I returned this suit over 3 weeks ago nearly 4. Used Royal Mail recorded so I know they got the suit back.
Didn’t receive a refund so tried to ring this company and NO answer on the phone kept going to an answering machine. Sent them an email same day (6th July) asking where my refund was, they replied on July 7th stating that my refund would take slightly longer as they were busy, which is fair but they did state in the email that because they had the returned suit in their possession they would pass it to their returns team to issue refund asap. It’s now the 20th of July and still no refund. I’ve sent another email saying if I don’t get my refund I’ll open a complaint with my bank get the money back that way. Absolute shambles of a company avoid

I bought 2 x boys 4 piece suits as we’ve a black tie event to go to. Kids grow so fast I couldn’t justify spending a fortune. Found this company online and ordered. I’ve an 11 yo and got age 11/12 for him and a tall 13 yo so ordered age 14 for him. The items arrived 2 days later (super fast!) they look great! I wasn’t expecting amazing quality as they were very cheap (£39.99 each which includes trousers, dinner jacket with satin, bow tie and long sleeve shirt) it’s a little thin, but both fit perfectly and the trousers have elasticated waists for comfort. My boys will look very smart! Perfect for what we needed! Thank you!

Ordered a suit for my son which turned out unfortunately be out of stock .
Customer service emailed me to let me no and offered refund or alternatives .
They were really helpful and communicated quickly to get issue sorted .
Received order the very next day and my son is absolutely over the moon with 5 piece suit as I am .

I ordered my 18‑month‑old son's christening suit from here and was really impressed. The quality was lovely, and delivery was very fast. My son is in the 98th percentile and usually wears age 2–3 clothing, so I checked the measurements before ordering. The sizing was very generous. Unfortunately, the 12–18 month size was sold out, and the 18–24 month suit was a little too big, so I had to return it. The return process was effortless. Despite not keeping this item, I was very impressed and will be back to shop for the three weddings we have planned next year.

My order arrived on time and the quality was exactly as expected. One item was missing, but after I emailed the team it was sorted straight away and sent out as soon as possible. Mistakes can happen, and the way they handled it was excellent, fast, friendly, and reassuring.

I’m still giving 5 stars because the service and communication were spot on, and the issue was resolved quickly and professionally.

Absolutely appalling experience. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before ordering from Occasionwear for Kids.

I purchased three suits through Debenhams, not realising they were being supplied by this third-party seller. Had I known it was Occasionwear for Kids fulfilling the order, I would never have purchased from them after seeing the number of negative reviews from other customers.

I paid extra for express delivery and was promised delivery by 1st July. Instead, the parcel was sent via Royal Mail 48 and didn’t arrive until the evening of 3rd July—far too late for my son’s prom.

Because they failed to deliver as promised, I had no choice but to go out and buy replacement suits at the last minute using money I simply didn’t have.

When the original parcel eventually arrived, I did not even open it. I recorded a video of the sealed package before returning it because, by that stage, I had completely lost confidence in the company and wanted proof that the items had never been opened or used. I returned the parcel using their own prepaid return label, and it was successfully delivered back to them last week.

Despite receiving the returned items, they have continued to ignore my numerous requests for my £186 refund. Their communication throughout has been non-existent, with emails and messages either going unanswered or ignored completely.

Charging customers for express delivery and then sending the parcel by a slower service that arrives after the promised date is unacceptable. Missing such an important event, being forced to spend more money on replacement suits, and then being ignored while waiting for a refund has made this one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve ever had.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Occasionwear for Kids. If you are ordering through Debenhams, make sure you check who the third-party seller is before purchasing.

I ordered a suit online for my son for his prom.

Having ordered online, I ordered a size up. The suit arrived on time but was the wrong size.

I informed the company who apologised and confirmed they did send the wrong suit. However, in order for them to send a replacement for the suit THEY incorrectly shipped I would need to send the wrong-sized suit back to them first. I did this, going through all the admin steps with Royal Mail MYSELF to do this.

I confirmed it was collected and returned. The company then informed me a new suit was shipped '24 hours' that was now FOUR days ago.

They are not responding to my emails, they do not answer their phone. I have had to go to M&S (seriously for £15 more I should have gone there in the first place, DO THAT PEOPLE). I am still awaiting the suit to even turn up, let alone a refund, compensation or even an apology. They are not responding to emails and have no semblance of customer service. DO NOT USE SERIOUSLY

Ordered on a 2 day delivery via the Debenhams marketplace. I then recieved an email from the marketplace to tell me that the item would not be delivered for over a week. I contacted the Debenhams but their response was next to useless. I decided to contact the seller directly. Not only did they send me a response the same day, despite being at the height of their busy period, they sent the item by royal mail recorded 24 and got me the item the very next day. Not only this but they actually emailed me on the day to check everything was okay. The service truly was outstanding. The suit represented good value for money. (I did need to hem the trousers but that is hardly the fault of the seller). I am very grateful for the professionalism and dilligence this company have shown. I highly recommend using them (but just go through the main website rather than via Debenhams)

Shocking service, ordered a suit 3 months ago and was sent the wrong one, to then be told that it would be delivered the beginning of June. When chasing for the order, I was then told it would be another 2 weeks and still haven’t heard anything. Now I am £60 pound down and have no suit and we get married next month. They haven’t replied to my emails and don’t answer the phone. Will not be ordering or recommending this service again.

Ordered a beautiful outfit for a christening however my son grew out of the size a week and a half before the christening, the outfit was returned very easily, the next size up was sent out in less than a week and the communication was fantastic! Thankyou so much!
