstances that severely affected our ability to meet the high expectations we set for ourselves and our customers.
While this does not excuse the distress and loss caused we have dedicated enormous time and effort to rebuilding the business on stronger foundations, with an absolute commitment to avoiding such issues in the future.
The challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic were both unexpected and substantial, and we deeply regret the difficulties that affected some of our customers during that period. It’s important to provide context around the situation. At the onset of the pandemic, our business was at a particularly critical juncture, having made considerable investments in our factory and processes. Unfortunately, the pandemic triggered severe disruptions in our supply chain, leading to an abrupt reduction in turnover and significant delays in obtaining essential materials.
Despite our best efforts to navigate these difficulties, we ultimately faced the hard decision to seek liquidation. This was a devastating moment for us, marking the end of 25 years of hard work and dedication by our family. The decision came at a significant personal and emotional cost, and we fully acknowledge the frustration and disappointment it caused to our valued customers.
Following this, the brand and factory were acquired by an investor. While the brand, website, and some marketing materials may look the same, the core of our business has shifted significantly towards a more agile and sustainable model that allows us to better meet the needs of our customers.
We want to emphasize that, despite the immense challenges faced by our team, suppliers, and customers, we have remained deeply committed to delivering exceptional quality and service.
