Great experience with Orange installing our heat pump and electric water heater. Appreciated the up-front work to assess the data to ensure right sizing for our electrical panel and house, responsiveness to questions, and the clear communication while preparing for and after the install. These guys are truly the best. No up sales, no pressure, just good honest work. A few of the times I’ve called Dave he did his best to walk me through the problem so that I could troubleshoot and fix myself if possible. When they do come, they’re quick, courteous and clean up after themselves. 20 out of 10 would recommend.

Our furnace went down during the cold days of winter. Dave showed up that day with the necessary part and had us up and running in no time. Friendly service and will never call anyone else. I have recommended to all friends and family and they are of the same opinion that Orange is second to none.

Dave has been taking care of our HVAC needs for the last 25 years. My mother in law, my mother daughter and me. First of all, he answers his phone and messages. Not a call center or person in China but here, close and caring! He discusses your needs, provides affordable options and lots of information. And when it is an emergency (furnace that blew up, broken thermostat on a freezing cold day, suspected carbon monoxide…) plus the many cleanings and service calls required to maintain my equipment, he always shows up when he says he will! Calm and competent!! I highly recommend Dave and his company, Orange.

David and Andy were great. We can’t say enough good about Orange HVAC. And FERN. They communicated clearly and Promptly. They answered so many questions! All the other contractors we spoke with size heat pumps with antiquated rules of thumbs that can cause the HP to be sized incorrectly, this practice can cause a ton of issues. Orange worked with FERNcomfort to to more accurately size the heat pump. This saves the client money and maximizes GHG savings.

All of the other contractors said right away we would have to upgrade our panel from 100amp to 200amp. They did this without any information/thought. Orange HVAC took the time to analyze our electrical usage and determined we did not need to upgrade our panel. This saved us $9,000.

They also monitor their equipment for 1 year to ensure it’s preforming as required. No other contractor does this. It shows the FERN/Orange stand by their work and actually care about their customers well being.
