Worse company have every worked for.treat employees like shit. Boss doesn't communicate Talks about staff behind back and always stuffs up your pay. Found out was taking my annual leave without my permission!!! Wasn't adding my timesheets up properly made me pay back money. Pretty simple task when do same hours every week but no pay always was different. Constant compliants from other staff . This company needs to go!!!! Especially westcoast managers there useless

They invite me for an interview they send me only postcode of the whole new market and nothing else don’t gave me any information about where exactly the interview would take place absolutely disgusting I been sending emails asking for more details no replies what’s so ever Mr Hiring Manager: Matthew Bethell id you inviting people to the interview make sure you give them enough information and read you emails!!! Absolutely disgusting unprofessional please do not apply for any job with them as when someone mentions they just making fun of people..

This company makes fun of people. Applicants fill out very long job application forms, but they are never called for interviews. Hiring is done through internal personal references, and advertisements are published only to mislead people.

2nd review since working for ocs and its not getting any better here tonight ive come in to do my shift 9pm to 6am
I got approached by a really rude woman demanding that I do a certain task I went to my manager and raised this as I dont think its ok to be spoken to in this way there are better ways to ask someone to do something no matter what country someone comes from it should be made clear that they cant talk to people like this I then get threatened with my job by the manager saying that im playing up and acting like a child

Went for a job interview today! They didn't even show up! Noone at the place where i went could get hold of the hiring manager! How very unprofessional is that! And now seeing these reviews! I think im glad…..

Applied for over 17 applications for jobs and they all got rejected. Have experience in all roles I've applied for but I honestly think they don't know what the word is. I would recommend staying away from applying to any of the roles they offer.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from employees at this company. My elderly and vulnerable mother in law had broken down and one of their employees pulled up next to her and started calling her f**King stupid etc. I immediately contacted the company as this left her extremely upset and frightened, only to be met by someone from Fleet telling me there was nothing they could do as I didn't have the vehicle reg. Apparently they have no idea which of their drivers are in which area. I will be taking this further as they have left an elderly woman frightened to go out alone.

I’m a retired police officer with an exemplary service record and experience. I have applied for numerous jobs with this lot especially Court & Tribunals jobs. Not once have I received as much as a sniff of employment.

Terrible company to work for I had two days work and then they singled me out after that!! Why ??? As my mind so boggles and can't simply work it out for myself is to why they did it. Manager of my area I was working at if you can call her that was so discriminative towards me she said I was not properly dressed for work and moaning at the area manager saying that I'm tired I'm tired I'm tired I came along to help out and within two days I was discontinued umm???

Discriminatory, unsafe, and unlawful – dismissed after 3 days for asking for work help.

I joined this cleaning company on 3 November 2025 as a Cleaning Operative with years’ proven experience (commercial, retail, private – 100% client retention). I hold Level 3 Health & Safety certification and specialize in time-critical turnarounds, biohazard disposal, and lone working.
What went wrong – from Day 1:
1. No induction support
• My assigned trainer was absent on family leave from Day 2.
• The covering supervisor could not provide my payroll number and said “ask the trainer”.
• No access to team WhatsApp group – Business Support Manager later claimed this is “policy” but only revealed it after dismissal. No one told me during induction.
2. Set up to fail
• On Day 3, I asked a female colleague (in the staff area, during work hours) for her number “in case I run into any issues or need help in the workplace” – strictly professional.
• She objected → I immediately stopped – no pressure, no follow-up.
• Minutes later, she offered to buy me a drink – I declined to keep boundaries clear.
• Next morning (Day 4), I was refused entry and told I was sacked because she “felt uncomfortable”.
3. No process, no fairness
• No warning, no investigation, no right to respond.
• In a Teams meeting on 10 November, Business Support manager upheld the dismissal, claiming
“It’s policy to dismiss in the first 12 weeks of probation.
• They refused to provide the policy in writing until challenged.
• They ignored that I am the only Black member of staff and that no non-Black probationer has been treated this way.
4. Unsafe working practices
• No communication channel for 12 weeks = lone worker
• Breaches Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 – no duty of care for new starters.
5. Discriminatory treatment
• I was prejudged without a hearing.
• The decision was instant and disproportionate – especially given the colleague’s friendly behaviour minutes after the request.
• Racial bias is evident – I was singled out.
Advice to others (especially BAME candidates):
• Avoid this employer.
• Ask for ALL policies in writing on Day 1 (probation, communication, H&S).
• Record every interaction – they will not follow due process.
I came to contribute reliability, safety, and excellence – instead, I was discriminated against and discarded.
This company fails its legal and moral duties to new starters.
Would I recommend?

I had no choice but to resign from OCS Cleaning Company because they refused to offer any flexibility for my situation. My child has disabilities, and I asked for reasonable adjustments to my working hours so I could continue my job—but the company flat-out denied me. Their lack of empathy and unwillingness to support employees with caregiving responsibilities is shocking. If you value work-life balance or need any accommodation for your family, this is not a company that will support you. Extremely disappointing and completely unsympathetic.

Driver of a transit-style OCS branded van on 08/10 at 13.30pm near Errol, refused to comply with a merge sign then gave me an extremely rude hand gesture both at the merge and when exiting the roadworks. Never heard of this company before, but definitely wouldn’t recommend with staff like that.

If I could give a 0 I would absolute disgusting company to work for! I was racial abused by two staff one being my manager! Went through all the right steps to put a grievance in meanwhile the manager was still on site playing her games and still is till this day! Please if your on Pakistani decent please don’t work for this company because they will never have your back

Dave at special assistance in Cork airport today was wonderful. He was kind and helpful and took away any stress I was feeling.

The security team at Bolton Crown are fab. They are meticulous, friendly and helpful so it was a shock to find that one of the guards ‘Manny’ received absolutely zero recognition for saving a man’s life. He went above and beyond, was recognised by both the court manager and listings manager with a gift/card and not a thing from OCS management. Very, very poor and should be more aware of staff recognition considering the amount of bad reviews noted here on Trust pilot
