Over the last 6 months or so my dog has decided that she really likes scavenge for yard snacks(leaves, mulch, acorns, etc). This guard has been helpful in preventing her from eating stuff outside that she shouldn’t be eating and helping her to focus on the reason we are outside(walks, playtime, and using the potty). It took her only a few trips outside to get use to wearing it. Now she knows it’s part of the processes and she calmly waits while I put it on her. The mesh has give to it(isn’t rigid) so that she can still sniff and inspect her surroundings while we are outside. It shipped and arrived very quickly.

The OutFox field guard and customer service are awesome! My beagle has a super high prey drive and had gotten a few painful eye ulcers from running with her nose to the ground following the scent of deer or rabbits. We tried protective goggles, but she didn’t tolerate them. I ordered an OutFox field guard, tossed in a few treats and popped it on her, expecting her to protest, but within just a few minutes we were off on a run through the field and she acted as though she didn’t even know it was there! We’ve used it about a month now, and no more eye issues! The owner was great helping me figure out what size to order, and was just really nice to talk to and deal with. Highly recommend this product and company!

I have two dogs that think the world is a buffet. The Outfox guard has been a saver numerous times while out on walks preventing them from eating hazardous items. We have enjoyable walks now.

My beagle dog was getting nose bleeds. He has nose cancer, and his nose bones are hollowed out. Out Fox catches the twigs and other debris before it gets in his nose. So far it has helped him. He doesn't seem to mind wearing it.

This product is worth the money for sure. I first tried purchasing a cheaper version from Chewy and the difference in quality and function was astounding. The order arrived prompty and without issue and the product is high quality and easy to use.

Product arrived early! My dog needed this as she just had a $4000.00 procedure to remove rocks from her stomach. The only other issue is that she is a poop eater, which is problematic with the mesh, but it washes out easily. I may order another one to have as a spare. Great product that my Vet recommended.

Life changing! For me, and my bulldog Mo. Mo likes to charge into bushes and injures his eyes frequently. The Outfox for Dogs protects his eyes outdoors, and I also use it inside instead of a cone when he’s recovering so he is unable to do more damage by scratching at his eyes. He can drink with it on, and is very happy to wear it. I don’t even use the Velcro straps. Thank you, such an amazing product.

I have a french bulldog that loves to scavenge on walks. I've tried other "masks" for her in the past but she refused to keep them on. After a recent trip to the vet because she swallowed some seeds from a palm tree I decided to search for a solution to the scavenging and came across the OutFox field guard. My pup may turn some heads while out on walks but its prevented the scavenging and provided great peace of mind. Best of all, she doesn't try to fight or wiggle out of it.

This is a well made, quality product! The instructions were easy, and it worked great for out Lab who eats everything. She adapted instantly and was not stressed. Able to enjoy outdoor adventures that were problematic otherwise.

I've been using Out Fox Field Guards for my dogs for some time now, and recommend them to my clients for their dogs to prevent foxtail injury, scrounging, coprophagia, etc while out and about in open spaces. They dogs don't mind wearing them (I believe the dogs like having treats dropped in before donning, so they look forward to having the hood put on). Highly recommend this product.

After spending #%&*%$#$ for issues relating to foxtails up the nose for my grandpuppy, we are now being pro-active about her wearing this 'outfox' netted guard. It's easy to put on and take off. She doesn't mind it at all. (It's nice and loose around the face. She can still pick up pine cones and sticks while wearing it. We do get a lot of questions on our walks for sure!

These are the best! We have two King Charles Cavaliers, and placing their treats in the shield makes it so easy and effortless to put on. One of our dogs had an obstruction from acorns back in 2022—thankfully, she’s learned her lesson—but our other one still loves to try and sneak an acorn off the ground. This completely takes away the worry and lets us enjoy our walks this time of year. Highly recommend! Fast shipping, too.

So far so good! This was recommended to me by our vet to help my dog stop scavenging because of SARDS, but it also helps protect her eyes since the hood will hit whatever brush before it can get to her eye. I like that it’s easily washable with soap and water and dries quickly.
